Staff there are extremely helpful and kind and the prices are affordable.

I was totally please today with this Dollar General store they were just sweet as they could be and they had what I was looking for and I had been in earlier and they told me to come back today after church and they would have a do their best to have what I needed and that's when they had was unloading the truck and I went in and they had what I needed and they were the sweetest nicest people you ever want to meet in your life and I was just thrilled with the store everybody in there is just as pleasant as you want them to be say no their jobs well and they have a sense of humor that's out of this world and I was blessed to show up there today and get what I needed and what I was looking for and they helped me in fact they thought they didn't have it in one of the the managers came running after me and caught me before I left in my car and told me I found you what you needed and She chased me down and I got to get it and I was so happy had enough if anybody wants a recommendation of they can get one for me because those people that work in that store are exceptional and they're just as well mannered and and just so helpful. I'll be going there again course I've been there before that these are new people that I just met this week and they are just as helpful as you want them to be

I live off Cane Run (Lou. Ky) & I REFUSE to go into that General Dollar location! However I do go to the Winkler location where it's ALWAYS clean, stocked & the customer service is outstanding!! PLEASE FIX CANE RUN!!

I have been so discouraged from going to the dollar general in my neighborhood (Broadway). Most of the time I have had a bad experience mainly because of rude and nasty cashiers. However, at this store it was a pleasant change. The cashier was friendly and the manager even more. Most wait until the line is really backed up before they step in and open another register. This manager saw only 3 people and immediately came to assist. They both said thank you after my purchase which is again a welcomed courtesy!

The customer service at this store is AMAZING. The staff really take their time to help you find what your looking for, find items for you and even show what items are on sale of those that have digital coupons. Even when short staffed they ring you up as fast as they can and their love for their job + exquisite customer service skills really do shine thru.

The women that work there are very friendly and helpful. It has always been a pleasure to talk to them. Wait times vary quite a bit just depending on how many customers there are. I've been getting an expensive DVDs there. Of course I have many other things food clothing and such

This shop is most valuable for its proximity to my abode. It carries a wide variety of chattels, and, excepting fresh fruits, vegatables, and meats, provides all that is needed to maintain a small household. That said, there have been occasions where I was seeking a very particular thing, and it was out of stock at the moment. The staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the shopkeep always wishes a blessed day upon me as I leave. Most commendable

This is by far the cleanest Dollar general I have ever been in. In fact it was the only clean Dollar general I have ever been in. They did say that they had just been remodeled but the two women working were busy helping customers and appeared to be very proud of their store. It was easy to find what I needed and both women were very welcoming!

This store is the cleanest dollar store I have been to since I've lived in Louisville. Shelves were stocked and the employees knew where I could find everything I needed (kitchen sink drain screen). I would go out of my way to go to this Dollar General.

I went to the store to shop for a young mother on Facebook. This young girls raising a baby with no help from the father. She works but stragglers. As do ii. But my kids are grown. I went in to spend 40 $ to help this girl out. When I explained what I was doing. The cashier chimed in and offered to help out also. Way above and beyond. I worked at DG 8 years. The only bad thing about the job was the pay. The staff at this store is awesome. AMD even though it's not in the best location.... It is one of the best kept stores I've seen in a long time. You go girls you all rock.

Always my favorite go-to store. The employees are amazing and the store is well managed. I always find something new. This dollar general store is my favorite place in Louisville.

Store is very clean and the employees were very aggressive and negative never been in that store till that date and I was up there on wednesday the 11th day of sept and there register wasn't working well and it took my money and the manager on duty as well as the employee was aggressive and talking bad to me I'll never shop that dg again trish is the gm I'll be letting corporate office know about the situation look back at the camera I was polite.

Was medium to well stocked in the refrigerated goods. Seemed busier than normal for a Sunday evening, but the staff was still super friendly!

Not busy, had what I was looking for. Friendly staff. annoying security announcements. Speakers are a little too loud. Not everybody that takes a long time looking around is trying to steal something

It's clean. Doesn't have the isle blocked or stacked up with stock. The ladies you work there are friendly and helpful.

Manager is very friendly and staff treats customers great! They always help me and my daughter.

Love this store, friendly staff despite one of the managers always on her phone and usss profanity. Too many thieves too.
