Royal Blue Grocery is a neighborhood gem! Walking in feels like a warm hug from Austin itself. The staff is super friendly, turning a grocery run into a cheerful experience. They've got your essentials, a cozy coffee spot, and a menu for light meals that hits the spot. Vegans, you're covered too – they've got a fantastic plant-based selection. It's not just a store; it's a slice of home right in the neighborhood.

The cookies from Thoroughbred are insanely delicious. Some of my favorite cookies in Austin. The Pastries from Sour Duck are equally amazing. The oatmeal cream pie is a fat kid’s delight.

Try getting these kinds of items delivered and stocked on Rainey Street at big grocery chain prices. It is city living prices... I applaud them for making it a viable business. They have everything from fresh produce to hot made sandwiches on demand. They also have a very nice selection of wines and beer. I have had some really good experiences here... not the least of which have been the over-the-top service. I could not recommend this place more than 5 stars.

Convenient spot right around the corner from many hotels and apartments, good selection of food, drinks, and grocery basics. They also offer prepared foods if you need something quick to eat .

I will never be able to live less than a block or two away from a Royal Blue Grocery. The most convenient all around local market I’ve ever been to and I’m super spoiled to have it around. Premade meals, sandwiches made to order, traditional groceries, beer, wine and full coffee bar. What else could you ask for when a full trip to a mega grocery isn’t necessary? Love RBG so much, they get my advertisement on the regular for free!

Always enjoy stopping in to these when I happen to pass one by. They have an incredible selection of obscure snacks and dietary restriction friendly products including gluten free, vegan, etc. I'm an experiencialist at my core, I get satisfaction at trying new and bizarre things, and this place definitely has diverse enough of a selection to keep my interest. Also their cold sandwiches are way above average quality. Highly reccomend them.

What a wonderful grocery store!!! It is only 3 minutes walk from our hotel. They have a good selection of wine, various none alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages in the refrigerated areas. The pre-made sandwiches looked yummy. I would have bought one if I didn’t worried about ruining my dinner appetite. They have a variety of snacks and fruit to fill up the mini fridge. Don’t forget to pickup water and a six pack while you are there.

Lovely quick shop store if you are living upstairs in Skyhouse. Fresh and nice supplies. I wish they had herbs as well (cilantro!)

Their wraps are to die for. I love them (Especially the Sweet Potato wrap). Also love their grilled cheese - it is superb. I would always have it along with their habanero sauce.

Always a pleasure stopping in here. The employees are knowledgeable and customer service is on point! The selection of products is fantastic, and the food is top notch! They put a lot of thought and effort into the food they make in house, using fresh quality ingredients. I'm currently working my way through their hot menu and the sandwiches and salads in the grab and go. My favorite hot selection is the Cuban sandwich, all I can say is YUM! And I'm absolutely addicted to the ATX salad from the grab and go! No stop here would be complete without a slice of pie from Baked and Boozy!! OMG best pies in the freaking universe! Do yourself a favor and try these pies! You won't regret it!

Always a quick go to. The staff are happy and amazing! I didn't know I was a "regular" at 4 stores in the area. Always greeted with a "Hey Lyons, the usual?". Fantastic!

2nd time coming to get the great goodies that you can find there. My favorites sandwiches, cold teas, japanese BBQ sauce, Algo Dulce flan so delicious, sour cream potatoes chips, also this a location my son Jean Paul sells his organic candles handmade(Gojema). I have been with him in other locations and they all have great quality products. Thanks Royal Blue.

The staff at this location is amazing, especially those who work late night and have to deal with belligerent (in the true sense of the word) drunks pouring in off Rainey Street.

This is one of my favorite Royal Blues! Always parking eight in front, Caroline is always smiling even when the fridges stopped working... ;) Great selection of products and constantly innovating. Love to have this at Rainey!!!

Can we PLEASE get the banana pudding back in exchange for this nice review? I’m convinced the only thing powerful enough to get us through the rest of 2020 is that delicious 8 oz carton of banana/nilla heaven.

Walked in without a facemask and the owner asked me to leave. He grabbed the 2 items that I needed and brought them to me. He then didn’t let me pay.
This place sets the bar for a friendly shop around the corner. Wish I could give it 6 stars

What a magical place. You want a steak? They got that. Cup of Stumptown coffee? They got that. Top notch canned tomatoes? Yup. Got it. Crazy. Super nice staff and it's always very clean and organized.

Kind of pricey, but lots of tasty food/drink options. Definitely more than your average convenience store. Be sure to get there early on the weekend for Taco Deli tacos.

My daughter, husband and I took a short electric scooter ride from ladybird lake to this store. This place is a little oasis in downtown Austin! They have wine, gourmet sandwiches, all kinds of beverages, and they sell east side pies(pizza)!
