Jewel-Osco

Really, really like this Jewel Osco. I shop here often and rarely have trouble. The staff in this store's deli department is always great. They are occasionally out of sale items but they are usually there within a couple of days. This store is always clean whenever I am here. My advice to anyone, shop the items on sale. Sale prices here are often better than regular prices at Strack & Van Til or even Aldi for that matter. Checkout lines have always moved quickly whenever I am here. Will continue to return to this location.

Today I almost didn't stop at Jewel because it appeared to be very crowded. I did stop and bought numerous items that I hadn't anticipated purchasing but there were several sale items.
When I went to check out a cashier opened a new line, she was one of the most efficient cashiers Jewel has. She made my day.
I have found that Pari and or Diane are bye far your best cashiers. They are your most efficient and customer focused cashiers in your store.

I was pleasantly surprised on my visit today. Good selection of produce especially. They have my brand of cigs, but not my flavor, so that was a bummer, but not enough to suck a star off my review. I would recommend shipping here. The employees I did interact with were helpful and kind. Thumbs up

Needed a last minute Birthday Cake, we were sick, but the Twins Birthday we needed to celebrate! Jewel did not disappoint! The cake was delicious too! If you love alot of frosting, this is your cake! ❤🎂

Nice neighborhood market. We find what we need. The ladies in the bakery are so nice, they gave sample cookies to my kids, and I remembered that from when I was little, it was a nice nostalgia moment. Their birthday cakes are good. Fresh produce. Pretty flowers and overall an awesome store.

They have the best cakes! We order for birthdays, anniversary, really every celebration. They also have cute Christmas items some are already 50% off! Store is clean and well stocked!

Love Jewel and just wish one was closer to Demotte Indiana, live in wheatfield Indiana ~ love their salmon

Crown Point Jewel is our go to store. From bakery, deli, meat counter to frozen foods everyone that works these departments knows their stuff! The store is always clean and well stocked. I mean really what's not to love about Cheap Chicken Monday! GO NOW and shop.

Ive always loved how easy it is to find items and how the store is laid out! The employees have always been super helpful and always stop what they're doing to answer any questions I have or to help me find a specific item. The only complaint I would have is towards one of the younger guys working the deli counter at night. He's never been rude to me but I have seen in facial expressions and the way his body language is, whether or not he hates dealing with or being around the different races. If you have to purchase from the deli, go in the morning if you can't handle rude racist employees (I say that nicely because I'm one of those people and yes, I have reported him to a manager before).

Did the drive up and go grocery pick up and it was so fast and easy. My order was ready hours ahead of time which really opened my day up! They were out of a few things which caused my subtotal to go lower than needed for my one coupon but it was still excepted. They picked out really nice fruit and meats too! This is a great service, especially when there are big coupons to try out out!

No matter how long the wait I will always stand in cashier Bob’s lane! He is always the most courteous and friendly employee there, and makes a point to remember his customers! Great job and good hire on him!

Jacob R. at the register was so delightful! he was friendly and had awesome conversation with my boyfriend and i while we were checking out. his attitude and appreciation of us being there was highly valued!

It's been years since I've been to Jewels and my experience was good. I like the fact that whatever I couldn't find in the store I could go to the customer service desk and ask them. The Customer service agent was polite and courteous she called the meat dept to check if they had a certain item that I was looking for. I love this store they have certain items I like that they don't carry at my local grocery store.

They have a great sale all the time and date customer service.

Great store! People were kind, shelves stocked, it was really nice to see. My husband saw that our daughters' favorite Snapple was in stock and there was a coupon, I clipped it to late but the cashier was soo kind. She took it off of my bill and re-brand it up so I could get my savings!! 🥰🥰🥰 I really appreciate it!!

Went there about an hour ago and checkout guy at the express lane was super nice and patient. There was an issue with the swipe machine not reading my card and he was super patient and nice and was able to help me by manually putting it in. He didn't seemed annoyed or anything. Other then that older clean store. Never had any problems here.

Always can trust and count on a Jewel-Osco for lobster tails. Already packaged and ready to go! I always come in for things you can't buy at your other grocery stores (fresh seafood and specialty cheeses). Love how nice and friendly the staff always is and the store looks clean as usual. Keep up the good work!

My only complaint here is the deli. There is always an issue. Either way too many people standing around waiting to be helped by some of the slowest staff manageable. They are great people to talk with, they are just not fast at this job. We have now split duties. 1 stands in line at the deli for 15-20 min while the other shops. Which can basically be half of our list by that time. It really is incredibly slow.

Great selection of everything we look for. We hit Costco for some things and here for the majority.

Management is great to deal with as well as the staff. But they never seem to have enough baggers. The cashiers are great and are very friendly but baggers are few and far between to find.

Grocery pick up is easy peasy. It cost a bit more but, I'm not in the store impulse buying stuff so it actually saves me money.
