Country House Restaurant

We stopped here for a Sunday lunch. Wow so much good can be said about this place.
We like to fine the mom and pop places. This rates at the top of the list of all the places we have found.
The interior is clean. Nicely decorated and plenty of room.
It has the feel of class yet the small-town cafe where locals gather for food and to socialize with each other.
The service was excellent. Professional yet friendly.
Food was amazing. I had the roasted turkey dinner. It came with bread dressing at the bottom with mashed potatoes turkey and gravy. Trust me, you won't go away hungry.
My wife had the stir fry. Again very good and more than she could eat.
Now about the pumpkin pie. My mama mother in law and wife all make pie. Don't tell my wife I said this but it was just as good or better then hers. It is worth saving room for.
The menu selection amazing. From breakfast to Mexican to Italian to American there are many choices. I suggest asking your server for their favorites.

Great food, great atmosphere and it's an all around quality diner experience. They've got some good people working the floor and some real good cooks whipping up perfection in the back! Never a bad meal ay the country house, they know how to do a diner the right way! Large menu with a bunch of variety. If you get a chance I recommend trying the fajitas from here. 10/10

I've ate here a handful of times. I have never been disappointed with the service, food or prices. Everything I have ordered from here was delicious and always on point. I've never had any order messed up and they have great waitresses. One of my favorite places to go for breakfast with family or friends. The breakfast skillets are always on point and my favorite thing to order.

I'm 62, and this was one of the best breakfast I've ever had. The service was beyond excellent. The food was excellent (we had oatmeal, crepes, and omelet). This is also my first review where someone didn't ask me to do a review it was that good. If you go there, you will not be disappointed.

We needed a SOLID breakfast to bring us back to life & this hit the spot! Coffee was really good, too! The inside is really nice. It's a shame we couldn't experience that - my daughter was asleep in her car seat & we didn't wanna wake her up trying to bring her in. I backed into one of the parking spots out front facing the road & we enjoyed our breakfast & coffee in the SUV. We're from out of town so it was really nice to eat, relax, & watch the local traffic go by & just observe & take in the area. Beautiful sunny fall day, super fun time!!! My wife was very happy with her food. Her & I are big foodies so impressing the both us says a lot! 😁 5/5!!!

Very busy place that accommodated our group of 16. It was my first time to eat there and I see why my friends in the LP area love to meet and eat there. Large selection of food to please everyone's appetite. I had the swiss mushroom burger which was very tasty. Ine if the men had a huge waffle the looked fantastic. The only drawback was,more parking was needed as it seemed to be a day everyone wanted to meet there! Staff was very helpful,friendly ,prompt and aimed to please!

Great prices. Attentive waitress. Delicious chicken dumpling soup. Amazing French fries. Tuna melt was really good. Grandkids enjoyed their pancakes. We were all happy.

Had a custom omelette and it was very tasty and it came with home fries and toast. We were very full afterwards. Our service was excellent and our server was very pleasant and friendly.

Very good restaurant. Friendly staff. Montecarlo chopped steak, with onions, peppers, mushrooms and cheese. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn.

One of our favorite places to eat anytime...breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Good variety of menu selections. Service is always pleasant & attentive. We have tried a big variety of menu items & specials & never disappointed. The restaurant is super clean. A biggy for me. You won't be disappointed.

Our waitress was so nice. My salad was delicious. Grilled chicken, fresh avocado, bacon... We had very good food for a more than reasonable price.

This place doesn’t miss. Best diner in the area. They make killer breakfast food - try the Frittatas, and their all you can eat Walleye deal on Fridays is too good to pass up. Everyone’s super friendly and they make you feel at home. Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given.

The breakfast was perfect! We went out of our way off the interstate to enjoy the home town dinner experience. Definitely worth it!

We took the grandkids here to eat on Saturday, there was no wait, the food was very good, the waitress very nice, and a great place to eat, with large portions!!
