Ideal Food Basket

This is my favorite place to do grocery shopping. The place is clean and well organized, and the staff is always helpful when I ask for assistance. It's a little pricey but worth it for the freshness of the food.

Everything is so clean and organized. And a variety of items. Most prices are better than the Ideal store I go to, on Foch Blvd. I am very impressed, and am going to consider using this Ideal, though it's a bit further from me.

Very neat and clean, mostly the prices are good, professional and good sellers, there is also a hot coffee drink at a reasonable price, they also sell single beer in this area because many of the big stores in this area only sell in quantities.

I genuinely love this supermarket. It is not as big as Food Bizarre, but it has a good selection of food and different brands of each food or ingredient. The one they place items is very organized. There produce is usually always fresh and watered (for the vegetables). They also have a section in the store for premade lunch sandwiches for a decent price. The Alan have other premade cold options but they’re not all that good. They also have a deli area for hot foods and salads. Ideal is a 20 minute walk from my home but I know I’ll get my moneys worth, so I always make the trip because I trust them the most than other supermarkets in Jamaica Ave area

Large store on Sutphin Boulevard Jamaica. A really good supermarket with a great inventory selection of items. What's interesting here, is the deli section. The deli's-
large counter run efficiently with a bakery on one side for fresh bread 🍞. They sell hot and cold food, barbecue chickens. Salads made fresh in the front of the deli counter, (You can purchase with EBT cold food.)- A large selection of already made items ( prepackaged but made in the deli.) Macaroni, potato salad Etc, -sandwiches -desserts -yogurts as well as a Bakery and Cake Department right behind the already made sandwich section. It should be noted as the reviewer and someone who has worked in the supermarket industry for quite a number of years and in Food Services- - it is safe to say that this Food Deli ⭐⭐⭐⭐ counter and store is a step above most others definitely worth checking out..👍

Great supermarket.. always find what I'm looking for!!

Well lit, clean, item priced correctly, shelves are always stocked and neatly packed. Great selection of vegan items.
Deli has a great assortment of meats and cheese. Awesome selection of other cheeses that are fresh cut and packaged by the pound. Meat, fruits and vegetables are always fresh. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the items they have, self checkout is very convenient and easy to use, but someone is there to assist if needed. They also have delivery if you live in the area. Great supermarket! Highly recommend!

Excellent variety, great customer service, and awesome prices

Great store!! Fresh produce, lots of variety, great prices, no store loyalty card needed. The meats always look fresh and the variety meats beats any large grocery store I've ever shopped. Ideal is my new go-to supermarket. They know what customers wanted

This is a large, clean and fully stock supermarket. All the shelves are neatly packed and very clearly labeled. Staff are always pricing and packing the shelves neatly. Staff are also supportive and friendly. This supermarket runs a new sale every week and attracts customers from near and far. This is a high traffic area and parking is available nearby at paid parking lots during the week. Buses and trains are available nearby.

I Love Shopping there. The food is very fresh. The price of everything is Great. This store is a very great store to do your Shopping.

Not bad.
They now have self checkout.
Which is good and bad thing at the same time.
Cashier will lose their job but the good thing is for customers.

Since they don't have to wait in line to checkout their items.

Ideal Supermarkets are a great place to shop for yourself and family. The aisles are well stocked and the market is clean. I always get great bargains on my favorite food items. They keep the Applegate products in stock. I also love their brand chicken Alfredo pizza. Just be aware that you have to bring your own plastic bags now!

Wide variety of selection. Very big, clean. After shopping here for a few months I can see that they always have weekly sale. Reasonable price. Highly recommend you visit here! One thing though they are always stocked, never seen an empty shelf.
