Food Lion

This is my first grocery store review, and I don’t normally write them. This is a well-stocked FL with nice people. No complaints whatsoever, other than it can get busy around rush hour, because the store is popular. Whoever is managing this place is doing a great job.

I was traveling to Ocean City Maryland when I decided to make a quick pit stop to try to use a restroom here.. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised how welcoming and clean this Food Lion Market was.. almost wish I lived in that area just to shop there

On Sunday morning, Oct 9, 2022, I had a wonderful encounter with a cashier at check out lane 2. I had walked to the store with some cash in my pocket. I bought a few items and was short by a bit more than a dollar. I asked for an item to be removed, but the very cheerful, friendly cashier pulled a couple bills out of her pocket & said, oh don't worry, I've got it! She was so generous & kind, what a terrific customer service cashier you have! Thank you!

Good grocery store with well organised and affordable price.

This store was clean and organized. The produce was fresh and appealing. The deli was well stocked with plenty of grab and go options. The $6 deli deal of pre-bundled packs with a meat and cheese combo makes for quick lunch suggestions. Although there is no fresh seafood department, there is a nice selection of cryovak fresh seafood with preseasoned options. All at fair prices.

I like that I can get in and out with no problem. And they don't have self checkout there🤷🏾‍♂

GREAT PRODUCE! I was surprised at the variety and quality of their produce section. A little uneven the first few weeks but has been solid now for awhile. Only thing is their organic choices are pretty small, but it's a relatively smaller supermarket.

Customer service is great, much more than other supermarkets in the area. They are always very helpful and the lines are never long (many more aisles open than other stores.

Nice variety compared to other grocery stores in the area. Also some very good sales prices. It took me about a minute to sign up at their MVP kiosk to get extra savings. I also like that you easily know what your cold items are because they put them in blue plastic bags. I recycle the bags so very helpful concept for my 82 yr old father when unpacking groceries.

I wrote a review 2 years ago and gave FL a 4-Star rating. 2 years later I'm changing it to a 5-Star because through this past year-and-a-half during the pandemic, this store stayed safely operational. What impressed me the most is that before the vaccines came out, FL was the only grocery store that I know who staffed the entrance with a cart attendant who wiped down the carts. Very, very impressive! I have also never waited more than 5 minutes in line. Staff and managers are always helpful and friendly.

Love my Food Lion!!! 100% improved since my last post. I'm a loyal customer and really feel like they read my original post. Keep up the good work!!!

This is a great friendly store always well stocked and great prices nice store elderly friendly and college students friendly also easy in and out no long lines

Less expensive than the Newark Acme stores but smaller so less product on display. Only frozen seafood available. That said it's my local neighborhood "go to" for my grocery and dry goods requirements. Ample parking.

The cashiers are extremely nice! It is very clean. It’s a small grocery store but they still have everything I need and more! I’ve only had great experiences shopping here.

I've gotta say, my co-workers and I go into this grocery store almost everyday and their employee, Alan, is always in a good mood. This a review for Alan, keep being a good person.

Ample fresh produces, clean aisles and friendly staffs. Food lion turned out to be my go-to for quick groceries. Great deals!

Very solid grocery store, just the right size in my opinion. I haven't seen cereal that cheap since I was a child! All around recommend.

New Manager! This store is great! Organic items everywhere, the spice isle, the produce isle, and the dairy isle. The store is clean and the staff is helpful.

Great selection, pleasant, helpful staff and right near home. My grocery bill is lower now that I'm shopping here. Love this store!
