The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are AMAZING! Seriously, they are selling high end clothing and footwear and some phenomenal prices. Absolutely worth checking out, especially if you're looking for outdoor work gear.

I was at Carter’s today. As far as customer service goes, they are second to no one.

I was greeted by a young man, when I walked in. The owner, immediately asked; how he could help me? Within minutes, I had what I needed.

I was introduced to Carter’s (it was just Carter’s back then) as a middle schooler by my late uncle. He was a Timberland aficionado back in the day before the mainstream found them. Carter’s was THE place to buy Timberland back then. Literally, wall to wall, stacked to the ceiling with Timberland. It was my shoe paradise.

After decades of being away, I decided I had to revisit the place as I was in need of new Timberlands after my 12 year old Euro Hikers finally quit on me recently.

The store has changed a bit since my youth, as they’ve expanded to include clothing now, but I still was able to find a well-curated selection of my favorite brand. The price was right and service was the same friendly, personal service I remembered on so many visits during my youth.

If you’re looking for a good selection of work/outdoor-related apparel at fair prices and good customer service, this is the spot.

Super helpful sales staff. Not pushy, just ready to help if needed. With his knowledge of store stock, I was done in 10 minutes. I really appreciated that. Cashier was very pleasant & cheerful as well. They know what they're doing here. You get name brand clothing w/ exceptional quality at a fair price. I have been shopping at Carter's clothing since I was 13years of age when I got my first paying job. I am now 50years of age,I'm a grandfather of 18yes 18grand children!! And I'm still a loyal customer for a lot of reasons,but the one greatest reason out of all the reasons I am still a loyal customer is because the minute I walk into the store I'm treated with an old fashioned kindness that you just can't get any where else no matter what store you walk in to!! From the very first time I walked into Carter's clothing I felt special, which I had never been treated like before especially being CapeVerdean and Portuguese decent! carters is the best work clothing store in our area the workers are the most friendly and helpfull they dont drive you crazy to buy but they will go out of their way to get what you need on one occation the elder gentelman there even asked me if i wanted them to dropp of one pair of pants they got me from their fall river store at my house in acushnet i recomend this store to everyone

I shop there all the time. They have a great selection of men's clothes. And the staff is always helpful. If they don't have what your looking for they'll call their other store in Fall River. You can't go wrong shopping there. I've been going there since I was a kid.

Carter's is a New Bedford institution. I bought a lanyard and a t shirt.

They always have a great selection of champion, timberland, carhartt. Big men's sizes to smaller sizes. Love this place. I prefer the new Bedford store over the fall river one even though it's smaller, the people are alot nicer and more helpful.

Excellent helpful staff! If they are out of stock they check the Fall River store and if it's in stock at that location they will ship it to New Bedford for the next business day. Always freindly and smiling.

Very helpful,friendly and personalized service. All the products Carters carry are of good quality and authentic also. I find their prices to be better than questionable online stores.

Wish they still sold Nike and Jordan stuff! Can't beat the 4 fa $20 tees tho! Almost every color u could imagine, and sizes up to 6X.
