My first time in the store. I enjoyed being there. Omg they sell so many little things. I spent time trying to identify some stuff because majority of the information on the products is on Japanese.

I saw stuff for office, home, makeup, candies, etc.

Very well organized!

The parking lot is not too big. I would say during busy days can get an issue.

Service was good. The people at the cashiers were nice.

On my next trip to Hawaii, I will return.

Heard so much online and soo glad to be able to find this store. Parking is limited, when full your car is form one single line to wait for someone leaves. We waited for about 15 minutes for someone to come out to park, you'll need your patience. Once you get in there are so much to shop, from storage, kitchen, bathroom, outdoor to travel they have all. Everything is well priced, there are signs for the currency conversion so you'll know price of the items marked. If nothing is marked then you pay $1.75 per item. It is a great place to shop, will definitely return to get items.

I couldn't use my JCB card, so I paid in cash. The Honolulu eco bags and Mickey & Minnie Honolulu towels were so cute.

This is the closest thing to a dollar store on Oahu. They have a huge variety of needs, from personal care to household needs. Baby needs to simple home care. Parking is scarce, but the lot is attended and it is worth waiting to get in. I took the bus from Waikiki, so parking was not an issue for me.

I love Daiso so much! This location doesn't have a lot of parking so it can be a little stressful if you're pressed for time. There are so many cute items and they're constantly adding new merchandise. It's all sales final BUT if you think you might like something, I'd recommend just buying it. Most items are $1.50 but there are other items marked higher. There's a little bit of everything, home decorations, snacks, beauty, accessories, office supplies. That's not even half of the categories they carry. Overall, a wonderful shopping experience.

This store has a little bit of everything- things you need, stuff you love, and things you never knew you wanted (or that they even existed) until now! Most items are $1.75, unless otherwise listed. There are helpful signs posted all over the shop that explain what the other price codes mean. There are large selections in the storage container, kitchen and garden, school/office supplies, and art/craft items, as well as numerous others (waaay too many to list here). This is the largest of the Daiso stores in the area, with Pearl City running a close second, and seems to have a broader selection of kids crafts and toys/games than the others.

One major drawback for this store is the parking situation. It's a small, oddly shaped lot on the corner of Piikoi and Young, with a one-way circle, with diagonal parking only. I'm pretty sure it's marked for nose-in only parking, but there always seems to be "that driver" that HAS to back in for no good reason, holding up traffic. And ye, InkeN traffic. The lot has an attendant that ensures that not too many people are in the circle at a time, which means that those waiting to park are stuck out on the road, holding up the cross traffic. My advice is to try and find on-street parking, or free spots in other lots, nearby and walk over.

Thank you for completing my novella on Daiso, for further reading, check out some of my other overly-detailed reviews by clicking my name at the top of the box. That's spelled Liyana with an y (y? because why not?) 😘

My favorite Daiso.....welcome to Hawaii!!! Parking space is pretty limited but I think this is good to prevent more customers inside the store. If parking is huge, it will be huge crowd and chaos in the store. Yes, my wait time to park a car was about 5 minutes but shopping was comfortable with not too many people. The more time you spend there, the more interesting items you will find!!!

Found things I've been searching for at an awesome price!!! Long cooking chopsticks, oil absorbing cooking paper, and especially oil absorbing pads. For those days when you cook meat soup and hate to scoop out the oil. I'll definitely be back!

I love shopping/browsing at Daiso! Just went to the Pearl City one yesterday and came to check out this one on Piikoi/Young Street. This one has some different items from the Pearl City store and it seems like there's more snacks. They also have more items in stock...especially in the stationery and craft sections.

Be aware that parking is very limited and they have outsourced parking attendants...one whom is rude. Other than that, the Daiso employees are nice and helpful. Also, the lines were not as crazy long as the Pearl City lines. The shorter lines do move quickly and so the wait is waaay shorter. Rude parking attendant or not, I will be back!

Cool stores! Some items are not worth $1.5. Don’t buy absolutely everything from here. I like their kitchen appliances and cute decorations from Japan. Some of the items I got were heat sealer, chopstick case, stainless steel soap, and solar powered dancing sumo figure.

Very small parking lot which you'll have to wait for a spot if you can't find street parking. Almost everything is literally $1.5. I wish there was a Daiso on the east coast. Employees are very nice. You are not allowed to bring in backpacks, but their backpacks are only $4 and their inventory changes.

Love this spot - small but they have a few items for home, school, kitchen, garden, closet organizing and home repair, even some artificial flowers to a spruce up a corner of your home.

Oh, also a few accessories, scrapbooking and baby items, too.

Trying to KonMari my life and I still walk out with distractions. But they do "Spark Joy". My wallet, maybe not so much as $1.50 finds can add up. I do love Daiso! Staff is always friendly!

Scored an awesome spot just as I pulled in to park. Love and hate the place. I go in thinking I need this, that, and the other. Come out with stuff I didn't even know existed... keeping my chompers clean!

Love this store! Always new things on various occasions. Right now, my big go to purchases are from their Disney section and their Sakura theme items. So many items to choose from at a reasonable price! Downside: if you see something and think you'll buy it later in the week, think again! They probably won't have it in stock after a few days. With a high turnover of new products that come in, it helps keeps their inventory interesting and unpredictable so you feel like you have to go back regularly to check out what they have next. Check it out!
