Kroger

It is always good to run across a Kroger store when you are traveling. This store is located in a strip shopping center that has several very active stores in it. It became like a one-stop shopping area for us today.

The produce was fresh and the selection was very good.

We found this store had a good selection of meat and dairy products as well.

Even from the parking lot, employees are there to greet you! There was one young man collecting carts to push them inside the store, he had such positive energy to ask how I was doing. Inside the store, the clerks were so nice too, and even customers were greeting me, this is a place where everyone is nice!

I cannot say enough things about this Kroger! They are so friendly and always helpful! I feel bad because I know the pharmacy is very shorthanded; they have long lines and can’t keep the drive-through open. My only suggestion to them would be to try to get more people on the pharmacy side employed. Otherwise the store is A+ 100 great 👍🏼

The Spartan Square location is fantastic place to shop. Even though I live closer to Lakeside I'd rather drive across town to shop there instead. The front end staff are so friendly and helpful. There's a decent selection in there. As a strict vegetarian, they have a good frozen section in addition to a nice produce area.

I can have a bad delivery at other Kroger stores that put me in a bad mood but as soon as I get to this one for a delivery the people are so great that it just makes me feel so much better.

Yes, parking is a big issue at this location, especially since they are under construction and those spots are being taken up. However, I love the personal attention I always get from the clerks, especially Syretta. She is the most professional, friendly and helpful person there! I will definitely keep shopping here and I look forward to a finished store that I can finally find everything!

On this visit, I was looking for one of the items included in the 3 day sale. There were none in the display case. I asked the young man working the self check area if they did substitutes or rainchecks and he said he thought there were some in the back. He asked how many I wanted and he went back, got them and brought them to me. Very helpful young man! Every employee I've encountered in this store is very helpful and friendly.

I love that place to shop, you can't find any place like it and the people is so friendly. It makes sense for me to go there. If anyone who read this if you have a hard time finding something just asked they will even go with you to fine it. Go what you waiting on. I go the Store Just about every day or every other day person for something.

I have always been a big fan of Kroger. I actually worked at another location for a few months while I was in high school and they were a great place to work. Some of my former co-workers now work at this location in Salem. All of the employees are friendly and helpful. The produce section is usually well stocked with quality items although occasionally the shipment the receive of certain items may not be the best that week. There are a lot of great steak and seafood options in the meat department. If you have food allergies they have many great options in stock, especially gluten free. ClickList at this location is typically pretty good although sometimes on specialty items that are difficult to find in store they will list them as out of stock and you walk in afterwards to find the shelf full of them (which kind of defeats the purpose of the service) but overall they do a good job.

Favorite place to shop!! Love private selection and everything Kroger! Very inviting environment and love their produce.

Pharmacy Tech Wendy is amazing . She goes above and beyond to help you and make sure you are getting the best price possible for your medications . I am truly going to miss this young lady when she transfers .😭 Wish everyone cared about their customers like she does .

This is a user friendly store with a wide variety of everything including a bakery and Deli. There is a decent assortment of groceries for the Latino community. This is important to our family since my wife is a Latina!

The Salem, Va location has added more self service terminals it has a better flow. I shop this store regularly. It is always clean and organized.

My experience @ Kroger huh ? Well what can I say, it was sensational ! Practically orgasmic ! That fruit & vegetable section is just to die for ! And the frozen foods isle, it's perfectly nipplely, I mean nippy, which makes it makes it man's best friend or one of them. Everyone knows Kroger is the hot spot, the perfect place to meet a significant other for a one night stand ! Everybody's doing it ! Don't believe me, ask your mom ! She practically lives there. It's Kroger man, what more do you want? Go see for yourself & if you're looking for some milfs, you're in the right spot ! Chad's mom's there ! Ya feel me ? The employees go out of their way to help you. Everyone is so nice. Plus they have click list. I love not having to shop!

Variety of products, good grocery store. Like to do the shopping here while staying in Roanoke on business.
