Tom Thumb

Tom Thumb is my favorite local grocery store. They have a good variety of products. I feel like their prices are reasonable.
Their employees are all super friendly. Maria in the deli was very helpful and went out of her way to help me. I really appreciated it!

I’m SO grateful for the staff at this store! I left my cell phone on a grocery cart on Saturday night with my drivers license and credit card in the back of it - I went back to store 20 minutes later and the manager had it at customer service desk! Thank you to all the honest hard working folks at Tom Thumb Mockingbird!

Love their plant selection out front. (Pictured a few pictures) They have more than just a decent selection of non dairy options for me, but it’s not too expensive. Good prices on meat, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. Clean store, staff wears masks and by the entrance they offer hand sanitizer for anyone who wants to wipe down their cart (I’m not 100% if they do themselves, so I always do at any store during this lengthy COVID season. 10/10 will continue to shop here!

Went at 6 am Sunday and the self-checkout lady was really sweet, I will be back.

Tom thumb on mockingbird lane has a ton of great deals excellent produce wonderful selection of meats. I was there today in the produce but the employees were not at all friendly they were hard-working putting up produce but did not even look up once to acknowledge my presence. The Hispanic cashier was super friendly as well as beautiful she is a plus to the store with her great customer service skills and her friendly attitude. It's now easier to get the membership discount all you have to do is put in your phone number at the checkout you no longer need a little tab on your keychain.

I love Tom Thumb for some items....but the prices are higher than other places I shop. Their meat dept is about all I go there for.

Nice grocery store with curbside pick up and very safe inside in light of the current coronavirus pandemic. There are also a lot of other useful stores in the same strip center, such as Boston market, a nail bar and spa, a postal center, a haircut place, a physical therapy place, a dentist, the cleaner, and H&R Block, and a Starbucks. Great place to get pretty much all of your shopping done. Be sure to get one of the Tom Thumb cards, though, is it comes with big discounts!

A great local hangout for food. Ask for Mrs. Johnson. She’s been my guardian angel many times.

This is my favorite grocery store to go to. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh and prepared well, the bakery is always full of surprises and the deli is the best of any Tom Thumb I've been to. I used to work for Tom Thimb and I really see a lot of good qualities in this store. There is that one lady that works up front who just hates me and won't say hi or respond when I ask her how she is doing but I don't think it has anything to with me. Besides her (she works mid-mornings) everyone else is really nice and helpful.

Edit: I still love this store but why did you redesign the deli? And why did you get rid of the 50% of nearly expired deli products? I know how much food you guys throw away. I don't know why you would take that part of the deli away so you can sell stuffed mushrooms and stuff. You're still my favorite grocery store but please bring back the discount deli selection. I don't like how you rearranged it

Edit 2: I love this grocery store so much. I think it's my favorite in the world no joke. The employees are the best people ever and their prices are quite reasonable. The new deli is actually really cool, it just took some time for me to adjust to it.

It was good to shop here again. I found items that I hadn't been able to find. Found steaks for reasonable prices. Finished Thankgiving shopping.👍

Their floral department is really great! I got 3 small arrangements for a party and everyone was commenting on how pretty they were all night. I walked in and placed my order at the counter with a young lady, and the floral manager called me the day before pick up to make sure she was arranging what I wanted. Great customer service!

So impressed! I love my Lakewood neighborhood Tom Thumb. Safest grocery I’ve visited since pandemic started. Only one entrance open so that a security guard is staffed just inside the door, to ensure mask compliance. HUGE signs outside made by a graphic designer depicting masks required. Huge signs blocking the one closed entrance/exit so no one wastes time accidentally approaching it. Press n seal cling wrap on the credit card machine; so smart! Red floor arrows for aisle flow and social distancing. Store is always clean, staff, many who have worked there for years are always INCREDIBLE; someone is always there to bag your groceries. They employ high school and college kids which also makes me so happy. I’ve been a semi-regular shopper here for 12 years. They had isopropyl alcohol in stock which I hadn’t yet been able to find at other stores. Dedicated cart wiper outside. I’ve been to a handful of Tom Thumbs in Dallas over the past 18 years I’ve lived here. Nothing compares to positive vibes and experience of this location on East Mockingbird!!

I am giving Anthony a five star review. I have been using this pharmacy for a year and most employees I speak with seem not helpful and don't really care but. Anthony was knowledgeable and kind. Thank you Anthony!

So clean. I love buying produce at Tom Thumb. Surprisingly, the self check registers were busier than the manned registers. Friendly checkers.

Love this store. The staff is always so helpful.
Just found a 22lb Butterball for next week, the other ones were way bigger.

They do have fresh Butterball turkeys too!

I'm a Kroger shopper but this looks like a great place to shop. Was pleased with the selection and layout of the store. I'm a loyal Kroger shopper but this looks like a good backup.
