I went exploring the valley of gaming stores today and stopped by Rekreation Games to check it out, they have an amazing selection of board games from small to big. There's puzzles (250-1000 pieces), dice (and dice towers!), dice mats, D&D materials such as books. It was small/medium sized and focused really well.

It looked like a very comfortable place to play board games/tabletop.

Rekreation games is Fantastic! I love this store! Absolutely the best game store in the east valley. Great selection of tabletop board games, miniature and card games. They also have a good selection of gaming accessories. Rekreation games also has great pricing on all their items. Their pricing falls right in line with Amazon's pricing, sometimes they will even be cheaper than the posted price on Amazon. There are plenty of tables for playing games. The store is brightly light and very clean. It also has a very nice atmosphere. I've always felt welcomed every time I've been here. The staff and owners are always nice, fun, and helpful! If you are a gamer and you need games or accessories, or a place to play and find other players, do yourself a favor and check out Rekreation!

Rekreation Games is by far my favorite board/card gaming store in Phoenix! With a friendly and knowledgeable staff, a clean and safe play area, and the most popular and newest games at the best prices around, it’s hard to imagine going anywhere else. If you have had bad experiences at other shops or been rubbed the wrong way by owners or employees less than helpful. Check out Rekreation games, you will make it your regular gaming destination.

Came in for my first commander night recently and ended up having a blast! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The seating and environment were very comfortable as well. Can’t wait to come back!

A fun little spot with lots of unique interesting and niche games. They also carry a lot of the main line Staples like Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons and Warhammer plus paints and hobby supplies. A lot of their floor space is dedicated to tables to be able to play games as well. The

I managed to snag a 10th edition Necron 40k codex when everyone else was out for $10 cheaper than online as well as noticed they had the new models in stock

Rek is my go to game store. I've been to a bunch of other game stores in the east valley and Rek is the only one with friendly staff, amazing players and nice layout. They don't have the biggest selection of tabletop games, but they're more then happy to order it for you if you're willing to wait. They also carry my favorite paint line, and my favorite tabletop game. I recommend this place to anyone!

This place is awesome if you're looking for pretty much any game and you can find it or they can order it. Also it's a really great place to spoil your geeky husband.

Rekreation has been nothing but great. Not only do they have a great board game selection at reasonable prices, they also order games for you that are not in stock at the store. The customer service at Rekreation is also top notch and is one of the main reasons my girlfriend and I are repeat customers. I happily recommend Rekreation to any avid board gamers and I look forward to continuing my support of this great local business.

Really great game store! Very happy to have a new alternative for buying games in the valley. Owner is super nice. We have a great conversation every time we go in. Excellent selection with some hard to find titles. Certainly bound to be something for everyone. Clean restrooms and a nice gaming space as well. I'm looking forward to seeing what's to come!

Great game store. Bought some great finds while visiting, enjoyed playing on their table tops in the back with friends. Was able to call and order a game from their store and had within the week of ordering. The owner knows about so many games and he is passionate in teaching and exposing you to new games. We love that about him!

I didn’t know this place existed. The workers seem really happy to be there. The board game selection is unmatched. Glad to see they keep stuff in stock.

I just discovered this store last night. The store has only been opened for three weeks. The store already has an excellent selection of board games and looks to be expanding even further. There is a really nice play space. The owner is very friendly and engaging. The prices are also very competitive with online game stores and I would rather buy from a local business than Amazon. I think this store has a real chance to be the go to board game store for the East Valley.

Probably the best experience I’ve had in a board game shop. Great selection with prices that were well-below MSRP. The employee working there was eager to help me find the game I was looking for, going so far as to get my phone number to call me personally when it’s back in stock. Definitely will be going back.

What a fantastic shop! They have a great selection, reasonable prices, super helpful and friendly staff, and a bustling gaming community in shop. Definitely worth checking out!

A friendly, local game store with a great selection ranging from TTRPG, collectible card games, family games, miniatures & painting supplies and probably a ton of other stuff I'm forgetting. I went in a few weeks ago during a lunch break to browse and the guy at the counter was friendly and gave me suggestions based on my tastes. I was impressed by the prices too, they were better than what I had seen online. They also have tables available for anyone to use (I assume as long as there isn't an event going on and you've at least purchased something previously)

This shop has a great selection of games and a really nice atmosphere. Their prices are also really reasonable. I'd love if they also offered a trade-in option for games, but that's my only wishlist item at this point.
