The atmosphere here at Christmas is absolutely amazing. The decorations really gets you in the Holiday Spirit. Thank you for going above and beyond to do all the great decorations, especially the train.

We love our old school restaurants and this one didn't disappoint us either. The food and service was amazing and a lot of the food was home made inside the restaurant. Its a must see and we will be going back soon. Loved it ♥

take my family of 11 here every year for Christmas Eve. Servers are always efficient and very kind and food is always fabulous. You cannot beat the Christmas decorations, especially when coming there with my grandchildren. Keep them busy when they get antsy at the table. Great atmosphere for little ones. It is a traditional Christmas Eve brunch I started three years ago. Will continue so long as the service and atmosphere remains great. The Christmas Eve menu is always the same! So, if you’re looking for a large variety NOT the place for you on Christmas Eve. I have never eaten here other than Christmas Eve. But rumors have it that it is “all” delish!!!

I’m at day 50 of a stem cell transplant and I am finally eating and wanting really good food. My neighbor graciously offered to pick this up for me and I could not be happier right now. I ordered the lunch perch special. Done perfectly! The mashed potatoes and gravy hit the spot as well. I was too full to try the cole slaw, but it did look a little less green than what I was used to in the past. Five plump pieces of perch with the oh so delicious tartar sauce was “chef’s kiss” perfect. I have been hungry since July 7th, and I am full and happy today!

We were a party of 12 and they accommodated not usually having that big of a party. The service was very good, our waitress kept making us hand the food down the table instead of handing it directly to each person; all in all she was a great waitress. The food was fantastic and I'm totally planning on coming back again! I would totally recommend this restaurant if you are looking for fine dining with formal/business casual attire!

I never thought I'd be highly recommending Teibel's. They have kind of a dated feel with old-school (classic?) menu options. Our family has been there multiple times throughout the years, and it felt like a restaurant more for my parents than for the younger generations. Despite my impression, they are actually keeping up with the times. I was really impressed when we went there recently. I asked the server about their gluten-free options, and she KNEW immediately what was and wasn't gluten-free. That is rare for most restaurants, sadly. She also offered to get me some gluten-free rolls, and my meal came out with a little "gluten-free" flag on it. When we were ordering dessert, I asked if the lava cake could be made gluten-free, fully expecting that to be an impossibility. But she said YES, they make a gluten-free lava cake! 🤯 Lava cake is my favorite dessert, but I haven't had it in years as no one else makes it gluten-free (and baking a GF lava cake myself would be a real challenge). I was absolutely ecstatic. And it was SO good!

Really, truly excellent customer service. They are leading the way for serving gluten-free customers.

This was our first time coming to this restaurant and we will definitely be coming back. Beautiful restaurant friendly staff with above and beyond service. Our waitress Mary was amazing. Great food. Oh so much food, decent prices for the amount of food you get. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

This is a very nice restaurant. Gorgeously appointed, good, substantial food, good service and the place is just huge, yet nicely sectioned to still feel intimate!

Wonderful atmosphere, service was great, very personable wait staff, food was very fresh and delicious. Great place for a date or for a family gathering.

This was my first time here and it was a great experience. They were a little busy so we had to wait 15 minutes for a table. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the all you can eat cod and shrimp dinner. It was good. It came with soup, parmesan cheese fries, and a large portion of coleslaw. They also serve wonderful dinner rolls with some fabulous garlic and it tasted like pimento spread. Oh and I almost forgot, you get a scoop of ice cream after you finish dinner. The butter pecan and the peppermint were very good. The food, staff, and environment were very nice for our family dinner. I recommend this wonderful place.

Well, after a long night on the road, I decided to stop in and visit a staple in the northwest Indiana community. Teibels has always been known for their great fish and prime rib, but a lot of people don’t know about their pizza. I believe that it is a secret menu item, but I was tipped off about it after reading another review on google. I got the sausage mushroom green pepper and it was delicious. There were a lot of snails on it and I didn’t ask for that but I still ate them. Next time when I go, I’m going to see if they can add pieces of lake perch underneath the cheese and just have a perch pizza but I was too afraid to ask when I was there. Next time I go back I will be getting the pizza again. It was fantastic.

We booked my granddaughter 1st birthday party in the Crystal Room at Teible's Family Restaurant and everything was prefect. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. My granddaughter truly enjoyed herself.

I hadn't been to Tiebel's for nearly 50 years but was so happy to happen across this great place again today! It was a special place to visit as a child and still is. If you're a fan of mid century modern design, you'll find yourself in a time capsule of "cool"! The service at lunch today was excellent. The young lady who greeted and seated us was elegant. My wife's turkey dinner was good, but not exceptional, but my perch was excellent! The rolls were fresh, the slaw was light and sweet, the green beans tasted homemade and fresh, and the pickled beets and cranberry sauce were both refreshing. I can't wait to try the fried chicken (which our neighboring table patrons said was terrific) and the filet mignon. The perch filets were served with potato choice, veggies, lemon and drawn butter. A scoop of ice cream was included for dessert. I'm anxious to return!

Been going here for decades, never disappoints. Lake perch, mashed with gravy, coleslaw, peppermint ice-cream. Outstanding service, too. Was part of a group of 100 in a banquet room. Well done.

We just had my Mother's funeral luncheon there several weeks ago. It was absolutely wonderful. Food and service excellent. I had many friends and relatives tell me it was a very awesome luncheon. I would suggest to anyone. Thank you Teibels.

always a great experience. it was a pleasure to celebrate our 50th anniversary with family here. the service was impeccable and the food was great. we had a party of 22 and it was no problem for them. other places wanted a deposit and limited menus. everyone got to order from the menu and we were all served at the same time . the chicken and perch combo was excellent. thank you for the memories.

One of the best dining experiences you could have. Yellow perch lightly battered with drawn butter and excellent tartar sauce wonderful. Friday nights is also all you can eat. 10 out of 10

Lunch time, stuffed mushroom caps are very tasty, along with Teibels rolls & butter, Cole slaw is always good too. Service is good, attentive. Today I had chicken, pretty good, rice pilaf mmm. Dont forget desert, peppermint & chocolate ice cream tops it off

Teibels does it again!! Fabulous. What a great place to enjoy and celebrate Festivus at! Perch and chicken were as good as they have been for years. Amy our waitress was amazing and on top of it before we ever asked! Well done Teibels. Thank you for making our Festivus Celebration complete!
