Wonderful first time visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the coffee shop had awesome drinks choices. The prices are still pretty high, but they have an extensive Bargain section

Love a book store. It's a good place to get ideas on what to read next. I'm just a bit frugal with paying full price for a book.

This is such a great place to get books, novelty items and games. So many options, every genre, including toys and merch from different movies, music, shows, book fandoms. Nice little cafe on premise with a variety of coffee items as well as tea and juices. great spot to spend an afternoon in browsing.

Good selection. Prices seem fair. I do appreciate having a membership and getting a slight discount. They have an awesome Harry Potter selection and upstairs has so much to offer. I do wish that members didn't have to pay for a shopping bag or that if more than 3 books are purchased at one time, it isn't thrown in at no charge.

Amazing place to see! Love the elevator up to the next floor. Stuff to read and enjoy for all ages and genres!

Great selections of not only books but puzzles and games. Also have plushies and a kids section that full of fun ideas.

Every time I go in there. Staff are polite and very helpful. The store is always great and smells clean and looks clean.

It's always a great experience when we come here. We travel to Bangor pretty frequently for my child's medical appointments, and she asks to stop at BAM everytime, the customer service is always great, and the store truly does have something for everyone. It is a bit pricey, but worth it, plus we save a lot with the membership.

Great book store. Phenomenal selection from nonfiction to manga. Will be moving soon around early April last I heard.

Came in looking for a vegetarian cookbook and found a gigantic one with so so many recipes!! Could’ve spent all day in there looking at the books and game and trinkets

This place has soooo many books, and it is a fun place to visit. The prices are really good. There is a coffee shop inside of it as well, and the drinks are amazing. I got a Pumpkin Spice White Chocolate Mocha, and it was one of the best drinks I've ever had.

Even days before Christmas the store was well stocked, clean and organized. Always my favorite bookstore.

I love this store! It is huge and the staff is soo friendly and helpful! I love getting book recommendations and finding out about events and FB book groups!

Had a ton of variety and the workers are super nice. There are loads of merch for anime/manga and disney

My favorite store to buy a shopping spree of manga:) they have a small shelf for the discounted manga for "bargain books" which are brand new, however i wish they had a wider selection and the first manga in their series (usually they just have books 2 and 3 or 2-8)
They have a wide selection of manga on 2nd floor for full price and have a variety of manga merchandise and large selection of manga with 12 whole shelves full! If you are looking for manga they likely have what you're looking for. They also have a variety of book sets and more, there is also many other books like novels or comic books for young children I'm sure if you visit theres a book for everyone. They have a big variety of bibles as well for religious readers. They also have a savings card that costs $25 a year and it gives you a $5 gift card to start off i believe and you get a bunch of coupons sent to your email for different discount options depending on how much you're spending (if you spend $100 theres a discount for $25) I couldnt believe the money you can save with it. They also have dvds I believe and they have a lot I havent explored yet. TLDR: Great place with a book or cd for everyone with decent discounts, a must stop while visiting bangor:)

They do not always have the book I'm looking for but the staff is always welcoming and helpful. Great place to poke around and find something interesting to read. The front selection is diverse. I particularly like the banned book section.

Fantastic book store with every type of book you can imagine. They also have a lovely cafe inside where you can sit and read one of your new books. They make crazy creative drinks and are known for their Harry Potter themed beverages. One of my favorite places to go in Bangor.
