One of the great things about this Safeway is “Hawaii DMV Now Kiosk” which is a fast and easy self-service to renew your vehicle registration for 24/7. They have also a coin star machine! This safeway is one of the most beautiful supermarkets in Hawaii!

Clean and organized store with self checkout. This is an urban store with parking on the ground level with the store above the parking.

Largest selection of groceries in any store I've ever seen. Wonderful deli and meat department .. The aisles are enormous . There's a Bank. A Pharmacy and much more. Had lunch and am Happy.. Bravo

With 4 entry/exit points, this 24-hour location is pretty convenient. The store is located above their covered parking lot. There's lots of parking but they also have lots of customers at times so be aware that you can park over by the bank as well. To get upstairs, choose from escalators, elevators or the stairway that leads to a nicely covered mezzanine that's used as a well-used outdoor eating pavilion. Nice touch.

This location has the standard supermarket departments such as a Deli, Bakery, meat, Seafood, produce, Floral, pharmacy, customer service departments and then some! They're starting to have a pretty good selection of organic foods and I love their hot chicken wing bar! Flavors offered are usually vinegar and salt, spicy, fried and teriyaki wings. Lately, they're offering wings for $5/lb with a minimum 2 pound purchase.

They also have a downgraded (they used to have 4 soup options but now they only offer two) soup bar; a small, portable, self-serve mochi ice cream station and a full olive bar. Their made-to-order sandwich station allows for ingredient substitutions of their menu items so one can get some really hot, tasty sandwiches there! Sushi is also made fresh on site but be forewarned, it's of the fast food variety.

The produce section offers a pretty good variety of choices, from a good-sized organic section to dried fruits/candies/tea/grain bins.

The store is normally clean, and service is friendly, whether it's at the seafood department or a cashier, although it's sometimes difficult to find an employee to speak with. There is usually a noon-time crowd so go earlier or later if you're pressed for time.

I love Shopping at Safeway! It's not cluttered with small isles but spacious enough to stroll and get a good look at everything that Safeway has to offer, which is a lot. I love their fresh bakery items as well as their 3 for $15 fruit bowls which I think are a super awesome deal. I do wish that the Safeway on Beratania would open back up their Lanai seating area. Be nice to sit and enjoy a Starbucks coffee that they also offer in their store. I'm sure they must have their reasons though, just seems to be such a waste of space that it's closed off to their customers. Anyway awesome job Safeway! Keep up the great work!!

I’ve been using this Location even though the Pali location is closer bc of friendly Staff & much larger selections, especially in the meat & seafood departments.

Undisputed number one in quality service ambient and assortment of products offered.
Get your local members only card and start saving in store and online.
Prices went up again look for specials weekly.
Open 24/7 plenty of parking, would suggest to go after hours.

Safeway ships are the best on the planets and make the best chicken tenders, and the clerks are awesome friendly and personable. Great place to shop.

Oh! And you can pick out your items online, using the app, and they will shop for you and you just go pick it up. It's so useful.

5 stars for the fact this location stays open 24 hrs. That and the fresh fruit and veggies at this location are probably one of the best in all of Honolulu. Now if they just fix the over priced issue, it would be 1 of the best on the island.

Seems to be whatever I need here at a pretty decent price

This is a very clean store with helpful associates. All the produce were fresh and the meat selection looked fresh, clean and well organized on the displays. Definitely a good shopping experience. Wheelchair accessible and both elevators and escalators were available on the property. Plenty of parking.

Not bad at all it was not too crazy or crowded and it was faster then most places I shop at

1st time to this Safeway I was very impressed, isles labeled easy to find items. Meat selection was fantastic they have local beef. Bakery was very good with different selection s . Store was very airy and clean . Check out line was maybe a 3 to 5 min wait. Parking was fantastic easy

Really love their online service with drive up pick up option. Staff is friendly and they do a good job selecting produce for our orders. We use this service almost weekly.

It's nice to have a solid grocery store in Hawaii that I am familiar with on the mainland. The product offerings are pretty vast and with good variety. The prices are shocking, but that is because I live on the mainland, and in what is probably one of the less expensive West Coast states. A bonus for me is that this market is less than one block from my Airbnb. I have had a Safeway shopper's club account for decades, so it's great to be able to take advantage of club card discounts which make it much easier on my wallet. The store is truly immaculate and clean, and everyone is friendly.

They are now open 24 hours.. what a treat! Especially for people like me who work a graveyard shift. The store is always extremely clean, products placed in an eye catching manner and employees are happy to help and super friendly. Lots of parking and security, which makes me feel better shopping late at night. So many ready made and fresh products.. couldn't ask for anything more!
