Helpful staff and great produce. The sandwiches they make are worth there weight in gold they are great. The pastrami The chicken and the tuna are all great!!! The pastrami sandwich is amazing stacked with pastrami. The staff all so kind attentive and great. The guys and girls who make the sandwich are 1st class. And the people at the checkout always help me and my wife. I'm from the UK and they treat u so well here. They are all kind and attentive and great people!!!

I came here from Santa Monica to buy the Califia Farms Vanilla Latte Cold Brew Coffee With Almond Milk. I was looking for this specific coffee, and no one, not even Whole Foods, sells it in the 90403 area. I went to the Califia Farms website, which says they sell it here. The website also shows that this coffee is sold at a Whole Foods near my home, but that is untrue.
Anyway, thank you, Vicente Foods, for selling it here!

I came here because of concrete ice cream lol. Great selection of vegan ice creams. I've never seen some of the flavors and if so, then only in Erewhon for higher prices. Nice store.

Working in the area just walking distance pretty much the closest place to get lunch.prices are not too bad.have fresh made bowls to grab and go to register.chicken salad,teriyaki beef,or chicken and white rice,sushi,and many other foods.i think there is chicken to go also from deli area..real food at not a bad price especially for walking distance...

They have a wonderful deli!! The man who makes the sandwiches is very very nice and you get a bang for your buck! He puts a lot of meat and the quality is great! Highly recommend their bakery as well. Great pastries and cookies!

Never had a bad interaction with this place or its people. Often buy the never frozen fish here after inquiring what's fresh, usually the halibut, sword or salmon.

The Absolute Greatest shopping experience ever. This meat department is old school top quality bar none. Store clerks walk up to you, and ask, " could I help find what you are looking for"... WHAT???

personally I really like the selections of their products. You can tel they try to stock as much top quality items for customers to have several options of product. The selection of wines cheeses, imported foods is excellent. The bakery bakes some prime cookies. Highly recommend them.

We love this oasis... special grocer with amazing things not found elsewhere. We love Italian Ice Shoppe Ices. Authentic NYC.

Beautiful clean market with everything one would need. They follow all the covid-19 safety protocols and have sanitizer at the front door if you need it. The deli is delicious and the sandwiches are very generous and come with pickles and potato salad!

Helpful staff for excellent fresh food

A customer at Vicente Foods for over 40 years, I can say that this store is the epitome of care, quality, and service.

Yes, for produce and meats, the prices are a bit higher. But after purchase, we need discard nothing--there is no waste; the quality of produce is unequaled--even in many farmers' markets--and the meats are extraordinary. Fresh things taste like they should...like we remember they "did." Tomatoes are tomatoes, and the same is true for any vegetable, fruit, or meat. The staff are informed, gracious, and generous, and the wine and liquor department is itself carefully curated--with advice, conversation, and--when desired--very helpful information and instruction. And of course, there is the service deli--incredible...with some homemade specialties and wonderful sandwiches....all with a smile and engaging conversation--and there is the bakery--Mamolo's--a Viktor Benes original, with baked goods, whose quality is equaled only by the staff's sweetness (no, really).

Importantly, during this chaotic crisis, management and staff have done everything they can to support one another, and to provide products and service as seamlessly as it is humanly possible to do, being vigilant about the health of staff and the safety of customers. Thank you, VF!

I f i have lived near this grocery when I was young and have used this grocery store for 60 years. In the early days it was the small corner store and had everything you needed in the 50s and 60s. As Brentwood has changed to a more upscale area, they enlarged the store as much as possible due to parking requirements. The aisles are small as they wanted to continue to pack in everything you need now. They include Mamalos Bakery ownership the same as Gelsons bakery (yum). They have a small deli counter that makes sandwiches and offers deli food to go. The meats are excellent! The aisles are packed with regular and Gourmet offerings of sauces, cheeses, cereals and other goodies. Plus they had excellent fruits vegetables and wines. It gets crowded at times, but everyone is polite including the check out staff. You can pre-order and pay and they offer curbside delivery and ((home delivery before the pandemic).

5 stars for a small neighborhood market. They manage to squeeze in everything you need, even items you can't find in supermarkets. Plenty of parking. There's a pharmacy adjacent .

Did some work for a gentleman up there a few times and went for a sandwich a Corned beef on rye and the person behind the counter stacked it high and full. So, now any time i work for the gentleman I always eat there. They also have some the old sodas we drank as a kid like Nehi Orange soda and Bubble up. This place rocks.

They have a wide range of food selection and a little expensive pricing, but it is worth it. Their fish person is super nice and he helped me to find seasoning. It is a local store, so I feel home when I walked into the store. I pick Vicente over Whole Food in Brentwood.

They stock all of my favorites. Very fine selection of foods, both commonplace & gourmet. A perfect local market.

They sell peanuts that are still in their shells like at baseball games. They’re hidden under a fruit or veggie table in the fresh section
