I love Exist Green! The staff is so helpful. Trying to figure out all the zero waste swaps can be a little overwhelming but they are kind and informative. I’ve bought laundry detergent, soaps, beauty products, brushes, milk bag, coffee filters, tea and more. They have so many options!

Awesome store that sells eco friendly, use and re use items, plus refillable items such as we soap, makeup, food items (tea, beans and more)

The owner is friendly and personable and happy to chat about the items that she carries.
You will not find coffee beans here however as there is a store nearby you can get them. She seems to work wth her community so there was no need for crossover.

She mentioned willing to do talks and such for groups wanting to learn. Also she was looking into doing a pop up in the summer where they provide food from a local chef. Sounds like some interesting things will be happening here in the future.

The store itself is neatly organized with a clean aesthetic.
They are open every day except for Monday.

There is free Street parking available in the front. Did not notice another parking lot.

I've long been looking for a way to support local businesses while practicing eco friendly habits, and Exist Green allows me to do both!! I'm so excited about the bulk selection of soaps, dried foods, jars and tins. This is such a wonderful place.

If you’re environmentally conscious and want to grocery shop low-waste, this is the store for you!

Exist Green has the best variety of grocery store staples in a low-waste setting. Fresh produce, dried goods, beauty products, and reusable items such as metal straws, silicone lids for jars, food containers, etc.

Don’t forget to bring your own refillable jars/containers when shopping. The owner Leigh Neary will give you a discount! 🎉 She may have some containers available to use at the store from people who have donated their extras (this may have changed due to COVID).

When you arrive, she will sanitize your containers and weigh them (zeroing out the weight of the container). She has a menu readily available at the counter to shop in-stock food items.

Our favorites are the mushrooms! We love oyster, king trumpet, and her newest item... CHICKEN OF THE WOODS😍 We made fried chik’n nuggets with them and they were so yummy. In a recent visit, she had a zucchini/butternut squash hybrid in-store and we made a mash with it as a side with our nugs.

Leigh is very friendly and truly cares about her small business. She is honest and very knowledgeable about what she sells. We have been customers since November 2019 and will continue to support this small business❤

In love with this place! We were in town for vacation and wandered in looking for a natural soap. WELL... I walked out with natural cleaners, spices, tooth products, and other items I've not been able to find easily in person. The vibes were great. I love the natural and plastic free focus, everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable. The store was also in the heart of a super walkable neighborhood. We will definitely be ordering more items online since we unfortunately live so far away!

I can't believe I didn't know this place existed for so long! It is the best little spot to grab ANYTHING "green". They sell so many grains, spices, beans etc. But they also have amazing products like reusable bags, straws, cotton pads, you name it. It is such a fun store. Only terrible thing about them is that they aren't open on Sunday's which is sooooo annoying since that is the day I like to grocery shop to be ready for the week.

I don't usually write reviews but this was definitely one of the better eco friendly stores I've been to as someone who has been to many in other states as well. No plastic and even free recycled glass bottles to offer at the door for bulk refilling purposes. They have everything from bathroom essentials to kitchen needs, beauty products and teas. Not to mention a wide selection of each. I didn't spend as much as I had anticipated based on other experiences and I would say their prices are very reasonable. My favorite buys today were bulk charcoal powder for teeth and a travel bamboo tooth brush which is enclosed in a case and I spent about $13 on the both of those combined. Helpful staff and a really refreshing place to visit!

I cannot say enough positive things about this store. I absolutely love it. It has kickstarted a change in me and my habits. I’m looking for ways to cut out single use anything and has shown me how much I am wasting. The staff is so so helpful and knowledgeable.
I wish I would have gotten her name but a worker went above and beyond at my last visit. I explained to her I was looking for a particular tea that is popular at their store and often sold out. She MADE me a tea similar to what I was looking for on the spot.

I really should have left a review for this essential haven SO long ago, I’m just not usually a “reviewer” but my gosh this place is what I have needed and what everyone needs in their communities!! Don’t let the quaint space mislead you for judging the variety of products they carry, because she has a HUGE SELECTION of things that you would easily look past in every nook and cranny. I make all my own tea combinations for healing, oil infusions, moisturizers, body wash, dish soaps, dishwasher detergent, hair texture spray, holistic cleaning solutions, etc and every time I’ve needed a somewhat rare herb, bark, extract or what have you.. they have it! Plus in the food section you can find a large variety of noodles, legumes, flours, broths, seasonings, oils, local/organic produce and SO MUCH more. They love supporting local organic farmers and bakeries plus all their prices are very reasonable. Seriously bring all your emptied jars that you would otherwise throw away and refill them with products for a discount when you go! Keep your planet, your home and your family healthy and sustainable with a low waste approach.

First time I ever went into this store and immediately was greeted and shown what is what. AMAZING service! I will definitely be a regular at this store. Oh and the prices are absolutely fantastic! Everything you want or need for less than 5-8 dollars depending on what you buy. I couldn't be happier with this local store.

Hands down my favorite shop in Omaha, so unique and cute, really loving this zero waste idea! The staffs are very helpful and I love how you can buy fresh produce in very small amount. Had to try the new black raspberries they are so delicious!!

I love this store so much! you can legit get so many cool products like plastic free cleaning and hygiene supplies as well as bulk food and spices. This is definitely one of my favorite stores as I try to reduce my plastic use.

I visited “Exist Green” on a road trip traveling from Chicago. It was a very clean and welcoming atmosphere. The products were ones I wasn’t used to, I was assisted by one of the staff members and she explained the purpose of the products and also noted that this is a step by step journey. It has resonated with us and we are thankful. Try the reusable dish towels!

The reason Exist Green is perhaps the best shop in Omaha is because it provides opportunities for its patrons to think creatively about how to live more sustainably. This has improved my quality of life because it feels better to consider the impact of my consumption, and I save money in the long run. The staff is very friendly, and the products are high-quality and reasonably-priced.

Such a calm and mindful space. I am so glad I stumbled upon it and will be going often now. I've been looking for a store that makes it easier to live more sustainably and this shop has everything you could ever need.

My favorite shop in town! Love being able to reuse my own containers, or if I forget / buy something new they have great options provided without charge. Super reasonably priced for just about everything!
