Been here a handful of times and every time we’ve been here it was extremely pleasant dealing with the super friendly staff! Bought different things every time we go here and they have always been knowledgeable in each individual department, always wanting to help answer our questions! Would be coming back in the future!

The store is very nice and organized I like how to handle all the clothes separated from Nike to under armour to puma. Somebody had to put some thought into that store. Very clean the bathroom is clean as well. He's really really nice I really like going into academy just to look sometimes.

Excellent customer service!! I've always read about Academy price match but experience it first hand today. Purchased an item that I needed. Found another brand store that sell the same exact item for less. Went back to Academy on Hwy 6 South and talked to sales person Michael and Byaly and they wasted no time on getting me squared away and refunded me the price difference. Academy for sure stand by their price match policy. My buying and returning experience at Academy has always been very pleasant and very satisfactory!! Thanks Academy!!

Even though we showed up on Tax Free weekend which totally did not even recall it being that day until we arrived, our time there was well spent. Lots of inventory available to choose from in mens shoes. We found what we wanted in no time. Checkout lines were definitely long but every register was managed by an employee and handled our transaction very smoothly and quickly. Great job Academy teams in being prepared for a large and busy crowd of consumers that day!

The manager, Connor was very helpful after I was told by another employee that what I wanted was not possible. I truly appreciate the quality customer service!

This place is just awesome. Most things are in their place and stocked properly, the employees are very friendly and the building is clean.

The man that works in the shoe department was so helpful. He knew alot about the shoes. I was really impressed by him.

I went there and bought a pistol and was out. I have a license to carry, even though it's not required in the state of Texas, so the process was smooth. I was able to get a military discount as well, which I believe was 10 or 20%. This is one of my favorite stores to shop.

I ❤ this location! I went in to buy my husband a pair of good work boots. A super awesome employee in the shoe department by the name of "Catherine" helped me. She was VERY knowledgeable of her entire department and was able to recommend me a great shoe that makes husband really liked. Employees like this are rare to find and I really appreciated her taking the time on me :)

Byaly went above and beyond helping me with my return. 5 Star employee and SUPER CLEAN 5 Star store! Always has been a great store to shop at.

I had the pleasure of having Kim as a cashier. She made me laugh and academy needs more cashiers like her. I hope academy recognizes employees like these and keeps them!

Also one fella noticed a long line and called the back ups to come make it move faster. Did not get his name but glad to see it has people being attentive.

I love this store!! It has all the cool Astros gear & my workout apparel.. & Mr. Byaly greets me every time i come in there to buy stuff.. He is always helpful & professional.. GO STROS!!

I was looking for a new pair of athletic shoes. I found a pair that fit and looked great.

The staff was very friendly. They were hard at work restocking the store during non peak hours. Their customer engagement did not stutter while performing their restocking duties.
