Very good spot. Workers were very quick to make me a sandwich and overall super nice. Produce is also top tier. Never had an orange more juicy!!! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic selection of local produce, homemade baked goods, salads, sandwiches, smoothies and bulk items. The cookies they make in-house are huge and out of this world. Appreciate the spice section as well. Lots of organic and non-gmo items. Reasonable prices. Wonderful SJ establishment to support.

My first time coming in, I decided to order the pina colada smoothie. Emma was so helpful and kind when picking out the smoothie. While I was waiting, I decided to get a Heath Toffee cookie. Both are amazing, I'll definitely be back!!

I have a confession... picked up a blueberry cheesecake for the holiday... and may have just single handedly ruined Thanksgiving. I ate the entire thing myself in a 12 hour period.... and I'm not at all apologetic ! It was delicious! This new Bohemian Baker... knows her craft! And I can't wait to try the rest of her confections.

So happy the bohemian baker is here, my family and I have went to her for years, she never disappoints! Her pumpkin pie, banana bread, cheesecake, cupcakes, cake pops, and hot chocolate bombs are all amazing!!

I had purchased a few of the baked goods made by The Bohemian Baker and they were phenomenal!! We cant wait to try her other items! Keep up the good work!

Love Produce Depot . Yes prices can be alittle high. But that's everywhere. There produce is of high quality. When there are sales on there stock you can't beat the prices. Find different produce that I like to try.

My first time going. I was pleasantly surprised and LOVED it. Sons girlfriends both vegan/gluten free. I found several items for them, both. Staff very helpful in educating me for future visits to best accommodate girls. Looking forward to trying the soups/sandwiches. Definitely will be a go to for me.

Good variety of fresh produce! Prices are ok. Been shopping here for years! So glad to be able to find the fresh produce!

This is a great little hidden gem in the area. Locally owned mom and pop grocery stores are nearly extinct and this place continues to be a great service to the community. My kids love the smoothies as well.

This great little food boutique is wonderful. I prefer personal small shops with hone made "this and that" from the baked deliciousness, to the home made meatballs to die for, a quick tuna salad and best light potato salad I ever had. Then there''s organic produce and some specialty items to tempt.
Mushroom ravioli !The last cashier I met was friendly and warm. Her sell on the meatballs tasting amazing was spot on. Bread of Heaven will knock your socks off. Their cinnamon swirl leaves you speechless. Lol
We should cherish our mom and pop shops.
With all the roving big companies taking over please patronize our neighbors.

Update November 2020 : Now more than ever we need to support our small business's. This diamond in St. John is more than worth the drive for me to get to it. Quaint small but everything wonderful. I've been a customer since it opened in Dyer years back. During this horrific push to destroy small business so all we'll have left is corporate chains, I appeal to the public to support Produce Depot as well as other small businesses. Please don't allow the chains to destroy our greatest assets. I lost a small health food store in Hammond 2 years ago. Literally broke my heart to say goodbye.
America needs mom and pop stores. Let's not lose anymore of them now. Join me in supporting them.

This a great place with a really nice staff! The service is unmatched. As a nutritionists, they get the highest rating! The smoothies soups and sandwiches are top quality!

They have great produce! A lot of hard to find items! Great place for fresh gluten free baked goods. I had an Apple crisp and some gluten free cookies and they were awesome! Lots of interesting gluten free items I have not seen elsewhere. I will definitely be back!

If you really want to support a mom and pop business this is it. They have a huge array of healthy products that are priced better than most big grocery stores. They have a healthy drink section that makes it fresh right in front of you. The fruit and vegetables are fresh and for the most part are non GMOs, and organic. They carry almost all the bean and seeds imaginable sold in bulk for lower pricing. They have a machine that grinds almonds for almond butter. Stop in you won't regret it!

Jim has a great little place! The preped deli food is delish, my wife and I love it!The produce is always fresh w/ an attractive presentation . There's a wide variety of healthy eats that are awesome. Prices are beyond reasonable and the staff and owner are always up beat , polite, and friendly! Make sure you put Produce Depot on your bucket list you'll find yourself returning time and time again!

I have been to a couple of produce outlets and Produce Depot has the widest selection and freshest produce of any to which I have been. They also carry other "specialty" items. I purchased a few spices and some bull organic grains. The prices are not the lowest, but the value is perhaps the greatest because you don't have to worry about spoilage. This store was recommended to me by someone else and I feel comfortable recommending it to others.

This place is awesome! Tons and tons and tons of fresh produce! They have a huge selection in their very reasonably priced. Very happy that they are only a few blocks away from where we just bought a new house. I highly recommend stopping in this place guarantee you'll find things you would not find in the grocery store and a much better quality of produce as well.

My favorite place in Northwest Indiana to go to get fresh produce for cooking! They also have a great selection of gluten-free and dairy-free options if you are diet requires that. When there are no farmers markets open in the winter this is definitely the place to go
