Strack & Van Til

Came to get sandwiches from the deli. Employees were nice, and the sandwiches were made on time.

What a great grocery store with the friendliest staff! Very clean on the inside. Many many great deals and we had a very nice employee that took a photo for us.

Paczki Day 2022 is March 1st this year! Moving here 2021 had to find a new place for Paczki and while shopping was pleasantly surprised to find a whole table of them out with a variety of fruits and Bavarian cream that were packaged with 4 for $3.99. So glad to come across them as it made me think of my previous bakery. See my photo. Below is my previous review from last year.

Thinking of moving to the area and decided to stop in Strack & Van since that would be where I would be shopping if I chose to go ahead with the move. I never heard of the store before. I was pleasantly surprised with the store and found many good prices and good food. What I really liked was the friendliness of people - I was walking down the aisle with my cart and someone actually moved over and said I am sorry - I didn't mean to block your way! Wait what? Someone actually said that? Not where I live now!!!! Seems like a nice place. I signed up for the emails so I could keep track on sales etc to see if it really is good prices and I would say yes it is.

I got to the floral department over the weekend, becomes I need a floral arrangement for someone special for retirement. The florist I think her name was Kim, she did a excellent job. She make me a beautiful arrangement. I was very happy and excited when I see what she did. An also very affordable price. Great job. I love this location of Strack. I live i Lowell but my town store never impressed me. Worth to drive! Good job Strack in StJohn especially Floral department 👏🏻

Excellent grocery store. They have started to carry some more vegan foods. I have always liked stracks as my mom shopped at strack stores when I was a kid. Plus I have been told alot of them are now union labor. Pro-union all the way. Give stracks a try I think you will like them to 🤔

What's not to love about getting ur groceries! They have an app with coupons and u earn points

No waiting in line! Everything stocked so well. Love it!!

The cake decorator here needs a serious raise!!! Every cake we order from here comes out a million times better than expected. We always go with marble cake and a whipped filling. The rest of the store is pretty nice too. The produce department is a bit small and confusing to navigate but otherwise is a fine store. We will always be coming here for our cake needs!

Always very nice staff. Today was one of the last days to shop before a big storm comes in, and the staff kept everything stocked, and checkout was easy to get thru.

Always super friendly staff at all hours of the day!! And I love their ever-growing vegan selection of foods!!! I was devastated when they announced they were possibly selling out to Jewel.. I’m so grateful that they didn’t! They always do a great job of organizing the shopping carts every time I’ve gone in. I love that their employees are Union. They always offer to take your bags to your car, and of course bag up all of your groceries for you, even at 11pm. Just a great grocery store with great people!!

I had a very great experience here today. There was a young kid carry out who was so helpful and pleasant. His name is Noah. What a nice change to talk to someone who has dreams and I hope he succeeds!

Store is always clean and well stocked. Staff is extra friendly too. Bakery has the best muffins. Frozen food section has many options. Not a big fan of the app, but it won't deter me from shopping here.

Very well stocked, clean, and organized! Plenty of employees to help and check out was quick even though they were busy! Best of all (in my opinion) my fruit was put in a separate bag from my canned goods! Seems like everywhere else the baggers just throw everything in bags without thinking..

During trying times, past and still face, it's so important to realize the stock levels are NOT the cashier's fault. Or even the store's. What store wouldn't want their shelves filled to capacity for their customers? Shelves are stocked as quickly as possible. And "most" every employee who comes to work, wants to provide the best service to you. Strack & Van Til is a choice we have. I am pleased to be an avid shoppet.

Great grocery store. I go to Stracks over any grocery chain around. Very friendly folks, good prices and they get locally grown produce when available. The Lowell stracks didn’t have a product I was looking for, the manager took the info and ordered it. That’s customer satisfaction at its greatest.

This Strack & Van Til is first rate. When you walk in, you get the feeling that your in a place geared towards the customers, to make their lives easier in the thought of "what to cook for lunch or dinner". Have tried many of their prepared, take home and heat dinners. Most we have found to taste great and be ample for 2 persons. Their salad bar, were you choose what you want, is first rate. I never hesitate to build our own salads to take home. The whole store is well laid out, everything seems geared towards pleasing the customers. Bravo for a job well done!

This store is clean. Produce is fresh and appealing to the eye. The deli has a variety of cold cuts, cheeses, salads, and hot items. Bakery items are deliciously displayed. Meat counter is fresh, but pre-packaged.The store carries numerous canned goods, water, breads, soaps, pretzels, chips, cereals, dairy items, and freezer items. All staff members are helpful with a smile.
