Chaser's Sports Bar & Grill

Found the best wings ever. Discovered the spot and continue to stop in every time we come to Oak Island. Laid back bar and grill vibe, great wings and cold beer, what more can you ask for!! The folks here treat us like one of the locals and make us feel right at home.

The owner suggested the cheese curds to us and they were fantastic! Great food, cool atmosphere, and prices are reasonable compared to other places. It can’t get much better! They no longer have jalapeño poppers for those wondering.

We love the $2.00 tacos on Wednesdays. They have specials on drinks everyday, great bar food, especially the wings.

I'm not a huge sports fan, but it was a great place for my husband to watch the Browns game on a Sunday afternoon with other sports fans. My husband enjoyed the ham & beans soup especially.

Good food....can be a wait...otherwise great place

A great place with great atmosphere. Mike is a delight when he isnt busy and can talk to you. Amy is a great person and both are great bar tenders. Went thisbtime to eat and the food is still great. If you haven't been you need to go. Just remember if its game day it can be crowded.

Still great food and cold beer. Love the buffslo shrimp but everything has been good. Its a must stop for me when I can
11/17/22. Well lunch again with Mike...Amy was in the back. We went with great friends and they suggested Chasers for their taco salad. I dont think I got a pic the ones I am adding ia another trip. I got the buffalo shrimp and they were awesome as always. They got the salads and I will be back to try one of them. They said theybwere awesome. But this is a great stop but when a game is on you might not get in. (Well couldnt even find new pics) but more will come

Mike is a great bartender. Treated us right. Wings with lemon pepper and hot sauce are real good.

In town on business googled a place to eat and this place popped up. Walked in the staff greeted us seated us immediately. The food was great, and the price was unbelievable for the amount of food you received . Definitely a hidden gem and when they say they have the best chicken wings in Brunswick County they certainly do for the last 10 years running. We will be back for sure.

My husband and I went on the 1st night of our getaway and then had to go every day after that. Wings are amazing! The staff was so awesome! The bartender Amy was too cool for words! Great job to the owners for making Chasers what it is!

Ate there several times was in town for a wedding. Everything we tried was delicious and well prepared.

The BEST chicken wings on OKI and possibly the best I’ve ever had! We had the BBQ and the garlic and loved them equally!

I've been coming to Oak Island for 19 years. We were trying to figure out where to eat tonight and I decided for the family to go here after reading the reviews. Can't believe it's taken us this long to discover this place. We all got something different but it all came out fast, hot and delicious. We all highly recommend.

If I could give Mike more stars I would, he definitely is a character!

Great hole inthe wall place! With great wings. My wife's family is from Buffalo NY and even they recommended the pool room wings hot!! The flounder was even better! Will be coming back next time we vist!

We spontaneously decided to go here and at first we were a bit doubtful that we’d actually like it but it was really great! We’ve had tasty food and a awesome chat with the guy that served us. Turned out that he actually was born in a town very close to where we live in Germany! Very nice place with nice food and an actual American dining experience! Liked it a lot :)

Hands down, the best bar at Oak Island. I come from Pennsylvania where we have some of the best "real" bars in the country and Chaser's absolutely met all my expectations. I got a few good laughs in the hour or so I was there. The mild wings I had were UNBELIEVABLE. I've had wings all over this area and these were the best I had as if they were prepared by a master. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable bar with the best wings around. I'd also recommend this place to anyone who hasn't had a good laugh in a while. Gladly, I'll return.

Damn good burger, wings/strips were great. And the ex military working at the bar made it fun and entertaining.

Love the laid back atmosphere... But the wings....oh the wings.... the best you'll ever eat. I've eaten wings all over the US... but never this good.

We did take out from here twice on our trip to Oak Island. On both occasions the service was excellent and the food was awesome. The wings and cheeseburger are really good, I think it's the way they toast the bun on the burger that makes it so good coupled with the fact that it's not overcooked. I am not sure what the reviews about bad service on here are all about. We did not experience that, on both occasions the staff was highly courteous on the phone and the bartender was very personable when I picked up the food. I will say the Oak Island restaurant industry seems to be really struggling with getting people to work as most places are closed or turn off their phones for takeout orders and have incredibly long wait times for dine in. This restaurant answered the phone both times and we couldn't have been happier with both the service and high quality of food.

Get the poolside mild chicken wings and fried cauliflower! Divine!

Wings are top-notch, best We have had! Mike’s attention to detail and servicing customers is outstanding. This will be a regular place to eat for us.
