Flying Iguana Taqueria & Tequila Bar

A pleasurable and relaxing dining experience on my first visit ever to the Flying Iguana Taqueria restaurant. Despite the cold, rainy and windy weather on this Saturday night visit near the beach I was able to warm up inside the coziness of the dining room. The interior is large and spacious. Overall service by the entire staff was superbly wonderful. Friendly, courteous and professional management and staff. Shoutout to my server, Mr. Palmer for making this visit awesome!

My fav Athletic Brewing NA beer was on hand. In enjoyed the refreshing drink along with the deliciously fresh guacamole and chips. Ordered the Peruvian whole chicken that came with four sides. Chicken was baked to perfection and was juicy and tasty. Lucky to take home leftovers to also enjoy. Looking forward to my next visit soon and treat myself again!

Great food, service and atmosphere! It was quite busy and had a 30-45 minute wait time, however there was plenty of seating at the bar to grab a drink while I waited. The bar tender, hostess, manager and server were all very kind and helpful! The chips and guacamole is a must have & everyone seemed to rave about the steak tacos! I had to park down the street but it was not a bad walk on a pleasant Saturday night!

Great food. Little on the pricey side for lunch but so worth it. The staff is super friendly as well. I had the mexican cheesesteak for lunch and it was very good.

This is my go to for Mexican! The Tacos are so yummy and they make Guacamole table side, yep, a must do!! If you are a fan of jalapeño margaritas like me, they make the best Margaritas. I’d say they stand out amongst the rest. They have outside seating and inside seating. The Square (town-center ) but us locals have always called it the square. It has some great after dinner hang out options to make it a nice extended date night! Maybe grab ice at Mayday around the corner after dinner.

I have never experienced so many flavors from a taco! Absolutely delicious and a pretty good price. The antioxidant cocktail was really good too. Everything you order here will be very complex and delicious! Waitress was very nice and accommodating. I got the shrimp taco, chicken taco and steak taco. Steak was a little too spicy and salty but overall this place rules 5/5

We came to this restaurant after a long drive and were just looking for some quick eats. I was not expecting to eat one of the most delicious dishes I've ever had, but I think I would return to this Florida beach solely for this food. I had a chicken bowl - rice, beans, shredded chicken, and toppings, and it had the most amazing seasoning, flavor, and texture. A fairly basic dish, but everything was cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection.
Alejandro was friendly, knowledgeable, and happily understood my gluten allergy and asked the kitchen staff to change their gloves and wipe down the equipment on my behalf.
If we're ever in the area again, I'd come back in a heartbeat!

Great service and amazing food. First we had the chips with salsa that they bring everyone. Then I had a steak and a chicken taco. They were fantastic! My sister really enjoyed a pork belly one and a steak one as well. We shared the cream-stuffed churros for desert. Quick and easy.

We were super impressed with this place. The nachos and salsa were probably the best I've had, I know it's just nachos but for real, these were amazing. We both had tacos. The waitress kindly pointed out that the peppers on mine were hot and offered to put them on the side. Oh and the Brussels sprouts... Wow. Just go try this place out!

An overall amazing experience! The food was absolutely amazing! I got the steak tacos and they had to be some of the best tacos I’ve had. The waitress we had was also very nice and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean as well as the tables. I definitely recommend and it is one of my new favorite places to get a taco. Also, the chips and Queso were very great. An overall great Mexican restaurant!

Yep 5 stars all the way, starting with our super awesome server Angelina. Our choices were the tacos and soup. Great choices and delicious. Add to your list to visit.

We stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant greeter was super friendly and helped get our group get seated at an outdoor table under some nicely decorated palm trees. We all ended up ordering almost all of their tacos and had delicious margaritas. Abby was amazing! She was patient taking our orders and extremely helpful answering our questions. Would definitely come back here again!

Wonderfull place, kindly personal, delicious food and varied drinks.
We try Pisco Sour (from Chile), caipirinha (from Brasil) and 904 (tequila, peer puree, lemon and...I don't remember 🤣, but everything was great!!!

Definitely recommend! The food and drinks are great and the experience was really nice overall. Busy but staff was great and we loved the fresh Guacamole made at the table. Will definitely be back to the establishment. Nice location walk to the beach after to cap a great evening off. lol

The BEST Mexican restaurant! I talked to Kenya, the bartender, and let her know that I was allergic to limes. She made a delicious Paloma cocktail for me.
Kenya and Alissa were very professional, attentive, knowledgeable and delightful.
I had two of the BEST tacos.
The meat and potato, and the blackened shrimp with mango salsa 😋 both were delicious. They also have one of the tastiest quesos. Very good experience. I will definitely be back 🥰

Food was great but the thing that really shined was the service. The entire staff was amazing and made our meal a true pleasure.

Great food and location. Parking can be a bit tricky, which can make it a bit difficult to get to the restaurant.

They do tableside guacamole that comes out very fresh and good. They also bring chips and salsa with a green tomatillo sauce and a smoky red sauce and both had great flavor without a ton of spice. They have a wide variety of tacos, including seafood, pork, chicken, and beef options, along with some soups and salads. I had a Mahi Mahi catch of the day taco, a carnitas taco, and the junkyard taco, and all were very good.

Overall I really enjoyed the food and experience and highly recommend trying!

I love this place. It's my go-to place for tacos and a beer. The junkyard taco and the dirty south are my favorites. They offer two different types of salsa but I think they could improve on their chip quality. It's hit or miss. Their adult beverage selection is spectacular, especially if you're a beer or tequila drinker.

Always a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The staff is always friendly, accomodating, and attentive. The tacos here speak for themselves, but if you are a guacamole fan, you must try the tableside guac. Made fresh and to order while you watch. Even if you don't normaly like guac, you must try this. We ordered the queso with green peppers and onion also.

Wonderful visit at Neptune Beach. I had the red snapper and my wife enjoyed some crab cakes. The drinks were amazing as well. Thank you!

Nice inviting place to enjoy a Mexican meal. We arrived after dinner hour but they offered a menu for late night. We had the chicken quesadillas and they were delicious. Chips and 2 salsa's were complimentary. Service was awesome!!
