Disc Heroes

I’ve been going to Disc Heroes for 4 years now and have nothing but good things to say about it!John and his staff are all really great. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. I shop for comics but they also have a large selection of magic cards and tournaments on a regular basis, and a great supply of disc golf equipment hence the name Disc Heroes. I really think that’ if you are looking for a LCS or are into gaming be it cards or a an upgrade on your equipment you should check them out!

They're comic selection is really nice. They have comics I thought never to hold in my hands. The owner is very nice and is willing to deal. Very knowlegdable in his comics and mtg cards. I will be back when ever I visit Portland again. I will be calling them untill then to order over the phone. I really enjoyed myself. Thank you!!!!!

One of the last OG Trading Card Stores left. The owner of this wonderful small business whose name is John, is one of the most kind, honest, and fare men to own a hobby shop. Bring your business here if you’re into Magic the Gathering! They hold tournaments with good prize payouts many days of the week. They also sell a large selection of Disc’s and supplies for Disc Golf!

I am out of state and was looking for a specific MTG single. I emailed them to find out more information and they replied back immediately with pictures and pricing information. 2 days later it was in my mailbox. AMAZING transaction. Thank you so much. I would recommend to everyone.

Great stock and selection of comics and Magic cards! I bought a booster box and pulled some really fantastic and valuable cards, proving that their products are legit. I can't tell you how many shop owners will tamper with packs to hunt for valuable cards, replace them with cheaper rares, and reseal the packs to then sell them at full price. These guys are honest and genuine people, friendly with a good sense of humor. Can't wait to build my first deck and try it out at a tournament!

Disc Heroes is an amazing little shop. My girlfriend asked to go there the other day and sadly they were closed because people broke in repeatedly in a short period of time according to what we looked up. Please give these guys some much deserved love and help them rebuild. I don't want to see an amazing store like this go under. Not after everything else over the last few years.

This place is awesome. They have a great selection of comics - both new, and plenty of Silver Age books as well. They have a great stock of Magic the Gathering as well, and lots of tables and space to play games. And of course disc golf supplies! The owner is also very personable and fun to talk to, and knows his stuff inside and out.

Fair warning, if you live in the main part of Portland or West of the river its a little bit of a drive to get to, but dont let that deter you - it's 100% worth the trip every time I' ve been there.

Took all our kids in to look for magic the gathering cards and Pokeman cards and we we’re welcomed, and treated so kindly.. explained the games and how to play, as well as gave the kids a welcome gift.. couldn’t have had a better experience. Great people.

Best LGS around. Very nice and knowledgeable employees that help with anything. Other LGS's around here I've been too are very rude and treat you poorly even though you are a customer. Definitely recommend Disk Heroes by a long shot.

I have been here a few times in the past. My son is into MTG so I brought him here. The guy at the counter was amazing. Friendly, helpful and you could tell he knew and enjoyed the game. Him and my son talked deck building for a few minutes. The atmosphere is laid back, with an inviting setup. He is very enthusiastic to try his hand at a tournament soon.

I will be coming back every week, this is my official local gaming store that I choose to frequent from now on! Great family environment to play and learn Magic the Gathering! Very large card selection across all formats, and always able to get in a friendly game with players and owners! Good snacks and fun times!

Completely wholesome and full of all the comic series that you are looking for currently, plus back issues of hundreds of titles. ALSO sells Magic and a few board games. Has a huge area for playing with your friends with snacks and drinks available!

Also has a great collection of disc's for all the golfing you can dream of!

Amazing selections on comics, magic cards, and disc golf stuff. I'm personally go to play modern and standard magic there. If you are looking to improve yourself, they are lots of high level skilled players plus two very knowledgeable judges that are willing to help. Friendly setting, for me it's like a home away from home.

This is an awesome shop! They help you with what cards you need and give you great card recommendations based on their decks. I built a whole commander deck with them, and have never over charged on cards or other products. They always greet costumers, ready to help when needed! - Kody
