Very cozy place. It was kind of slow due to time of year but the food. You have the option of eating upstairs or downstairs which was nice. I tried the alligator tail which was yummy and not chewy, had the lobster bisque which was delish! My husband had the grouper sandwich and the fish portion as huge! Service was friendly and attentive which was nice.

Service here was great! Atmosphere was unique, the first level in line with the parking lot so it was an appealing. However, we were offered to sit “upstairs” and it was just the most perfect beach side vibe we were looking for! so if you visit, definitely asked to sit upstairs! They had a pineapple hard cider on tap, and it was completely heavenly! Our waitress was so nice! And the Keylime pie was the best I’ve literally ever had! I would go back simply for the Keylime pie!!

Wonderful service along with accommodation for seafood allergies! Also nice enough to give us a military discount for my grandpa. Wonderful setting, right on the beach for that sea breeze and some fresh fish. Had grouper for my first time here, and it was fantastic, they did slip on my grandma's shrimp order, but fixed it right up and even asked if we wanted to keep the other shrimp. Great staff, great food, keep up the great work! :)

Jackie, our server was just a wonderful person full of smiles and very helpful and fast moving. First floor was a fish market full of different types of fish you could buy. Also, they have a sitting area outside where you can sit down and have your food. For the second floor of the stairs was the sitting patio but lots of windows, a lot of air, grade atmosphere, and the bar. We service on the second floor and we loved the food there. Virginia oysters were good. We had some fish fingers which were huge and delicious, we had some shrimp quesadillas. They were delicious. Also they’re baked potato was great. The crab bisque soup was so good. Everything was amazing. My fish was also grade I had the fried fish! Overall experience was great! Nice tall tables very big and cozy. We are just here for a day in Jacksonville but loved a nice dinner and will definitely come back to this very homie place. Also, parking right in their lot, free and enough.

I am new to Florida and went here to experience Florida Seafood. I ordered their pull and peal shrimp and crakes. Everything was very good, and the waitress was very nice. I ate upstairs, and the only complaint I had was that the area I sat in was very dark, and I had to use my cellphone to see the menu. I could have sat in a better lit area in the upstairs dining area, but I wanted to be close to the door with the warm air blowing in. If you go during the day, there are a lot of windows in their upstairs dining area, so its probably well lit. During the night, the upstairs is dimly lit, and that is just part of their atmosphere. I would recommend this place to others. They have a lot of different seafood options and everything I tried was very good!

Amazing as always. Every year, we come down to Jacksonville for my girlfriends birthday from Chattanooga. We always stop here to get seafood and have her birthday dinner. This year, we picked up Mahi and the largest scallops ever, the largest Tim said he ever saw, and we believe him. It had to be an U3 weighing 5.25 oz. Then we went upstairs to have dinner. Great service all around. Had a great dinner and cooked the seafood we picked up on the beach today. This year, we went to point Vedra.

We were heading to the beach and wanted something fairly close. This place popped up and had good ratings so decided to give it a try! The menu looked amazing with a variety of good stuff! We loved everything we had! The fish fingers were amazing, nice and crispy! The corndogs were great and shrimp was fantastic!! Gator tail was delicious and so was the clam chowder!! Definitely would come back here again!

If you're looking for a fantastic seafood restaurant, this place is wonderful. We did not have to wait for a table, our food was hot and delicious. I think our server was tired but she was still very efficient.

GOTTA HAVE THE SHRIMP PO BOY!! Unfortunately it was so good I ate it before I could take a picture!!! Use the remoulade in it - so good. It’s huge, with lots of shrimp, and difficult to eat it’s so big. Be ready with lots of napkins - you’ll need them. Also had the corn nuggets - first time I’ve ever seen powdered sugar on corn nuggets but it added a nice flavor. Restaurant is upstairs and air conditioned - it appears from the outside to just be screened. Staff was great and gave good advice on the menu. Have been here before and certainly will be back again.

This was our first time eating dinner at this restaurant. The food ever thing was great. Our server: Amy W. was great. Talking with some of the workers made you feel like taking to family. Yes we do remind this Beachside Seafood Restaurant a place to take the family to eat.

We stopped here as a family based on some recommendations.

Gonna have to say it’s one of my all time favorite places to eat seafood. Down to earth, delicious, large portions, fresh!

Service was excellent, food and condiments were delicious and we tried a variety of baskets.

We left full, happy and satisfied. There really weren’t any negatives I could find.

The upstairs area was spacious, heated (we came in January) and had an alright view too. No direct beach visibility I’m afraid but that would have just been a perk, certainly not the reason for our visit.

Looks like there is a fish market below for anyone wanting to pick up fresh seafood.

All in all, a really nice visit and we were very pleased! ✌👍

From the moment you come in, you are treated as if you’re the only person there. Friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fresh and made to perfection.

Lobster bisque, New England clam chowder, fish fingers, scallops, shrimp and crab quesadilla, amazing fries and a delicious frozen key lime pie dipped in chocolate.

Too much for us to finish so now we also have dinner!

Hands down one perfect little stop!

This is by far some of the best seafood I have ever put in my mouth! Nothing fancy at this joint; just marvelous hot and tasty food. I have been coming to this place for years and it NEVER disappoints. Enjoy!

Honestly how could you go wrong with such delicious food in such a convenient location? The team is attentive and the food is delicious. Try the fish taco wrap or fish burrito, you won't be disappointed! The range of sauces on the table are great, my personal favorite was the avocado ranch!!

We struggled to get into this place several nights, because it was so busy. It was worth the wait! We loved the food. The 3 women running this establishment were absolutely incredible. They had food and drinks to the whole place and kept everyone happy. My husband was very happy with his choice of the crawfish boil and my mom and I had the 2 different types of seafood quesadillas. They were all outstanding. Great place.

The best seafood we've had so far in Florida! Kala, our server was amazing and very helpful and informative. She took the time to talk us through their many options and was very kind! Will definitely come back again!

We had a delicious meal! We had the peel and eat shrimp and then a basket with fish fingers and shrimp (dry batter). It was delicious and Hayden was a superb waiter!

Had a beach day in Jacksonville and found this place on our way out of town. Food was good, service was nice, and price wasn’t over the top. Would recommend this seemingly classic spot!

The food and service was absolutely AMAZING!!! We arrived less than 30 minutes before closing and had no issues getting fresh hot food and pleasant service like it was the middle of the day!!! I would recommend this place to anyone living or visiting Jacksonville Beach. I had fish bites as an appetizer and main dish was lemon butter Basa with baked potato and salad. The sauces were delicious!!!
