Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center

This Goodwill location is HUGE amd CLEAN! I'm not sure if it's brand new, but I've (unapologetically) been to Goodwill stores in 10 different states (i travel a lot for work) and this is probably the nicest Goodwill I've been to so far. It doesn't smell like a typical thrift store, the hangers all look new and aren't broken, the inventory is good, and they have the largest section of men's clothing I've seen so far. Employees are also super kind and helpful. I will say my only real gripe is the pricing is a little expensive compared to other Goodwill locations I've been to.

This is the closest Goodwill to where I live, and has always been a dissappointment to me.

Finally, a breath of fresh air…! The store has a new Manager, male with dark hair and beard (should have gotten his name). I had a return, and he was very pleasant and cheerful! (Unlike most employees there). Then, I returned a few days later, and was astounded by the organization and yes, cleanliness of the store! I also noticed a person who may have been unhirable elsewhere, sweeping the floor, and retrieving carts. Great job!

So, I do have a few suggestions. The outside of the store has always been strewn with trash, tags and especially cigarette butts. A daily 5 minute cleanup of this area would do well to improve the image.

Items being on the floor below the racks have always been a problem, so, an hourly run through would be helpful. Additionally using a method from other stores, in which rubber bands secure linens, etc. on the culprit hangers (slide on/off) would certainly help.

Also, a marking on the tag of bed sheets and comforters and dust ruffles indicating the mattress size would be extremely helpful and increase sales of those items (done at other locations).

Last, an idea I have had for sometime: so very often, people pick up an item, then later decide against it… thus they “plunk” it! My suggestion is to have several “plunk places” which would be half-moon (or arced) tables at the ends of a few aisles. On the employee run- thru for items on floor, they can retrieve these items and return them to their rightful spot. I even saw a table near the ramp in the furniture section that could be perfect to give it a try. Additionally, this would fail miserably if patrons were unaware. So, several large signs advertising this new plan would be essential to its success. Additionally, communication with entering and leaving patrons could help to make people aware, and feel connected! Perhaps a note given out at the register (stapled to rect, so doesn’t end up in parking lot) would encourage participation.

Sorry for the very long “review” but I see a new hope for this store with this new manager!

It's a little bit smaller than some of the other Goodwill's but I've always found a better selection of HomeGoods here for some reason. The staff were very helpful even on the sale day when it was busy. I didn't even have to wait in line they had enough checkout clerks to accommodate all of us that's why it's a five-star for me

They always have super awesome China and different odds and ends and all types of fun things I really love this Goodwill it's one of my top 10 favorites.

The staff here are AWESOME! Very helpful and hard-working. I bought a HUGE TV (at a great price, by the way), and the guys there brought it out and helped me load it. They were energetic and eager to help. It was 108° at around 4pm. Gross. Again, they were awesome.

Love this goodwill! However against the Hustlers Code•Of•The•"Come▪Up" this may be.... this is the BEST spot for designer purses missed by the staff and marked as $7.99 or less.... one day I gotta Matc Jacob's vintage leather handbag 《$180 resale value, $360 new...) $9.99!! Another day I got 4 (yeah 4! ) Coach purses for under $30 TOTAL!! ALWAYS a great shopping day at this location!!

Why I drive 20 minutes to go to this goodwill:
-The staff is friendly.
-The store is usually clean and organized.
-Prices are low here compared to the goodwills in Tempe, Mesa and Phoenix.
-The rich people in the area usually donate really good stuff to this location lol

Wow, we just had one of the most successful Goodwill trips ever. There was actually a lot of good costumes, and great clothes that we picked up today. This is one of the larger Goodwill locations that I have seen.

Checking out the daily deals ... The advertisements for the place is right ... I am never sure what I will buy .... Clean store .... Friendly staff.

I am a thrift shopper and this is the best Goodwill Ever!! The have high end items at great prices:) Definitely go there!!!! There is only one staff member there that’s kinda rude but everyone else is nice :):):) Regardless I will always go there..

I found everything I was looking for in clothes! I had to avoid the massive collection of books because I would have left with at least 20. Happy hunting 👍🏼

Stumbled upon this location last week, so happy I did, I left there with a full cart, so much goodness!
Will return to this location. Pricing was decent.

Well run shop. Has that classic "goodwill smell," a large selection of ladies and childrens clothing, glassware, pots, pans, kitchen items, new mattresses, small furniture, limited electronics and sporting items, but pre-seasonal goods galore (Christmas in July).
Very friendly and helpful staff, always willing to help unload donations. They put the "Good" in Goodwill!

One of the better thrift shops in the Valley. Oddly laid out space, cramped aisles, totally out of the way - all that said, still worth visiting! And if you're after golf clubs, this place is for you!

this is my favorite Goodwill and all of the valley. I have Furnish my home from the store. The staff is exceptionally friendly and they know me by name. I go every Tuesday. I love love love this Goodwill.

Great goodwill, one of my favorites large selection of a variety of items from a variety of income levels and ethnicities. As perfect as a Goodwill gets, a melting pot of used goods.

Great selection and because the bus doesn't run there all the good clothes are untouched. I got true religion jeans for $8.99 lol

This is the best goodwill in the valley. You will find deals at this location that you will not find at other Goodwills!
