Apna Bazar

I’ve been going to Apna Bazar since their last location and they keep improving and growing each time I go. They have very unique items and their staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable with any questions you may have. They even work with a local farm and have impressive organic produce and products you can’t find in places like Whole Foods like fermented turmeric honey, ginger honey, spouted grains and vegetable powders, and black turmeric bottled and fresh (which after some research I found to be extremely rare and good for your health). I also really like their sweet potatoes 🍠 they are the perfect size for a quick snack. I ate after shopping and I was super impressed with this specialty ice cream. My god, you have to try it! It’s small but very satisfying and delicious to say the least. The bathrooms were clean, private, and luxurious as well. There is always something new when I come. Thank you Apna Bazar for making grocery shopping exciting for me.

Each aisle is packed with every ingredient you could possibly need to create an international meal. From Halal meat to a full aisle of spices and fresh pita bread. You will walk away with your heads in the clouds from the plethora of options.

This is a great place to go to. The store has a multitude of foods from the Middle East and also from India. It's a wonderful place to explore. You can ask the owner questions about anything and he will help you.
After shopping, we had a few desserts and coffee at Istanbul Grill and Bakery. It was so delicious. I highly recommend the cheesecake and the Turkish coffee. Absolutely amazing!

A fun place to visit. This market has a wide variety of ethnic goods and foods. The food here is also delicious.

New to the Jacksonville area. Had no intention on release staying here. This supermarket has changed everything for me. Reminds me of being in Ireland. The food court and the grocery store immaculately clean. Everything looked amazing. Bought groceries this time, but will buy ready-made food next time.

Internacional food for very good prices, clean place, nice people; variety of foods and juices that you can eat there, I recommend.

The place has a grocery shop and other stores and restaurants that serve Muslim communities and others as well.

Clean and well maintained.

Large store with Indian, Pakistani and Middle Eastern breads, spices, dessert, produce, frozen food and meat. They have fresh baklawa, a butcher and a fairly large meat section, and some Indian/ Middle Eastern/ Moroccan utensils(tagins) too.

I recently visited Apna Bazar Market, and the diverse range of products impressed me. From fresh produce to unique spices, it's a haven for those seeking authentic flavors. The staff was helpful, making my shopping experience enjoyable.

It is a big store and has tons of Mediterranean food, teas and cooking ingredients. It has tasty Indian snacks too. I am surprised to see how clean and spacious inside. Food court outside is busy and looks so inviting. Happy to be there. Will return for sure 😃

I visited Apna in search of 2 spices used in Indian cuisine and found both of them. I enjoyed my conversations with familiar people I met unexpectedly during my visit. I would add that the clientelle are friendly and helpful, too. It was a great experience and I highly recommend this merchant and his business! 👍

Wide selection of food’s from many different regions of the world. Friendly and welcoming staff. The team is always helpful and courteous! The e store is clean and the items are well displayed Any spices or herbs and ingredients you need for that special dish, this the place to find them.

Very nice, big new place, everything is fresh and new. you can find a variety of options from all over the world, especially persian products, indian and turkish ...
there is a gold shop, a turkish restaurant, indian caffe, and a barber shop in the same place.
basically, Apna bazar is not just a market. It's a small shopping mall now with different businesses in it.

My boyfriend took me to this market. When you first walk into the building; you are literally transported to another country such as India or the Muslim World. It is a wonderful experience. The young female cashier at the Istanbul restaurant had a very bad attitude for some unknown reason. My boyfriend even said, “why don’t you try to smile.” But, we didn’t let her childish behavior ruin our experience there. The food was amazing. We will both be back soon. 🙏

Excellent Indian and pan-South Asian/Middle Eastern store! The new location is absolutely huge and contains a food court with a great Turkish restaurant and also an Indian restaurant (but I've only tried sweets from the latter, which were good). There's also a ladies' clothing store, a barber shop, and more in the mall area. Then there's the main grocery store which is massive and very well stocked. The main thing however to understand here is that in the grocery, everything is grouped by nation/culture, so in example you'll find Indian teas . . . but Pakistani teas are elsewhere . . . and Persian teas somewhere else. Same with pickles, same even with syrups. They have Moroccan syrups by Tayeb which are excellent but those are in the Moroccan section, not with the other syrups. You have to really hunt around for things but it starts to make sense once you've been here a few times.

Highlights: Their selection of drink syrups, the variety of teas, the cakes and sweets from the Istanbul Turkish restaurant plus their kebabs, the samosas for sale at the front of the grocery. The only things I wouldn't buy here would be their scant Eastern Euro section because we have several very good Eastern European stores in Jax with better selection—everything else, this is the place to go!

I've been coming to this business for years. Now they have a bigger location with restaurants, afghan bread shop, clothes, barber shop, etc. The meat is halal and fresh, they have lamb, chicken, beef, turkey sausages, etc. I also got some bread tonight at the afghan shop,the bread just came out the oven and was fresh and steamy. So good!

The BEST Indian grocery store in the region. Clean, safe, well lit. Very friendly and professional
