Extra clean and organized store. Sushi section is very good.

We live in Pleasant Hill, but drive to Clayton to shop at Lucky's. The people are friendly, and very helpful. My Husband does not like Safeway so we go to Lucky's.
Lucky's use to be in Pleasant Hill, but they closed up, so we went to Clayton.

This is a super nice store! If you haven't shopped here, you should. It isn't usually crowded, and has both unusual things and the regular things as well. Plus the floors are super nice, and they have a fresh orange juicer. Produce is always very good. Prices similar to safeway.

There's been some great changes in this Lucky's store this past year. Prices seem more reasonable and they have really expanded on food items for those of us with food allergies. If your dairy free and gluten free this store works very well now. Our family also appreciates the expanded options of organic fruits and vegetables. Thank you.

I absolutely love shopping at Lucky's I love how friendly everyone is their the customer service is great the food is always fresh I feel welcomed there. I absolutely have no complaints they have amazing sushi bar I highly recommend it. I'm so sad that I've been living in Concord for almost nine years and I always drove past Lucky's but I never bothered to go inside till recently and now I always go to Lucky's , you don't even have to be a member to get the discounts!

Great store. Has all the foods you need. Produce section looks fresh, meats have good color and firmness. Prices are good and specials can be awesome. Aisles are wide and plenty of parking. The weekend summertime barbecue holds a special place for me.

Super clean store. Shelves always stocked nicely. Nice variety of items with much more choices in many categories. Meat, seafood and produce are excellent. The shopping experience itself is a pleasure. The store is at least 1/2 as crowded as other competition. I have run in to grab a couple items I had forgot while I was cooking. Was in and out in way under 5 minutes.

I went to the Lucky store to shop for my vegan chili ingredients. The energy in the produce area was amazing. As I was gathering my produce, I couldn't help notice the young man working in the produce area. He was interacting with so many customers as he was restocking shelves and organizing displays. As I approached the employee to ask for some help, I noticed him grabbing and bagging greens from a high shelf for an elderly lady. What a gentleman! I noticed his name badge. Alex is great with customer service. He helped me with my pepper selection. In conversation, I mentioned that I was making a vegan chili. He immediately showed me the selection of vegan products. He mentioned a few that were new to the store and shared his favorites. Alex is quite knowledgeable about his product. What an experience!

I don't go into grocery stores very often. I mostly shop at Costco, Concord Produce, and online food markets. However, sometimes the deals at Luckys are too good to pass up, and this is my favorite location to find them at. Employees are always happy to help you find something, and everything is usually well stocked and organized.

We went in on Father's Day to get some $0.50 oysters to BBQ and they happened to be out of them, (a nice gentleman employee walked back and double-checked for me) but they gave me a rain-check and I bought lobster tails for $6 each instead!

Self-check always seems to be in working order and I get just as good customer service there as I do in the other check-stands, and there lines aren't ever bad either. This is such a great store - glad it's close to home.

The staff at this Lucky's has always been very courteous and helpful going above and beyond.

My favorite market. Prices are reasonable even now, compared to other markets in the area. I know many of the cashiers. That makes it nice. I usually find what I need. I tried the instacart. That was good. But I like to use my marketing time as an outing for the week.

I purchased the prefix meal for Thanksgiving at $49 it was absolutely a steal. The food was delicious the portions more generous then stated 8 to 10 people easily fed 12 with leftovers. I would highly recommend this holiday package to anyone looking for a easy to prepare meals with great taste and won't break the bank. And thank you Lucky's and friendly staff at the deli.

One word. I LOOOOVE IT. Well that's three, but it's worth the extra two. I use to work at Kmart and I loved coming here for lunch to get their deli sandwiches. Amazing prices on them. Very friendly workers at the deli also. Helpful. And honest. And Kind. I enjoyed shopping here.

Pretty good grocery store, they have pretty much everything. Always plenty of parking

My neighborhood grocery store, while it is not as updated as the Safeway that is right down the road, there is rarely any congestion at this Lucky's which makes for a better shopping experience in my opinion. The prices are on par with competing grocery stores, and they have everything you would need or expect out of grocery store so I'm giving 5 stars just because I never have to wait in lines when I come here to shop.

This review is for Tanya, who was working at the Oakland Lucky's in Montclair during the pandemic, but who normally works at the Concord store. I went to the Oakland Lucky's on a Friday night, and on the way out, I lost my wallet in the parking lot. I called the store, and even though it was after hours, Tanya agreed to search the parking lot for my wallet. A few minutes later, I found it wedged between the seats in my car, and I called her back and told her so. She said thank god, because the flashlight on her phone had drained her battery and she couldn't call me back. Anyway, Tanya went way out of her way to help me, even when the store was closed, and she is very cool. She should get paid millions because she is so cool and helpful. How lucky Lucky's is to have her!

Good selection. Decent pricing. Fresh produce. They've always got what I need.

Great deli, nice bakery, very clean store. The staff is always available for questions or help.

I love this store and sometimes I forget that it's there. It's a little pricey but they have really good sales on their meat and produce but don't ever go there at 3 on a weekday, it's horrible. That's when school gets out and all the kids from the high school seem to go there.

Helpful and friendly employees. Competitive pricing. Easy in and out access to the store.
