Price wisely not always happy, but acceptable.
Some are really low price when they are on sale though.

My Favorite supermarket! The staff is very helpful & shelves are ALWAYS very well stocked. Meat department is AMAZING. They have a nice selection of different products that you normally don't find in a typical supermarket & have a nice beer section as well. Highly recommend this store

The music playing was definitely not great..something more soothing will keep a customer in store buying longer . .I was anxious to get out!

This place has everything you'd ever need in a supermarket. It meets needs of all kinds! I would definitely recommend shopping here. Too bad I live nowhere near it. I was going for a COVID test (required for a surgical procedure)at the NYP clinic two doors away.

When I moved into the auburndale area in 1963 this was hills in the late '70s I worked at what was wabam's and now the food emporium has made the same space into a really nice supermarket. I go to it now to help my aunt out who's still lives there in the area.

Only place that I know of that carries Mushroom Coffee!

The renovation has brought a fresh breathe of air to this long standing grocery store. A new clean vibe. Helpful staff. Great selection of international items, gluten free and organics. The produce section is my favorite of any grocery store locally. The dairy free selection also huge and plentiful alcohol isle makes this my go to especially with a fast check out section. 10/10

A Lot of choice! Very good produce, fresh bakery, assorted meats and frozen. Some prices were higher than my closer supermarket, Stop&Shop, some prices were very good. I was in the neighborhood so I stopped in. A lot of choice in dairy section also. Gourmet products. Can be found. Good deli.

Excellent experience always. Good sale prices. Very good produce, meat selection and frozen foods. Also a wide variety of of yogurt. Cashiers are very friendly as are customer service personnel. I shop here 2-3 times per week at times.

Plenty of free parking. Available is fresh fruit, veggies, cold cuts, and meats. Store also has a lot to machine and bottle return. Staff is very helpful. Store is just the right size and stocked to get in and find what you need, and to pay with cashier or self check out, and make it home to catch your tv shows like Talk Dat.Talk or the baseball or sports games, or to get lunch or dinner ready.

It's a very nice store, run by the same staff when it was Waldbaums. The prices of the groceries are good and also of the meat. In fact the meat prices are very good as is the quality.the store was recently renovated, they did a very nice job and makes it pleasant to shop there.

Grocery shopping is not one of my favorite activities, but Food Universe makes it as painless as possible. Parking is easy. There is a good variety of food choices. The staff is helpful. The fruits and veggies appear to be fresh. I don't think a reasonable person should expect more

Kosta, the assistant manager here, was very very nice and kind to us! He went above and beyond and was very helpful.

This supermarket has everything. It’s on the high side price-wise but honestly in nyc it’s on par with the usual. They have great variety in everything, good meat/poultry, and the store is very organized and clean. It’s just a nice store and I always find what I need there.
