We love Pepinos and anytime we are near them, we stop to eat. It's as good today as it was 35 years ago.

100% would recommend! Combo sandwich was delicious and the meatball just as good! Fast serious and clean inside..always delicious..

Holy cow, if you like Itilian beef, you have to try this restaurant. I had the itilian beef itilian sausage combo, and it was the best itilian beef I have ever had. On top of that, the fries are fresh cut and just as good. Great out of the way spot that I found. The staff was really friendly and recommended the food to me. I will definitely be returning again!! If you go there to eat, you're going to put on about 10 pounds with their portions, but it is worth it!

Got the combo beef and sausage with the works. Great tastes- beef flavor, char on sausage, just right roll- and portions are made for leftovers. Will definitely be a return guest👍

Always a great visit when we come! Their Italian beef is better and bigger that Portillos. I got the steak sandwich for the first time and I really liked it . My favorite is the Italian sausage and meatball sub.

Ordered Shells filled with cheese, which is pictured in the large round container. Good. 2 kids portions (spaghetti, mostacolli) which come in Styrofoam cups as seen in photo, and they ate them. Though the kids didn't like them since the sauce is too rich for their taste. Ribeye sandwich was cooked correctly and had great taste to it. The food is good and reasonably priced. It gets 2 stars for presentation as everything is packed tight together, but the quality was good. All had a homemade taste, too.

All I need to say is...they serve the BEST COMBO sandwich I have ever had!! With juicy roast beef and a mildly spicy sausage that sort of "pops" with each bite, you cannot go wrong. And the prices are reasonable here!

So much beef on the sandwich, I couldn't finish it. Also had spicy and garlic parm cheese curds, TO DIE FOR. Prices are great too. Highly recommended.

Definitely a hole in the wall. with the Hussle and bussle of the surrounding area, this is a nice place to take a break and catch a bite. The Italian beef was good and their salsa style gardiniera was delicious and kicked it up a notch. We also ordered a pizza and it was actually very good, huge pepperoni thick cheese and it held itself very well.

Top it all off, they recently got a liquor license and sell beer at minimal cost!

Right behind CVS off Rt41. Been going here for years. Not many places at all like this around. Clean and friendly staff. Seem to even keep the same staff for years. Impressed. Prices are ok for the quality and freshness. Electric games for the kids. Tv for the games. Lots of parking.

Food is made pretty quickly and hot. The lasagna comes with lots of extra meat sauce. Great for dipping your garlic bread. Your get a salad too with your meal. Not much of anything on it / in it and just vinegar and oil. I really don't eat them. I love Olive Gardens dressing hint hint staff

They have fresh pizza by the slice too. One of the mangers made sure we got the freshest slice. Impressed. You can take the back roads if you don't want to drive 41 too.

Only place even close to this is Fazoli's but they are way in Valparaiso now no more Schererville.

What a gem! We were in the neighborhood and googled good Italian food with easy going atmosphere and we were very happy with Pepinos.
The food was all fresh and authentic tasting. We had mostaccioli and meatballs and also, the lasagna.
Salads were simple with a nice vinaigrette. Garlic bread soaked in butter 🧈 😋
Heaping helpings of pasta 🍝
All in all, and at a decent price, it was great.
The young ladies at the counter were super nice and attentive.
We'd definitely go back. And tell a friend.
Also, they have Italian beers 😉

All the foods great never had anything bad great juicy Italian beefs with house made gardinara, if you get pizza an like pepperoni get double they’ll really load it on there.

Fantastic beef for a fair price. Bring your appetite as these are healthy portions. Love the home style greasy fries.

Fantastic Italian eatery that moved from IL to it's current location in Indiana. We have been eating here since it was in Calumet City, and it is just as good as ever!

Everything I've had here over the years is fantastic, but for me, the sandwiches are the real standout. They are huge, covered in sauce and cheese, and are more than enough to enjoy for two meals.

Of course, I must mention the lasagna too, the best I've ever had outside of the home.

I try to eat here whenever I go back home, worth the trip down for sure!

Always a treat to go to Pepino's. I have followed them from their original location in Calumet City to their new location and I will always be a loyal customer.

Baked Lasagna. Italian beef on garlic bread with cheese and hot giardiniera. And a basket of hand cut fries. Enough said? If you havent been here, go! There is nothing that disappoints.
