The Shops @ the Sanctuary

It’s an old church tuned into a market with individual booth sellers (imagine flea or farmers market without the seller present and in an indoor retail setting). Many unique items though some were quite expensive others had specials going. There is a café in the basement but we didn’t try it. There is a whole back area and basement so don’t miss those!
The staff was nice and friendly. There’s free coffee and hot cocoa in the back room - my friends really enjoyed that while we shopped! Will remember when I need a unique gift.

I Loved everything about this business . If you haven't been here Mark it on your list to going here. So much to see & purchase, prices are reasonable. It is DEFINITELY a great place to visit in Columbia City, Indiana. It is inside an older, but Sturdy Church. You could spend all day there looking & checking everything out. I am so Thankful for my daughter taking me to this WONDERFUL BUSSINESS !!

The Shops @ the Sanctuary is an absolutely beautiful place! My friend happens to be a wheelchair user and we were stunned with delight that the wheelchair ramp in the back was useable and that the door was unlocked! That seems simple but it made us feel like valued customers! Additionally the booths and all the items were evenly spread out so my freinds wheelchair could pass through! So many shops with the same concept is in mo way, shape, or form welcoming to individuals with mobility aids! Yeah, we were not able to acess the lower level but that didn't matter to us, the compassion of the owners and the drive to ensure everyone is welcomed is good enough for us! Plus, we found some area items on the first floor and were so excited for what we found! Keep up the amazing work, Shops @ the Sanctuary!

Very nice antique shop with many unusual items. The prices were very reasonable.

The cutest! I wouldn't have realized this was here if someone hadn't shown it to me. It looks like a cute little circular church, but it is actually a little cafe downstairs and little antique/knick-knack shops on top. The cafe was closed when I was there, but the little shops are great. At least stop in to see the beautiful stained glass windows; from the outside you can't see how beautiful and bright they are. I bought several Xmas gnomes on sale to add to my Xmas gnome collection. Definitely check this cute spot out. :)

This has to be the coolest antique shop I've ever been to! The idea behind these shops in an old church building is beyond cool. There is so much variety with vendors and shoppable items, it's fun to look around; I linger for the sheer vibe of the place sometimes too! There's a lot of affordable items ranging from home items, clothes, trinkets, to plants and even one of a kind liquor dispensers! Oh, and the little Cafe downstairs is great eating!! 10/10 would recommend The Shops @ the Sanctuary!

What an amazing place! So many different vendors yet they mesh so well together. Everyone was so helpful and informative! Love this place and plan on making it a regular stop on my shopping list!!

Worth the drive. An old church turned into a craft, gift, antique mall. The stained glass windows are so beautiful. Great way to pass an afternoon.
