I walked into this candy store on Main St in Hackettstown NJ and WOW What a Surprise I walked into - A Back to the Future Experience to be sure!
This quaint ole candy store was walking back into my childhood days. The sights, the smells, the Taste of the homemade chocolates!! The old fashioned toys!!!! What a delight to my eyes and taste buds!
Chocolate's galore! All handmade in the back of the store! Truly melts right in your mouth!

I have a friend in assisted living in Hackettstown who had a birthday along with a sweet tooth. I live in Wisconsin and didn’t have the pleasure of visiting Tracey’s shop but I DEFINITELY had the pleasure of dealing with her. She was so incredibly professional and attentive and helpful with selecting my friend’s gift. However when she realized I needed it delivered she apologized saying they didn’t deliver. Oh my! I wasn’t sure how I could get it to my friend, but Tracey offered to make an exception and actually delivered it for me. Well as time went on it came to my attention my friend didn’t get her gift. After speaking to Tracey and the facility several times it became pretty apparent someone else at the facility also had an evil sweet tooth 😩 When Tracey heard of the dilemma she didn’t hesitate to deliver a second order, no charge. I told her it wasn’t necessary as it wasn’t her fault but it was pretty obvious Tracey goes above and beyond. While I doubt she’ll ever be kind enough to do a delivery again, understandably so, I’ve no doubt her kindness and generosity will come back to her three-fold.
I am soooo grateful there are still people who are professionals and compassionate like Tracey💕

We used Tracey’s chocolate truffles as our wedding favors and let me tell you she did not disappoint!!! ALL of our guests loved the truffles and so did we! She was so easy to work with and when we had to add a 5th truffle at the last minute she was able to deliver without issue. Highly recommend!

Always a pleasure stopping in! It's like walking into a Hallmark movie...especially during the Holidays. Everyone there is so friendly & helpful, & the chocolates & fudge are delicious!

Tracey's makes to own European chocolates barely a mile from a chocolate factory and their great - the alcohol infused truffles are amazing and unique, as well as all the classics, and quirky chocolate covered goodies - pineapple, mango, Twinkies, marshmallows and more.

Tons of hard to find and candies long forgotten eras, like candy cigarettes an toxic waste.

My favorites are the bourbon infused truffle, the white Belgian chocolate bars, sea salt caramels and white chocolate nonpareils.

Tracey's Candy Shoppe is like stepping back in time. All the candies you remember as a kid. But then oh my the amazing chocolate!!!

I've passed by so many times and decided to stop in for a box of chocolates for a friend's birthday. Not only did nostalgia set in the moment I stepped into the store as I gazed upon the variety of candies from my youth, I was also eager to check out the homemade chocolates. Tracey welcomed me with a free truffle (German chocolate cake - yum!) as this was my first visit and helped me curate a truffle gift box for my friend. She was super friendly and I could tell she was passionate about chocolate. I'm definitely going back for more chocolate in the very near future. Try it out and support our local economy!

Super Sweet owner and staff. No pun intended, but really very nice and they have some delicious options and some old school candy. Highly recommended.

My kids love this shop & beg to go whenever we drive past it. Tracey is super friendly and helpful, & very knowledgeable about chocolate. The store has so many wonderful candy options, from delicious chocolates made in-store to fun candies I remember from my own childhood. Definitely visit when you are in the area...I promise you won’t regret it!

Just sweet. Yes, yes, a play on the words...but - I went there to go to an old skool candy shoppe and that's what I got.
I loved the set up - the flow of the store. The selection - while not EXTENSIVE - good enough to bring nostalgia and "I want that!"
The lass behind the counter was very patient with some young girls who were taking a lot of time,while keeping the rest of us in her sights and being pleasant (and appologetic!) to us.
My truffle was OUT OF THIS WORLD. There is nothing like a GOOD fresh chocolate. Mmmmmm!

What to say about Traceys Candy Shoppe. Hmmmm. This has to be the cutest store that I’ve ever been to! Tracey was so nice and helpful that I just wanted to buy everything in it! It has a 1950’s vintage candy shop feel that is just to die for.

Really great to have a candy shop in town. They have a great selection of homemade chocolates. They have both French and Belgian custom chocolates. I had stopped in to get some fudge, which they had. But it was the chocolates that made me come back.

Harkens back to the old local candy store that has gone to the wayside. They make their own chocolate and also sell a variety of new and nostalgic candies you don't see at the grocery store or convenience store. Love coming here to get something special for the wife, like liquor chocolates, or something special for myself like chocolate covered bacon.

If you are looking for some amazing Belgian chocolate this is your place. Some of the best Jersey shore salt water taffy in the state and much more. All set in a charming setting. Much like an old fashion 5 and dime. A real treasure.

Quality Belgium chocolate .Tracey made up a beautiful basket of chocolate she added my bottle of champagne/ and Christmas decorations/ she is so flexible and talented she even arranged for delivery its a must place to visit .

The owner gave us a complete history of the different types of chocolates, as well as some samples. The chocolate was amazing, especially the French chocolate and the chocolate covered gramham crackers. Definitely a must go to place.

Tracey’s is a wonderful candy shop. Many varieties of candy and also fudge and truffles. Tracey is a sweetheart and she makes it an even more pleasant experience.

Such a cute shop! Employees are super nice and helpful! GREAT selection of candy and the truffles are SO delicious! I will absolutely be visiting this store often!
