Don't let the armed guard outside detour you. The selection is great, it's clean and the two older guys I dealt with working there were knowledgeable and super pleasant to deal with.

Dane is a heck of a guy! Great service with a wonderful location. I saw Dane deal with a really rude customer with professional and kindness, even when she was not being kind at all. Highly recommend this place, and Dane is awesome! Love this place!

Clean, organized and well stocked with great varietals of wine, Champagne, beer and spirits. One of my favorite stores in the city. They host periodic wine tastings throughout the year. Most Saturdays from 12ish to 6ish they'll have wine open to taste. It's a great way to expand your palate and learn more about wine. Definitely has a local, community, neighborhood store feel to it. The friendly, knowledgeable staff also lend to the charm of the store.

I was needing some combos cheese filled pretzels coming home from my physical therapy. Went inside and i was in luck. They had a bag of those tasty treats waiting to be purchased. A friend of mine..leroy.. Is from down gatlinburg tn way. He loves a bottle of ole smoky mtn caramel/ lightly salted whiskey. I asked one of the employees there if they stocked anything close to that. He took me directly to the location. I was surprised but they had exactly what i asked for. Leroy is going to love me. Thats good but i dont want to hear any banjo music!! Lol !! Then i asked the very nice associate if they still carried chimay. It had been over 10 years since i had a taste of that smooth beer. Brewed at scourmont abbey & bottled in belgium. Its worth every penny! It costs more than the beer i use to buy in krogers. A 6 pack of yellow cans that said "BEER"! Sometimes folks it is good to splurge once in a while! Everybody on staff at this location is excellent and they carry a large selection. Stop in and see the good folks on illinois & 56th.

If you're a real 'brewee', this is my go-to place for the exotic and the cold. They carry a wide variety of new products. I love that since all my favs are cold and ready for the drive to my destination. I also enjoy that they have vendors in-store for impromptu taste testing as well as large wine/sprit tasting events. You will love this place. Its a bit higher than CVS but you won't get the cold and exotic product variants at CVS.

Great selection in Scotch, wine, and beer. Can work on Mezcal and Absinthe selection. It is still overall a great experience and helpful staff.
