Hy-Vee Grocery Store

Produce is always great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean, stocked and laid out nicely. They have a great meat and deli area. The bakery is great, as well! They have a huge liquor selection, as well. I truly have nothing bad to say about Hy-Vee in Peru!

This place is bonkers great. Food as far as the eye can see. And deals, too! Built in coffee shop and restrooms if you are tired, state-of-the-art self-checkouts if you are in a hurry, a pharmacy if you are sick, flowers if you are sad, and sushi if you are starving. And chopsticks, too! Just passed by on a long drive and decided to stop on a whim. What a big country I live in! Not quite small town America, but nice, really, to stumble upon.

Steak meals were FABULOUS tonight. Hats off to the HyVee staff for grilling outside and keeping the line moving!! By the time I paid it was close to 530 and they had surpassed 300 meals!!!

Wonderful store, when needing to order food for any occasion even if you're out of town they work with family to arrange to receive the order, that's great customer care they go above customer service!

Store is clean quality of food is absolutely wonderful cold food just taste better than Walmart. Meat is higher quality then Walmart or Jewel yes sometimes their prices are high, but keep an eye on their sales that’s what is keeping food in the kitchen right now for everyone basically and yes, they have a couple very good sales all the time

Had a Whalburgers "Our Burger" and added bacon with Tots on the side. Delicious. Better than fast food and not bad on pricing. Will be back for sure!

Just wow! I didn't expect this in the middle of Illinois corn country! This place is so amazing, with such a huge variety! Just wow! I would expect this to be a draw even in downtown Chicago. Worth your time to stop, and really appreciated the Tesla charger!

We went inside to use the restroom while waiting for our supercharger. What a surprise inside, this is an impressive grocery store. There was so much to look at and that we wanted to buy. But, being on the road and in a time crunch, we didn't get much. We just bought a small container of chicken bites from the hot deli counter. We munched on them after we hit the road, and they were delicious. It was a very pleasant surprise on our trip. Thank you!

Man this place is awesome! Whatever you may be looking for they have such a variety it meal planning fun again. The workers are incredibly polite, and helpful not to mention she were in no short supply. If you've never been there you are missing out on a secret club. Go check it out!

Every Friday thru October they have their grand buffet! That's all of their products like fried chicken, Chinese, pizza, salads. They have alot to choose from. Didn't take photos this time.

The best bakery around! The absolute best sourdough bread I have ever had. I am a huge fan of the cranberry-walnut bread as well. The baked goods are made fresh daily.

Hyvee has everything that I could need. And the staff are so nice. They also have good prescription plans too

I love the Peru HyVee. I think they have great produce. I love the food bar for picking up hot food that is ready to eat. Their green onion brats are amazing! Staff is always kind, professional, helpful and working hard. I also love their mini gourmet cupcakes in the bakery! They also have a large liquor department with a huge selection of products at good prices. Bathrooms have always been clean, too.

Always a great shopping experience!!! And the Fuel Perks are a great additional benefit...they really REALLY add up if you use them! We saved up 3.03 in fuel discounts and got 20 gallons of gas at 56 CENTS PER GALLON today! And the shopping experience is fantastic, the prices are great (2.78 for a gallon of milk, two jars of salsa for three bucks, red bell peppers 98 cents each, etc). And the friendliest staff around is here too. SHOP HERE!

Great deli, sushi, and meat counter. Lots of varieties. Nice staff. A parking spot for vets. Woo hoo go Navy.

I recently ordered a seaonal arrangement on their website. I asked for multiple changes and threw out specific requests hoping that, since I called ahead of time, Terri could come up with something resembling my almost ridiculous expectations. "WOW, omgsh, and that's beautiful! 🥲" Were the thoughts that came into my head when I saw what her 40 yrs of experience and talent brought to life! The arrangement was stunning. Thank you Terri in the Peru floral dept. I would recommend them for any event big or small!

Breathtaking Store. The entire store resonates wellness, happiness, variety, joy, fun. Everything you would want in a shopping experience.

A Madhouse the day before Thanksgiving as all places are..on store negative is they do not keep high I demand Sales items stocked which I understand can be hard on days like that.

Some really great deals, the bakery is one of my favorites and a huge selection of meats and cheese!
