Always have received great service at this foodlion. Employees are friendly and always willing to help. The managers I have delt with listen and makes sure I'm satisfied and always exceeds my expectations. Katie in the deli is not only beautiful but extremely friendly, professional and seems like she really cares about her customers. Thank you

The Food Lion at Holden Beach is awesome! I always find what I need at great prices and everyone in the store is so helpful. The bakery is delicious, the produce is nice and the sushi at the deli is our favorite! It’s a great place to shop!!

The 2 times that I have had a small purchase problem, Janet has assisted me. Even when her day had been difficult (lots of broken eggs to clean up), she was friendly and helpful and just plain awesome! Holden Beach Food Lion is lucky to have her as a representative!

One of the cleanest food lions I have ever been in. Was very busy but extremely fast service and checkout. Everything I needed for the week was in stock and fresh. Could not ask for anything more.

First: Been going to Brunswick County Beache's for 70 plus years ...even when they had the 4 car ferry across the waterway... Love reading all these lowest reviews ...I get a good laugh ... Lady said, if you don't like this store, you can drive a FEW MILES down the road to Shallotte .. A few miles, like 20 round trip ... I'am not driving to Shallotte over bad apples... As long as they have Miller High Life in the bottles, Food Lion is my store for groceries .. A few days ago. "Not gonna shop here anymore, going somewhere else". Yeah, sure you are and where's that? Take it from me.... Before Food Lion arrived ...no big grocery, no ABC ... 20+ miles round trip to Shallotte for milk, bread & booze...and that's just from the bridge...not the west end ... add another 14+ miles round trip if you drive from there ... Might not be the best, but it's all you've got ... Back in the day, (1950's/60's/70's etc) it was almost a half day trip to Shallotte and back ...nothin' worse than being a youngster and having to ride to Shallotte and back in a hot car, no AC, while your folks shopped ...talk about miserable ...Last stop was the Shallotte Ice house before refrigerators had ice makers and don't get me started on those laundromat trips ...must have been 120 degrees in those places back then before beach houses had washers & dryers .. Ugh!!! TODAY: All around Holden Beach ... "Honey, would you please fix me a drink, ice from our Ice makin' refrigerator, a few chips & dip please ma'am"?... Honey, will you please put the AC on 55, it's hot as hell in here Sure glad we don't have to drive all the way to Shallotte today..."We just love our Food Lion" ...

The store is always clean,employees are always nice & always ask did I find what I was looking for. Holden Beach Lion employees are always nice & courteous & all throughout the store workers ask if they can help me find something. Great place to shop. Although with all the new reset/remodel.Management & teamwork makes a store a pleasure to shop in. I rate Holden Beach Food Lion a #10

I stopped off at Food Lion on my way home from church. Let me just say those guys were doing an amazing job keeping the shelves and meat coolers stocked. As fast as people were taking it off the shelves the employees were loading them up again. Like everywhere else Food Lion is so short staffed but I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful customer service everyone was provided. Hats off to the manager and employees, all your hard work is greatly appreciated.

Fast and easy fair prices good cashiers store has remodeled very nice, remodel went great,up dated computers made a big difference

Love this store. They have everything I need and I believe it is the best Food Lion around. I do not purchase meats anywhere else!

Great grocery Store...Food Lion has been my grocery store since it's beginning as "Food Town" originating in my home town of Salisbury, N.C.
I love Food Lion! Reasonable prices. Great food selections, fresh produce, awesome Hot Bar in most of the Food Lions, and the Best comment is the Nice and friendly Managers, Customer service people and cashiers and all the other staff that work at Food Lion!😉

Decent Food lion for the most part. It's location leaves it being extremely busy most of the time. They very rarely are out of anything and try to keep the store as clean as they can considering the amount of traffic they get. This store is arranged a little different than some of the others close by so it'll take you a little bit to get use to it. Overall a good grocery store.

I worked here for over two years as a front end associate and I loved it. I had good experiences with nearly all my co-workers. This Food Lion has great customer service, good management, and excellent produce. (Let's be honest here. Everybody knows Walmart produce sucks. Food Lion is where it's at.) Shout out to the produce guys for making it happen! Also, I love the sushi people. Sushi is freshly made here everyday, and it's fantastic. Get on it, ya'll! Also, shout out to manager Regina! I will probably never again have the pleasure of working for someone so wonderful. If you see her, give her some love. Overall, the atmosphere of this Food Lion is positive, friendly, and customer oriented.

I am really glad to have a good grocery store right in Supply/Holden Beach. It is small but has everything I generally need. The store is clean, and the staff helpful.

I am not generally a fan of Food Lions. This one, however, is excellent. They are always very well staffed (at least during vacation season) so that even if it is crowded it does not take forever to check out. The store is clean and offers a good selection of products. Their beer selection is very good; I was surprised to see some uncommon craft brews available.

Best Grocery store I've ever shopped in....the management is very supportive and hands on...He's a very helpful and always smiling. He is a very hard worker, I see him working, with his coworkers, helping them put out merchandise so they shelves are kept stocked for our community...he is an awesome team player, member, leader...

If you are vacationing at Holden Beach, this is basically your only option for a grocery store. However, I was very surprised by how fast we were able to checkout during the weekend rush. The staff was also very friendly and the store was very clean.
