I always pick up my order through the app.Staff is always so friendly. I love how clean it is at this location. They have everything you need despite the size. Starbucks , pharmacy, clothes , groceries, outdoor, baby, cosmetics and toiletries.

Mackenzie B. is 10 out of 10. She goes above and BEYOND for her customers. She personally shipped from a locally owned shipping store to a family in another state. This Target location was the ONLY Target in the Tri-state area to carry this particular food product in stock for their child on the spectrum that has hypersensitive sensory issues that manifests itself in food selectivity and textual sensitivity. She’s an extraordinary & dedicated team member who deserves recognition for her exceptional customer service

This a very nice Target but a little on the small side than compared to a full size store. They still had everything we needed.

Small footprint, great use of existing space very open and pleasant! They offer much of what you'd expect at all targets in a smaller package.

A small-format Target store in Selden opened in November 2018. The store, is in Independence Plaza by Middle Country and Boyle roads, is Target's fourth small-format store on Long Island.

The 54,300 square-foot store features:

grocery selection with a focus on wellness offerings, including fresh produce, grab-and-go items, snacks and meal solutions

an elaborate Essentials & Beauty assortment tailored to families with kids

an adult beverage selection, including beer

an assortment of home decor and accessories

apparel and accessories for men, women and kids, including offerings from new Target-exclusive brands A New Day and Goodfellow & Co.

portable technology products and entertainment accessories

a selection of toys and sporting goods

services will include a CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks as well as Order Pickup

Target's small-format store assortments are customized to meet the needs of local guests.

"This small-format store in Selden, NY will provide more options to Long Island guests, with a convenient, one-stop shopping experience customized to their neighborhood," Mark Schindele, senior vice president, Properties, Target said. "Our Selden store will offer residents a curated assortment of grocery needs, home goods, apparel and more. We are eager to expand our presence in Long Island and become an active partner in the Selden community."

Target has signed a lease with Kimco Realty for the Selden store, which will employ a total of 60 team members.

"Target's new Long Island small-format store will be a great addition to the Selden community," local Councilman Kevin LaValle said. "Local residents will have a new retail option to shop, and at the same time, Target will bring new jobs to the area. I am pleased to welcome Target into Council District 3."
Last October, a small-format Target opened up in Port Washington.

I've felt a target size hole in my heart ever since they left canada happily on my holidays i was able to visit this bastion of retail excellence. my visit was everything i imagined i purchased some energy drinks and food and my day was made better just by being there i hope to come back to the states so i can visit this target again.

It’s a little smaller than other Targets on Long Island but it still has everything I need when I go. The layout is easy to navigate. The store is always quiet with little to no lines at self-checkout which is nice. The cashier I went to today was super sweet and understanding when I was confused about something on the Target app, and I greatly appreciated her patience :)

The person by the self checkout I think the name was kyra? With a hat on was so nice and patient even with a line. Thank you!

This store I will visit continuously and religiously make this my local store even though I don't live locally Just because of security I believe he's the AP that works ther I believe his name is Mike He's one of the most helpful people I've ever met always treated me nicely and what a great attitude never gave me a suspicious look never a double look unless to say hello

He actually spoke to me and found we had some things in common overall he was a nice guy Even though this store might not get the stock of things that I look for I come by just to say hello to him

Sometimes you can buy things online or you can go to a store

The difference is the people can make it a better experience simply by interacting with the consumer in a hospital manner It makes you feel more personal It makes it feel more comforting It doesn't feel cold

The only other place that I've gotten such nice treatment is Chick-fil-A and that says a lot

For a quick trip to a smaller target it has everything you would need without the hassle.

Love, love love the Selden Target. It has everything you need. Big Box stuff is unessary. Great layout. A senior citizen's dream! Don't have to walk a mile to get what you need. Such a pretty convenient shopping experience. Starbucks is great, has its own little corner and you do not have to fight people leaving.

One of the best target store I have ever seen. The store is well organized and super clean. Store employees are very enthusiastic, they have self checkout option with awesome customer service.

My favorite from the stores near me. Small crowd, usually has what I need. In and out. Do not expect all the products from a big store but you can always order for pick up online. Now they have curbside which in pandemic is very necessary. Wish they could expand in same location.

It's a smaller location, but everything is easy to find. Not a lot of people in the store which makes shopping relaxing. Always have everything in stock everyone is always really friendly. Love the Starbucks here

I don’t do reviews but Z was a great guy. He helped me find exactly what I needed, and went out of his way to get a cart for me and lift the heavy merchandise to get it inside the cart. He deserves a raise.

Very friendly and down-to-earth staff and very professional. The store itself is very clean and organized. I had a very positive experience at this target. Will definitely come again :)

Love the inside and everything's nice perfect toy section perfect Everything feels like a big Target I just feel that the front of the store needs to look different I would not think it was a Target from the road.

These new, smaller form factor Targets are great for picking up essentials and more. When you need something quick, it's great to have one of these minutes away.
