They delivered the device my daughter needed within an hour. She wasn’t even back from hospital yet. Showed me how to use it. Went to store to return device early as she was progressing faster than expected. No issuing at all receiving prorated refund. Staff was kind and helpful. Excellent experience all the way around.

This place was absolutely amazing. Wonderful family owned business who were professional and personable and actually cared. And it was the only one in my county who took my ins. If you're in Suffolk county this is where you need to go, or you can go to lewins and pay $150 out of pocket for a boot.

I took my mom to Mufsons Medical Supply Store this morning to get diabetic shoes. My mom is a very sick woman with alot of medical issues and has been in and out of the hospital numerous times In the past year. She has cancer and is very weak.We were greated by Patricia upon entering the store. Patricia was a delight to have helping us.She is very kind and professional and even helped us by contacting my moms doctors and getting the paperwork started. What a wonderful woman, so helpful, kind and understanding. She made my mom happy and smile. She took her time with my mom trying on different shoes.She was very personable and caring and didnt rush my mom. Everyone is the store was wonderful. I was in looking for a cam walker boot all day and couldn't find one unit a friend recommended Mufson. I called they had it! Best customer service, they couldn't have been nicer. I will always go here even though it's over half hour away from me.

Had an appointment at mufson medical supply earlier today, their staff was great and both incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Mark and Patricia the receptionists were very kind from the beginning. David and his son dillon were the gentlemen who took care of me and they were both awesome we had a great conversation on the topic of sports I even got to meet the owner Mr mufson himself he was an incredibly kind and humorous man

They were extremely helpful and accommodating and the price was great. I’m always happy to shop local and support our local businesses!

I think it's important to use one's own judgement before deciding to rule out any business based on someone else's review. I was hesitant to consider Mufson Medical Supply after reading a negative review. However, I'm SO glad I decided to form my own opinion based on my own experience. I called in December 2019 to inquire about whether they had any equipment that could help my 90 year old father who had a very bad back muscle spasm that landed him in the hospital (along with open wounds on his calves due to venous insufficiency). The owner, Roger, was very polite, helpful and informative on the phone. Based on the phone call, I went to his store on 12/28/2019 for the first time. I bought quite a few products, which were of great benefit to my father (an excellent model of a rolling walker, a Commode Assist unit (a portable, pneumatic-type commode, which does not require pushing up in order to stand up. The commode does a lot of the lifting work, which has been invaluable for my Dad), a Raised Toilet Seat to add on top of the bathroom toilet so that he does not have to hurt his back pushing up from a very low seat, a Toilet Safety frame (added bars around the bathroom toilet to turn it into a handicapped toilet), a Heating Pad (much better than the type you buy at a pharmacy - gets to a higher temperature and retains the temperature), a Stimulators (TENS) machine, an EXCELLENT pair of men's XX slippers (which proved extremely helpful due to my Dad's very swollen feet) plus some other miscellaneous items (pads, grip-socks, etc. ) These purchases were made over three visits in Dec 2019 - Jan 2020. I cannot thank Roger enough for guiding me in the right direction to find items that have made my Dad's life so much easier. Roger also explained how to assemble the commode, the raised toilet seat and the toilet safety frame. The other people who helped me during the 2nd and 3rd visits were Mark, Patricia and David. They were ALL wonderful. Patricia let me take the slippers home to make sure they fit my Dad, as it would be impossible for him to make the trip there. She said as long as I came back within a day, it would be okay. The slippers turned out perfect and those, too, improved the comfort in my Dad's life. (I could not find slippers to fit his very swollen feet anywhere on the Internet. I tried a few that sounded promising, but they were all tight. This pair had a velcro closure and was made very sturdy, which is also important for his back. ) Also, the recommendation of the walker that I bought was excellent. The physical therapist who made a few visits to our home after his release from the hospital said he planned to recommend that model to his clients going forward.
In my opinion, even though a lot of things can be ordered online these days, something as important as medical/health-related equipment should be seen in person. I never would have known what to buy had I not gone to Roger's store and received all of the guidance he and the others gave me. Also, you can determine if something looks comfortable when you're actually looking at it and even trying it (walker, etc).
I don't have to wonder which store to go to in the future when I need any medical supplies. This is THE store I will go to. They had everything I needed. they knew their products well, they were polite and not pushy at all. I cannot say enough good things. Thank you again.

A couple years ago i rented a recliner chair after knee surgery. Prior to the rental i had spoken with several area merchants. Mufson was heads above the others , in customer service and price. Infact during the rental period the chair broke down, Mufson came the afternoon of the morning i called...to replace the chair. I am now looking for another medical rental and am on here because i looked them up in my phone as they are #1 on my list to call.

My family have been coming to Mufson Medical since the current owner’s father ran the establishment. Excellent service and fair prices. All of those complaining about “price gouging” clearly don’t understand how the US economy works.

Front desk employees and technician very friendly and prompt to help They have a new location and the place is very nice we didn't wait long and my son had the equipment immediately. Thank you for you great service.
