It's always a pleasure to come here. Huge selection of books at great prices. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Don't bother buying new books anymore, just come to the Mesa or Phoenix location of Half Priced Books and you'll always find more than what you're looking for!

I barely got into the books as they had a pretty great music selection. So great that I’m hesitant to write this. Prices were very fair and the book selection was awesome. Staff was a also friendly. Thanks for a great experience.

What a great buck and media store! Love the atmosphere, staff, and selection. They always have a great selection, and it’s never too busy. You can even find a place to sit down most of the time. They recommended place to visit on a date, or when you just want to browse a cozy bookstore.

I’ve been coming to this bookstore since I was 16. I no longer live in Arizona but every time I visit (once a year) I come here and pick up books. I am an avid mythology/demonology book collector and they never disappoint. I have a small library in my house from these guys!

Huge bookstore! Was tired of reading my same Pete The Cat books to granddaughter, so bought her two new ones. Two for the price of one, can't complain about that. Thank you!

Love it! So many great things! Books, movies, music, crafts, and so much more. Definitely recommend if you are looking to sell or buy. Very kind and helpful staff as well. Love it!

My review of Half Priced Books. Their operation hours can be different from what is posted on line but it is worth the wait. This is exactly what East Mesa needs. It gives you an opportunity to recycle old material (there is a 50 item limit) and to buy new material at a very good value. I love their archive section that has old books with the fancy binding and gilded covers. There are also DVD and vinal records

They have a lot many handicapped parking spaces immediately in front of their store. Unfortunately I did not see a ramp that would allow a wheelchair to have immediate and easy access to the store and the doors are not automated so you would need to have someone hold the door for a wheelchair to get into this store. They do have red shopping carts that can allow you to more easily transport your books from outside to the purchasing counter.

They have a great section of manga, comic books, games and puzzles. I saw many great and unique gifts. I found toy unicorn stuff in unexpected places. I thought that was fun. The childrens section was neat and tidy with a fantastic range of childrens series.

There is a community board. Waterfountain and restrooms in the back but thise are not accessible during these covid19 times. Each isle is one way. Social distancing reminders are marked on the floors and alcoves have reminder sign of: One person at a time per alcove.

In the back right corner, there is a clearance section. DVD's as well as books.

What's not to love? It's a bookstore!
They seemed to have a large and varied selection of books at great prices. We'll be going back.

Always a fan of Half Price. Interesting selection. A rare selection of magazines and out of print books. Healthy helping of LPs, DVDs, and VHS.

The jazz record selection here is surprisingly fantastic — picked up some nice LPs! The selection here was good all around, and the staff member who worked the register when I checked out gave me a great recommendation to watch.

I loved this used book store! They will assess your books while you shop. I found some sweet comic books to buy for my son and will return for some of my favorites by an out of print author I love.

Half priced books really lived up to its name! Well organized with a vast selection. The prices ARE really and truly affordable. They even have a new book section for those of you who like the new book smell ;p. If you want a handful of your favorite books without spending 3 figures... this is your spot!

Very friendly employees. I can't walk far, so Marcie went and got the book I needed for my son. On the way out, I saw a display of metal signs. Terrific prices

I've been buying comic books from this store and making furniture with them. It's turning out pretty good so far. Half price books has a wonderful selection of comic books older and newer. It's a neat little place to stop in and check out.
