Ace Hardware of West LA

Thank you Greg and Debra for rescuing my dying plants! They now look healthy and doing well! Great service and very knowledgeable and professional. very helpful in many ways. I'll keep coming back for shopping. I'm not good at taking care of plants but with expert, I feel safe to shop here.

I needed to repaint my entire house, and this hardware store had everything I required. The paint selection was extensive, and the staff offered expert advice on the best products for my project. The quality of the paint and painting tools was exceptional, and the prices were unbeatable. My home looks amazing, thanks to this store's excellent products and service.

Been a fan of Ace for a long time. Large store with a great selection of tools, gear and competitively priced inventory. Extremely knowledgeable staff and if they don't know, they find an answer to the inquiry and provide several good options. They work as a team which makes the experience a good one. I may not be able to recall all the things I have purchased from an Ace Hardware over the years but I will always recall a great experience at a business. Thank you for having a sense of ownership, pride and being good at what you all do You hire great people!

I passed by the store by accident, I went in to look for a Plumber’s tape that I had been planning to get, since I just recently installed a water filter, without the seal it’s leaking. So I went in without carrying any cash and cards with me (I went there after class, I don’t usually carry my wallet with me on a normal school day), not knowing that Apple Pay is not accepted (the machine can’t do pay wave), that puts me an awkward situation. And this very nice young man who works as a cashier in the next counter just came up and helped me pay it!! I was so grateful, I wanted to Venmo him back but he refused, so I said I’ll come back tomorrow to pay you in cash. And he said today is actually his last day working here. This guy just made my day, ACE you hired the right people, please treat your employees well.❤ May god bless his kind soul, and wish him the best in everything he does his life.

Great selection. Better hours than other ACE locations. Some employees give excellent customer service & at least 2 give horrible customer service. Prices are fair at this store & it has a huge selection and a second floor with even more things to consider buying.

I called the store at 6 pm assuming I would speak to a machine and be frustrated. I got a human. His name is Nick and he was knowledgeable and helpful. Nick answered my questions and retrieved the exact BBQ grill piece I needed and saved if for me at the contractor desk. Additionally, he thoughtfully brought an alternative model and let me choose the best one for me. Thank you, Nick, for the pleasant shopping experience.

The old Osh store is now the new Ace Hardware. Even though the store's grand opening is end of July they're doing a soft opening now. The store is well stock with good prices. The outside garden has a good choice. Talking to couple of the staff there will knowledgeable and super friendly. With its free parking and plenty of space has no need to go to those big box stores.

I had the the best experience with Helpful Dave. I needed to carve out some camera holes for my homemade iPhone case and I came into this specific ace hardware after no success with the one near my house. But it was totally worth it. Helpful Dave was so friendly and sweet, he carved the lens holes and made my homemade iPhone case look professionally made. I know for a fact I wouldn’t get this type of customer service anywhere else

Love Ace. Did you know that it's a co-op with all the individual store owners? They have a great selection of random fasteners. I noticed something on my car was falling off and was able to grab a couple plastic plugs to put it back in place.

HIGHLY recommend this ACE ! The staff was so friendly and helped me resolve a key copying issue in which Home Depot could not support me. if you are looking to copy your keys, I recommend here because if there is an issue with the automatic machine not reading your key they have a backup manual style machine that did the trick. They were most helpful to me during my minor key ordeal.

Next I will visit their garden center bc it looked very good.

Jeff in plumbing gives great pointers on toilet tank fill valve and the Kohler Aquapiston class five flush valve replacement. Finding the right YouTube videos made it super easy. Great prices and Jeff steered me to the best product instead of the priciest one.

I almost took a star away for Customer Service at the ACE on Bundy. The Rep in the laundry section exhibited utter indifference. This service level was below any levels that I have seen at other ACE stores.
I’m still giving 5 stars for now (based on the benefit of the doubt). Maybe she just had a very bad day.

The cashier was also quite distracted because he tried to make eye contact with a customer in another line. He asked her if she is still looking for a contractor (a little side hustle here?)

Bathrooms have a secret code only a worker can open it for you, because people still things and open boxes and thought out cartons in toilet

My most favorite ace hardware in the entire world. It feels like a pocket sized version of Lowe’s, my friend said it was cute and I couldn’t agree more. They have an office upstairs, it feels like a Ace Headquarters for the people, it’s awesome. I’m not even in to masonry but I love getting my ac filters from this location and other things like keys etc
