Giant Eagle Supermarket

It's well stocked & clean. Prices are well Giant Eagle prices. I can't say that I shop here very often because it's usually more expensive. In a pinch in a hurry you can get in find what you need and get out without a hassle.

Well organized, clean, and not super busy as other branches. I’ve been to other Giant Eagles in Pittsburgh and they all look super disorganized or crowded. But this one surprised me on many levels. All isles were in its best shape and the grocery store didn’t seem busy for a rush hour visit.

This is regarding Rodi Road in Penn Hills Giant Eagle. It was running well with short, rapid checkout lines despite the busy time of day. Until I moved, a few years ago, this had been my primary grocery and pharmacy. It was good to see it in good condition, busy but not more than staff could handle.

The hot fish meal was not a planned outing, but I knew they had very good hot foods in the past. The person with me had gotten suddenly famished and needed food fast but they don't like fast food so a hot meal from GE was the fastest solution.

Staff pleasant and efficient. Store clean and welcoming, good standard layout for medium size store. Why not 5 stars? Picky point, fish sandwich with a charge for tartar sauce? But ketchup free? Sorry about that, but no tartar sauce? Got to deduct for that. Was able to get a small cold bottle of lemonade, ok the perfect beverage for fish so bump them up to 5 stars

I always find good deals and friendly people. Clean and always have good stock. The cart men will help you by taking your cart back.
Although they do need more handicapped parking spaces.

Very good customer service from those young boys cashiers...Very polte and helpful.

I popped in to pick up a few items & some prescriptions along with my flu shot.

Great store to shop and lots of varieties. And the perks are a bonus

Love going to Giant Eagle, I always get it in and get out.

Given I live fairly close to this one, it is the one I go to the most. The staff is very polite for the most part. There are a few that give off a vibe of they don't want to be bothered. They are very strict on their Covid-19 protocol and rules. They are constantly sanitizing their carts and any surface possible. They have a security guard at the doors to enforce the mask rule. Overall a very good experience every time I go there.

The shelves are always stocked and the cashiers are always friendly. I love the discount merchandise area in the back of the produce section. It’s worth it to spend a little more on groceries here because they offer a wide variety to choose from and you don’t have to worry about your food expiring quickly because it’s always the freshest.

Ya gotta love Giant Eagle. My two favorite reasons are the fried chicken and the discount on fuel.

Plus they have everything I need and my pharmacy. And they gave a lot of money to local Pittsburgh food Bank during the pandemic so they got great community spirit.

The people who work there are super nice and helpful.

Very clean. Well organized. Nice amount of parking. I was able to get exactly what I needed and keep it moving.

Tonight, I felt sick with anxiety. I am moving, but Nia and I think his name is Ken rang me out and bagged my things. Nia told me I was pretty for no reason. My life has been in chaos and one little compliment made me feel like less of piece of poop. I forgot one of my bags and Cassidy helped me with my return. Cassidy is the best employee in the whole store. She is always so helpful and friendly especially at check out. Thanks, friends at Penn Hills shopping center

The store is clean and they follow the covid-19 protocols. Giant Eagle has arrows on the floor indicating which way you should travel and the spots marked in the pharmacy line for you to remain six feet behind the person in front of you and also at the checkout they have marks on the floor for you to remain 6 ft behind. I just went in for one item today it was for a gluten-free bread mix so I wasn't in the store for very long.

They just keep getting better and better as the years go on. Larger produce, smaller prices, fresher quality. Just overall excellent. Far and away the best grocery store in Pittsburgh. My only wish is that they had a larger meat section, compared to the rest of their store are butchered offerings are on the limited side

Always has fresh fish and has good variety of prepared food items.

This store is close to my home so it's convenient. The bakery is fantastic. Their cake designers do a great job. This particular Giant Eagle is not as big as Monroeville, but it has everything you need in a grocery store. They have a great and knowledgeable pharmacy staff. Overall a 5 star store..

I love this location, the meat is fresh and the staff is always very friendly, my only issues is that it's smaller and can get busy fast!

I was in on Tuesday. I only stopped to get a few things. Lines were not horribly long.

This is where you get 5 stars. I had just been at the doctors office with my son who is severely autistic. At the check out...my mom and autism senses picked up that the young male bagger was possibly on the spectrum.

He greeted every customer. Made great eye contact and was very polite ans respectful.

Thank you so much do giving this man a chance to prove that autism is different...not less.

If he has a working social aide, please pass on to them that he is doing an awesome job.

This is one of my favorites of all the GEs. Not too big, not too small. It's just right. And the cashiers are all efficient and don't take forever to get you through the line.
