Better selection and better stocked than the local competitor. Biggest difference is the staff. There are always plenty of staff working so that the store and the customers equally get their full attention. You don't have to sacrifice one for the other (empty shelves but busy cashier) or vice versa. Signs are always posted for sales and there is always nice displays up front highlighting that week/seasons specials. Parking lot could use some TLC in the way of repaving/painting but overall it is a very nice and conveniently located Family Dollar.
