Barefoot Beach Cafe @ Queen's Surf Beach

The cafe is located right at the beach and has a beautiful view and vibe for day or evening! they have a large selection of veg and vegan options and we loved it so much that we went to the place twice, once for lunch and then again for dinner. Day time was nice and warm, the pineapple shake is great, the food is great! Evening had a different vibe altogether, string lights, live music and local artists also performing native Hawaiian dance and the cool breeze of the ocean and sound of waves crashing on the shore! It was lovely.

The only down side is that the cafe doesn’t have a restroom of its own. There’s only a beach managed restroom that isn’t very well maintained. But otherwise lovely!

I badly wanted to try a Loco Moco, but it was all Beef and I am so glad I found a vegan option here. We got a Vegan Loco Moco and a Egg Lust sandwich and Passion Fruit smoothie. The food was good , and absolutely loved where this cafe is. It's a great breakfast spot overlooking the ocean! The prices of the food are normal considering it's Hawaii. The next day we stopped by here again just for their Passion fruit smoothie! Both times we went were for breakfast and it was not that crazy crowded. Would have loved to go here for dinner where there is live music.

This was our 2nd visit and they were busy with private function. So there was a crowd in the closest to the beach seats. Regardless, the Fish and Chips, were so good we came back for a second serving. I've already recommended them to several other interested people.
Great view of the surf, delicious food and also really enjoyed the smoothies.

This is an amazing place! All meals are good here, we really like dinner because of the live music and sunset. You can't go wrong with what you order. They often have items that run out though, which they will put on a chalkboard.
There is no alcohol, so BYOB!

Excellent location and food was served with a five star restaurant presentation! Would have loved to have had more meals here but unfortunately we needed to return to our home in the mainland. Highly recommend!

Great service & food@Barefoot! I had the surf & turf & my wife enjoyed the shrimp dinner.

Outdoor dining was delightful & they had a troika/band playing Friday PM who were very good.

We also had great spot to watch fireworks from their patio. Would highly recommend Barefoot 💯

Food, Service, and most importantly when you are here, the atmosphere are all wonderful! Ran short on some items by the time we arrived but that was as fine! People were nice and the views are on the beach! Great place and not crowded with outdoor seating. Highly recommend and will be back!

This place was our favorite place when we visited Oahu. Unfortunately, we only found it on our last day!
The price for food was about the same as most other places on the island for breakfast, but the portions were fairly generous. We had French toast and eggs Benedict. The French toast was fantastic and the eggs Benedict was also quite good. We would have preferred the English muffin be toasted, but otherwise no complaints. Overall we would rate the food four stars (we are picky), but it was the best breakfast we had had on the island.
We ended up going back for dinner since we enjoyed it so much. I had the steak and shrimp as pictured. The rice was a bit dry and the shrimp were not peeled (which I prefer), but the steak and shrimp were both seasoned very nicely and tasted great. My wife had the poke bowl which was also quite good. The dole whip was the best we've had.
As far as the ambiance, the place is right on the beach and the views are lovely. We didn't stay late enough to experience any live music. From what I understand they have live music every night.
Overall we would rate this place five stars. The food is quite good despite not being perfect, and it is beautifully displayed on the plate. We enjoyed the open air with ocean views. We would definitely recommend this place.

Wow! What an amazing place. The food was the best. Pricing was more than fair and the atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend Barefoot Beach Cafe. I wish we had something like this where I live.

The first time I ate here was truly magical! The shrimp was out of this world delicious, got the lava drink and there was live music playing. To top it off this gem is right by the beach. Paradise! During the day I returned and got the chicken bbq sandwich which was also delicious.

The food is phenomenal! We got Spicy garlic fish and the fish of the day was a sword fish and it was amazing. The sword fish is literally a filet mignon of the ocean. Don’t forget to order Pineapple smoothie! Will be returning to this restaurant for sure.

Five stars across-the-board for this little hideaway café! I had to come back a second day for the Hawaiian barbecue chicken plate, and for $15 it is the best value on Waikiki Beach! So tasty, the service is fast, the atmosphere is fantastic with Hawaiian music playing as you watch surfers on Waikiki Beach.

Had a beautiful brunch looking back towards Honolulu. We enjoyed an Omelette, Hash Potatoes, Acai Bowl and an awesome fresh Pineapple smoothie in a real Pineapple. Easy stroll down from the strip with plenty of scenic opportunities for photos.

One of our favorite places we ate in Oahu. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was so “Hawaiian” right on the beach, outdoor eating, live Hawaiian music playing. Found a gold mine on our last night here.

Beautiful location overlooking Waikiki Beach. The fruit is crazy fresh and the presentation of their food is beautiful. I did note our omelettes were a bit salty, but otherwise everything was excellent.

Right by the water, so nice views. The food presentation was nice. Omelet was filling and good. There is plenty of free street parking during the week.

Absolutely amazing. One of my favorites in Waikiki. Drink from a pineapple, eat, burgers, steak, tacos, breakfast. It was all good. I must've gone back here half a dozen times in a month

This is one of the best kept secrets in Honolulu. It's a lovely open air restaurant on the beach off the beaten path of Waikiki without the hustle and bustle of a ton of people. Loved it so much we ate there 7 times for lunch and dinner over the week and a half we were there. Great food, very reasonable prices, no alcohol. Live music every night with Hawaiian dance lessons on Monday nights. The proprietor, Randy, is awesome. He let us get a pineapple to take home to our grandson and they don't normally sell them whole. Also treated us to some delicious cheesecake for our 50th. The evening sunsets were incredible and we highly recommend it. Thanks Randy.

Great spot. Good food. Excellent live Hawaiian music on Monday nights. The vibe is superb, the night we were there, the band was really good and one of the customers started dancing the hula. The night ended with hula lessons for everyone. What a great experience!!

A real hidden gem of a cafe that seems popular with the locals - great food, ocean views, and nice relaxing atmosphere.
