We have not been to a big Lotz for years, and we came in tonight to look for puppy harnesses and you didn't have a big supply , but we were welcomed by Nathan the store Mgr or assist Mgr he was so friendly, he made us feel so welcomed then when we checked out he was our cashier, and again so friendly he had such a friendly attitude so sweet and kind and very helpful we ended up spending almost $200 and we will be coming in more

Found high quality glass food storage at a good price. Always fun to browse seasonal items here too.

This Tempe Big lots is the cleanest, most organized , friendly and helpful one I have had the pleasure of shopping at. They offer many eco friendly items, Vegetarian, vegan and health conscious items, 100% cotton items and soooo many great deals that you can add coupons and weekly discounts to the total!

I love to support stores that are active in the community ( they sponsor, donate , give back back and host local non profits infront of their store to fundraise and educate ).
Although a chain store , Big lots sticks to ethics for sourcing in supply chain, Treating thier employees well , Inclusive of all and every one, commitment to positive environmental practices helping to eliminate waste and even helping with filling local Pantry's and food security organizations. I wish more people would support this store, Not all chain stores are bad.
For 24.00 I bought cat food, eco friendly compostable plates, quality Toothpaste, 4 chemical free pantry items & razer refill pack... Any where else would have been double that. 5 stars for making change and helping my dollar stretch.

Normally i love this big lots, however as of today i am annoyed to say the least at the customer service given here. They have a chair on display that i was initially told last week i could not order and there was none at any other locations. They needed to wait for it to be discontinued to sell it or i could talk to corporate. So over the last week i have gone to all other stores in the valley to find this chair and they have none at any location including the floor model. Soooooo i call today and explain this to the manager Lloyd and he says if i call corporate and they confirm that it can be sold that he will sell it to me. I call corporate and spent well over an hour on hold and the gentleman i spoke to told me it’s Lloyds choice to sell it and he won’t sell even though it’s out of stock and at no other locations unless it is discontinued. What kind of manager doesn’t want their store to profit? Seems a bit off to me so now i will be waiting for the district manager to call me back. Gosh it’s a chair just sell it. This really feels like a joke to me.

I have been to this big lots many times over the last 12 years and I will say that Nate, TJ and Cole made my experience Amazing tonight. They were super helpful, funny, friendly. And I really appreciate it. Great hires. I haven’t been back since my last bad experience but this will definitely bring me back having a good stuff there that really genuinely cares. Thanks guys!!!

This store is always clean neat organized the staff has been helpful too.

It's always been a pleasure visiting there, Mr. Lloyd and the other manager are great, plus Tyler, Bob, and a few others outstanding employees. Whenever I need help they do a great job in doing so. It makes shopping a great experience whether I'm getting seasonal items or a everyday item, I enjoy always going back there to shop. If you haven't been to this location I suggest you do. Place here is so much better then the other locations and cleaner too.

Big lots is seriously one of my favorite stores. They always have a great selection of decor, holiday items, gifts, and everything in between! The Tempe store is clean and well stocked. The prices are reasonable and they often send out coupons.

What can I say
Best retail store of it's kind. I always spend more than I plan to. Like to check out entire store. Have one item that I buy there that is too good to share 😉

Big Lots has really changed their game lately! I used to feel overwhelmed when going to Big Lot's a few years back. But they've changed so much, and for the better! They are now well organized and I actually enjoy taking my time browsing the aisles looking for hidden treasures! I am blown away by the options they have for inexpensive home decor. They also have decent looking furniture! I have found many items here that I also find in "regular" stores, but here it is usually at least half the price... and no, nothing is expired or past dates! The store is clean and employees are friendly. If you haven't been to a Big Lot's in awhile, give them a shot! They've definitely improved everything!

I prefer the accessibility of this store/location. CLEAN/bright conducive lighting/high ceiling gives nice open/relaxed shopping experience. Knowledgeable courteous employees. Great selections, well organized, items displayed are highly visible. CONSISTENTLY stocked neatly...makes shopping a pleasure. Returns are easy if needed. They offer to check other locations if they are not stocked with a given item.

Love this spot! Have gone there for a few years now. Great prices, great selections. As the years go on, they get better and better products. My favorite things to browse/purchase:
-Organic foods and snacks
-Decor for bed and bathroom and living room
-Tons of cleaning products
-Affordable make up/body washes
-Indoor/Outdoor furniture and accessories
-Currently they have bomb essential oils! Bigger bottles for less of the cost at any of other store

Dee is probably one of the best employees I have had assisting me. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about furniture. He even helped me load all of the furniture on to my truck!!!! I’m not sure if big lots watched these so I’m also doing a review on the website and the one on my receipt. Thanks again man I wouldn’t have gotten it done without you!!!
