The Home Depot

Howdy, it’s me, Jon J Jacobson, here once again telling y’all my opinions based on real life things and stuff, yee. Went to the Home Depot today to grab some nice succulents and soul, was very pleased with the fine succulent collection, the Home Depot employees were also helpful in guiding us should we lose our path to the shining light of success. But Jonny boy here always knows his way, but good to know for your youngins which may not.

Overly ally, this here Depot of the Home gets a Jon score of 1 wagon out of 1 wagon.

A couple of weeks ago I brought by my chainsaw that had been missing a part since last winter to the guys over at the L Street Omaha Nebraska store in in the rental department. Mike Z was at the counter along with his colleague Jeff. I explain to them while trying to tighten the chain. I had lost a bolt and had just brought the chainsaw back taken apart, hoping that I could pay someone to quickly reassemble and get it working again. Mike C explained to me that they stopped doing repair work early in the year at Home Depot. After my noticing my disappointment that I was likely dealing with the headache of calling the company to locate a service location. Etc. Mike Z. Picked up my chainsaw and said let me take a quick look for you. No charge. 10 minutes later I’m walking out of his shop with a smile on my face and my chainsaw fully reassembled and ready to go! This is an example of excellent customer service, making a judgment call on the spot and going above and beyond normal customer service. I am now loyal to that location and even more loyal to the Home Depot. Bravo Mike Z and Jeff in the rental department! You made my day and saved me (not mechanically inclined;) hours of running around for a simple, helpful and kind fix.

Needed a pair of 3 inch thin bolts and wing nuts. I'm terrible at matching the 2 packs, but I was trying, and I had the old one. One of the employees came down the isle and asked me if I had an example of what I was looking for, and spent the next few minutes sizing what I had and not only finding me a match, but also taking a minute to show me how to do it. Awesome! I learned something new and was treated in a courteous and friendly manner.

I went to the pro desk today and worked with 2 of the best employees, I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Mike and Shiloh, are such an asset to Home Depot. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It was one of, if not, the best experience I have had with your company. I will continue to shop at that store because of the perfect experience my wife and I had. Thank you Home Depot for these two employees.

I use a mobility cart when I shop there which is frequently. They used to have 2 (which are frequently in use) but one was total junk. The other was in use about 60% of the time so I'd just have to leave. I mentioned at least 4 times over 2 years that they needed more or at least 2 decent ones. Now they just have the 1 and the battery was dead the last 2 times I was there. Either you don't know you have a problem or you don't care... and they have been told numerous times... so it's obvious that they don't care!

Update. They added 1 newer cart so now they have 2 usable carts. Thank you.

Update. They have 3-4 usable carts now.

I always enjoy going to Home Depot, but in this instance the crew really was super friendly and handy

We shop at Home Depot pretty often. I think that the products we get from here are of good quality, and the prices just right. At other home supply stores you either get what you pay for (low quality), or you pay way too much for equivalent quality items. Home Depot is just right.

Henry was the sweetest worker here. My mom went in needing help with some fridge work and he was so patient with assisting her and finding someone that could help her fix the water. My mother does not speak English well and she asked me to post this review for her sake. She will definitely return to this location if she needs anything else.

Had a great time there the management the workers everybody cordial helpful courteous and very informative and I thank them for all their help serious Devotion to their job and the community sincerely Bill Usinger with signature retail services

All thanks to Home Depot I painted the patio table which I got from a friend who got from Home Depot, the umbrella stand, paving stones, all in one. Bbq, I’m using it this Friday at my sons birthday party!

Great customer service and people are asking if you need assistance. Way better than trying to search for help when no-one is around. Shout out to James for helping my daughter with her cart pulling skills.

Went to home depot on L st. Having problems with my arm and neck. Asked a younger dude named Aiden in the lumber department if he could give me a hand loading it on the cart he said I'll load it all up and u pull your truck up and we'll load it in your truck too. Thank you Aiden in the lumber department. Great customer service.

Where do I start? I am fighting cancer (2nd time) & I needed help with a purchase at this store. The overwhelming support that I received reduces me to tears. The kindness & compassion by the employees there is beyond stellar. A shout out to Sha, Tawni & Kevin. Sha handled the purchase whereas Tawni & Kevin did the delivery. People like this are one in a billion. I am thankful, blessed & overwhelmed. You don't find people or service like this in this day & time. Especially from a chain store. God bless them. I am eternally grateful. There is still kindness & compassion in this world & Home Depot proved that. They are angles among us & I was blessed to encountered three. ~Marilyn~

Great selection, fair prices, and helpful staff.

Very good customer service. had multiple people help take order out to car. Had my order ready to pick up when I got there.

Shopping for a grill and a vendor/ assembly guy was working. David i think. Was very helpful on picking out a good grill that will stand up over time. What blew my capacitors was his area was amazing. Clean, inspite of so much junk in the boxes, it was ordered so people can actually walk around. Most assembly people get paid by the how many things they can put together. Besides the point. Cool dude though, shot out David, you are awesome. Back to the store. It always has what you need and if not they help you order it and you can pick it up same day it arrives. Folks there are helpful and seem easy to get along with. For lumber and household stuff it is way better than other box stores.

Friendly staff impressed how they were taking care of the plants alot of places haven't cared and been waiting the 2nd place in town I've been able to find wat I'm looking for I appreciate the garden area the most and the staff that occupies the space

Home Depot has a good selection of power tools, plumbing supplies, and general hardware. I wish their treated lumber was not color tinted, but that is the only bad thing that I can say about them. They get about $15,000 - $18,000 worth of business from me annually. Nice friendly people too.
