Great choice of tap beers and a good size refrigerated section. Great place to relax or grab n go. I have seen children in here during the day but not at night. You can also bring food in here since they don’t sell food which is nice. Pet friendly too. Staff are polite but not outgoing. I’m not a regular. I do recommend.

This was my first time trying out the Beer Shop with my out of town friend. It had a nice atmosphere with lots of choices of beer. Highly recommend that s'mores stout. The staff was friendly and let us know that people sit in to work all the time. They had board games on the side and dogs are allowed. Because of that, not a lot of food options. I think we saw some chips. It's in a area where you have access to several parking lots wirhin walking distance and the metra/green line was at most a block away. I'll have to stop by again when work is not so hectic.

Friendly and neighborly place to have a sip. Buy something from the fridge to take home. Relax in an overstuffed chair or the sofa if you don’t want to sit at the bar. Fido is welcomed.

Ambience is crucial. Cool owner, great music, and vast selection of craft beers, and on top of that the fact they just have beer and wine you’re not going to get so many rowdy drunks like you would a regular bar. The most rowdy thing you’ll get here is a dog barking. hilarious posters in the bathroom, Nintendo switch and tv and board games but personally I enjoy the Tokyo Drift coffee with 30mg hemp soothes chronic pain and again there’s no rowdies so ironically it’s a good place to focus and write. At least when they don’t have the DJ in who is deafening in a way I think other people enjoy but not me.

Lindsay is always great! We come here a couple times every week and she always provides us with fast and attentive service! We love her playlist it’s always 🔥🔥🔥

There is so much to do in Oakpark.
We're bikes for beer here. Cycling and dogs friendly beer shop. Shade outdoor seats at the front and bicycle rack. Wine by bottles and so many beer by can. Great draft beers, as well.

Been here many times over the years. It's a great spot to meet new people. It has a nice community vibe. You can just strike up a conversation with the person sitting next to you. You can also bring your dog if you have one.

Cool place! Was really looking forward to going since we stayed nearby. Good tap selection and a good, albeit small, can selection. I walked away with 7 but there was a discount on six so that was a nice surprise. Neat atmosphere here as well.

This place is awesome. An amazing selection of craft beer and it's always changing! You can get beer on draft, buy 6 packs to go, or buy a six and drink a couple there! It's fun to watch all the dogs run around and pet then if they come up to you. To bad my dog is too crazy to bring her here.

Amazing craft beer selection on tap and in cans in a cooler than you can enjoy there or take home as a case. Had so much fun here last night. Nice scene. They have a bunch of free old school board games for you to play. The wall decor is random art centered on pop culture and sports. Crowd is mixed. It’s in a cute outdoor shopping mall. Bathrooms are clean.

No place like this in Oak Park, always a well-curated beer selection with willing and knowledgeable tenders. They stock cold beer too. What else do you need?

You just can't beat this selection or the knowledge that the team has. There are a lot of places to buy beer in Chicago, why not support the friendly people with some of the best?!

Great place with good beer and even better people!

Small but cozy, a perfect lil neighborhood spot. No frills, just cool beer and the coolest bartenders. Can come to watch a game, date night, or just hang out a bit. Bring your own snacks and the dog.

Super dog friendly (you can bring your dog inside!), and they always have a cider on tap (and wine), for those of us who are gluten free.

On Thursday's in the summer, you can get beer to go (Oak Park has live music outside), and while the outdoor seating area does get crowded, there's plenty of curb space.

Love this place and love trivia! They also take feedback really well and care about their regulars. Would highly recommend as a place to hang out in downtown Oak Park.
