Hometown small town feel. Loved the store and all the gift options they have. They also have a cafe on the second floor.

The owners were very nice and attentive. Cool selection of clothing, gifts, and odds and ends at reasonable prices. Adorable little cafe upstairs.

I was able to find a specific type of hat here for less than half the price of basically the same hat at our usual shop (a popular three-letter outdoor co-op). The hats are super cute, and I’m thrilled at how functional they are as little folding hats made from sun protection technical fabric.

I was only in town visiting my mom, but I’m definitely going to make this shop a required stop whenever I am in town in the future.

What a beautiful experience my son and I had at your store. It was so much fun and we found lots of good things to get.

Very cute shop! My family and I were visiting and decided to shop around for souvenirs to bring back home. I was a little disappointed in their magnet selection but the ladies were very friendly and tried as best they could to accommodate what we were looking for!

I love that they offer holiday decor for fall and Christmas as well as thoughtful gifts that are not too pricey. It doesn’t hurt that they have an awesome candy selection too!

If we ever pop back in to Morgantown, we will be sure to pay a visit.

This place is just fun, and my young children also find this place enjoyable. Their selection is great and diverse, and seems to change at least somewhat in between visits. Without fail, the staff have been friendly, engaging and courteous. It is always an fun addition to a weekend jaunt for a stroll downtown.

I love shopping here. They have lots of unique items as well as regular ones. Swede's Café is located upstairs and has delicious coffees and food.

Unique, fun, delicious, homey, trendy - five words to describe the range and variety of product offerings the Morganton General Store has to offer. Kitchen to Christmas, beach to mountains, home to hobbies - I love coming to browse and see what's new plus restock my favorites. And they have quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar on tap! Definitely worth a visit!

Stopped through for late breakfast/lunch - passingthroughMorganton. Sat outside because we had our dog with us. Great service. Husband enjoyed pork sandwich and I had a good biscuit w egg and bacon. Will come again

Visited late in the evening the lady there was so nice it's so helpful the store has a wonderful feel to it I really enjoyed shopping there bought a couple small items it's well-stocked with all kinds of different items for the kitchen clothing just a nice variety really enjoyed it

A huge variety of items for everyone in the family! A treasure chest of foods, candy, adorable clothes, art work, gifts and more. So fun to browse with new products coming in each day!

Came in a few days ago, a red headed guy made my frappuccino and it wasn't good. Next day a girl made it and it wasn't;'t good. Today I came in and spoke with an older guy with a beard. He sympathized with me, and profusely apologized to me, he made my drink and I went to pay and he instead paid for it for me and he said he is fixing the coffee menu so people do it right. I took my first sip and it was out of this world. If you order a frappuccino make sure to get the guy with the beard I see in town that wears the Jewish hat. He makes the best frappuccino around here. I was impressed with how much he apologized and tried to make it right for me. Though I had two bad experiences, I gave 5 stars because you had an employee that wanted to make it better for me and he did. That is real customer service.

Neat little store with an assortment of "local themed" items, unique gifts, tees, jewelry, toys, puzzles, old fashioned candy, etc. They even have a small café in the loft area upstairs.

Been shopping in this cool “little bit of everything” Store every time I have come to Morganton. They have cool merchandise and friendly staff! They have always had some cool treasure for me to buy for my home! ❣❣❣❣❣
