Schnucks Ballwin

A solid middle to upper level regional grocery store chain as far as prices and items carried which reallyshows in the deli, meat, and seafooddepartments. They have a large variety of name branded items that are good quality and taste. This location is very nice and clean. It has a pharmacy. I even worked there for a time.

Just moved to this area in November and just went to Schnucks today. What an awesome Schnucks, it's huge and very clean, very friendly staff and great variety !!! And no rotting meat on display made it perfect to say the least, as I've experienced at the Schnucks stores I used to shop at near Kirkwood.

they have everything you can want. the staff can be testy or friendly. the baggers can be interesting at times

Despite the name, you don't have to be a Shmuck to shop at Schnucks. Great prices, wonderful staff. Been shopping here for years and no complaints yet. I haven't had a problem with the deli. That one review made me a little paranoid but still no hairs.

I shop at the store multiple times a week for many years. I’ve never left a review but in the hundreds of times that I’ve shopped there, it’s one place that they still have employees who care about their customers. I only had one incident where I was frustrated at self check out, completed the survey, and a manager actually called me! The Schnucks family seems to care about their employees and having employees that care about the customers. Bravo! Another reason I love Schnucks is real live actual people to check you out instead of doing it yourself and always having problems. I will never shop for groceries at Wally mart again because of that.

A great local grocery store. Lots of recent updates and improvements in the store. Great to see the company keeping things fresh. They are involved and active in the community. From the bakery, to produce, to the deli and the checkers everyone is kind and helpful. If you need something special they will help you find it.

Let's talk about Katie in the Bakery... I stopped by just before closing time to inquire about a cake for a bridal shower at work. I didn't know what I wanted, but knew I didn't want a run of the mill quarter sheet. While I'm sure she was anxious to end her workday, Katie stopped and offered several ideas. I ordered a 3 layer strawberry filled cake and left the rest up to her. Let me say, Katie 100% delivered! The cake was beautifully decorated and absolutely delicious! The bride-to-be loved it and our coworkers were vying with each other over who got to take the last piece home. 🤣

Everything was decently priced. Out of town so I just bought the basics. And the most expensive thing I got was $8. Very organized and clean.

Great place to shop! A female crew member was very helpful today. She help me reach an item on the shelf and got a bag of very heavy ground salt and place it in the cart. I recommend the Ballwin Schnucks because of the friendly and helpful staff.

A quick in and out to get some peaches, no lines, the peaches are terrific!

We went to the CVS to get our Covid booster vaccines. It was very busy but our appointment was completed right on time. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. This was so easy. Get your jabs ASAP. Let’s all help each other.

Though the store is great (friendly staff, great selection) I am really here to review the pharmacy. We are at the pharmacy a lot, and they all know us personally and are such kind, knowledgeable people. They go the extra mile 100% of the time to make sure we have everything when we need it, even when we drop the ball. They have bent over backwards for us time and again, whether it's fronting us a few days' worth of medicine until the refill goes through, or arranging for us to get our meds at another nearby pharmacy if we need them ASAP and they aren't in stock here, or persistently calling unresponsive doctors. Before we started filling prescriptions here, we had terrible to mediocre experiences at other pharmacy chains, but we've been using this Schnucks for a few years and couldn't be more pleased!
