Stop by and ask them. I've been shopping at this store for many years. Overall this store is wonderful and has the most available merchandise for sale and in the merchandise is always in pristine condition. The associates are nice friendly and professional and definitely try their hardest to help you find everything that you are searching for when you walk in the store. However, in my opinion there is one associate that stands out above the rest of the staff. Her name is Taryn and I had the pleasure of speaking with her as a customer. Ms Taryn was so kind and bubbly and charming yet professional when speaking to me and she is such a huge refreshing breath of air for her customer service experience compared to other retail businesses in the area of that specific store. It is individuals such as Ms Taryn that make me beyond confident that I can walk into the store and find whatever I am looking for and leave with as much satisfaction as humanly possible as a paying customer. Overall I would grade the store with a grade of A and Ms Taryn's customer service as an A++. I recommend anyone to go out of their way to go to the New Bern branch of books a million in the hopes of having the same customer service interaction with Taryn as I just did.

While other book stores have disappeared Books-A-Million seems to be doing well. They have a tremendous selection of books, audio books, magazines, comic, gifts and toys. And they have great coffee at Joe Muggs just inside.

I was extremely shocked when I entered this store for the first time, it has an extensive collection of books for such a small town! There is even a whole DnD section that blew me away, and I ended up buying a book I needed from that section without having planned to do it. The whole staff is extremely sweet and willing to help you find what you need or order it if they don't have it. Their membership is a great deal too- with deals going on all the time making the savings immense! I can't wait for Covid to not be a concern so I can lounge in their coffee shop and read the books I've bought- they do have it open right now and I've visited, but I want to see all the people coming in and out too! There are also tons of toys and gift options, so I know where I'll be going for unique gifts and toys for my family.

Nice quiet atmosphere. Delicious coffee shop with a cafe seating area. Wide variety of products, many books, good selection of Dungeons and Dragons, lots of magazines. Great place for finding that odd gift.

We loved the selection and prices qrent bad for the quality you get.What really makes it great is the amazing customer service especially by the one that goes by tim.

Large store with an exceptionally large selection. Kind and friendly staff. They have quite a large bargain section which has books of all you can imagine, everyone can find something for cheap they will enjoy! Happily surprised to see they had a lot of very nice $3 calendars for sale. Full size, top quality and a variety of subjects to choose from, not some cheap, generic selections, either! The only thing I dislike about the store is that they open late in my opinion (10am), but I get that they probably wouldn't get much business before that time. Either way, awesome store! Will definitely be going back more often!

The staff is nice and has an insane selection of books I personally bought Rhett and links book of mythicallity from there and so far have been loving it definitely plan to go back and get more

Largest and best bookstore we have ever visited. All genres of books, well organized and very friendly staff. Some discount books but no used book section. Spacious isles. Coffee shop in the store. Simply superb!

I love book stores and this one didn't disappoint. Very well organized and spacious. Sale on lots of bonds in different sections. Was worth the drive to New Bern

The best customer service I have ever dealt with. Super amazing. They accidentally sent me the wrong book. I called them and they were so helpful and very pleasant to talk to. They also shipped out the right book right away. Will most definitely buy more buys from them.

Clean, Quiet, and Well Organized. Staff were friendly and knew the locations of what was sought. Kinda wished I could smell the coffee when I walked in. (They go hand in hand you know) But it was slow and only a few people thought the store. Wouldn't think about going back. Cheers.

This place has a little bit of everything. Books, Funko Pops, Magazines, Gifts, Toys, Trinkets, Education Materials, a lil coffee Cafe. Love this place.

Alil pricey but all in all it's my favorite place to go to and look at all the toys they carry as they have the Five nights at freddys (security breach ) toys such as the sun and moon day care assistant

I don't know what happened here, but we used to be able to find some relevant cookbooks by current chefs. Now what we find is a cookbook for the Mandolorian or for tea for Downton Abbey. We miss the more serious cookbooks. Sorry Emos, but the Darth Vador, Dowton Abbey, and other cookbooks are silly

I am a book o phobe, and this place was wonderful.
My first time in the store and a clerk helped me find what I wanted.

The store is very nice and organized, and the employees are typically always very nice! The Joe Muggs inside is quiet as well, and the Affagato Frappe is delicious.
