Nordstrom Local Melrose

I recently visited Nordstrom Local and was blown away by the convenience of this store! It's the perfect place to pickup online orders and do returns, and the fact that it's so close by is a huge plus. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they even offer alterations and embroidery services, which is a real game-changer for me. Overall, I highly recommend Nordstrom Local

The convenience of returning Nordstrom on or Nordstrom Rack purchases is great! However, the tailoring costs are expensive.

This "local" store concept is inspired: the convenience of the location, the ample parking, the alterations department, picking up merchandise that was ordered a couple hours ago or making returns while enjoying a pressed juice is awesome. The amount of time that I've saved by coming here to handle the aforementioned has been substantial!!
The wonderful staff include Rose, Lauren, Richard and Kayla; they are always very welcoming and warm. Also Monique is on hand (no pun intended:) if you want to get your nails done.
I've had alterations done by Cor and he did an amazing job. He took two pair of jeans down three sizes and they fit beautifully! When I stop by, it's not simply transactional, it's like a retail Cheers...for those of you who remember...Thank you for taking great care of me!

I can return without going to the Grove!!! Heck ya! The staff is incredibly helpful, the storefront is beautiful, the interior is so welcoming. Everything about the concept and execution is well planned and appreciated by those who actively and regularly shop Nordstrom. But now with the hassles of going to the Grove. Parking is easy too with spots always available in back.

In love with this concept and this place. Cheyenne was absolutely lovely and so welcoming, as was everyone else. They have a few parking spaces, pressed juice, sparkling water, and abundant comfortable seating. The hassle of trying to make it to Nordstrom at the Grove or at century city is typically overwhelming, and this really felt like a dreamy and effortless experience.

Great idea and concept. My girlfriends and I do a full girls day here twice a year with facials, makeup, nails and styling appointments. Amazing fun time! The event includes refreshments, wine and snacks. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

First off, I’m a huge fan of good merchandising and great service - those go a long way in my book when I’m shopping. That said, Nordstrom Local doesn't really have these qualities, which is its odd and new selling point. It's a place where you can order what you need online from Nordstrom and have it shipped, altered and, if you don't like it, return it all usually within a day. which make for a really fantastic and futuristic shopping experience. Just imagine a store with no merchandise!

Had big work gala in the winter, needed a new formal gown and accessories plus alterations. Very easy, friendly staff, excellent tailoring, and got my dress, shoes, clutch, bra, and earrings in one quick go.

This almost was a one star review because they couldn’t find my garment that was tailored. I’m giving them five stars because of Nina at the store who really went above and beyond trying to locate the garment and then going so far is to drive herself to century city to pick it up.

This is a girls’s dream!!!
How is this place even real?
1. Free parking. I mean where on melrose can you have that
2. Pick up item you put on reserve
3. Have them altered right there and then
4. All in the mean time getting your mani and pedi AND have a cocktail.
I mean come on!!! How amazing is this place and how amazing is Nordstrom for having a place like this. I also found out that if you have any returns, which it does not have to be from Nordstrom, can be dropped off at Nordstrom Local and they’ll take care of the best. So let’s say I have to get my clothes altered and have an amazon return, I can simply go to Nordstrom Local and take my return box with me and drop it off there. It’s truly a one stop shop.
Fantastic idea and concept and I look forward to seeing more of these in every city.

The most calming place - love being able to pick up and return orders and have things tailored. Perfect for the online shopping addict who doesn’t want to shop in person

Excellent customer service , very attentive and friendly . love floor layout, made for very organized shopping experience , each brand in its own section and easy to take in individual items with the openness of the floorplan.

This place rocks. I had Xmas presents shipped here so I can keep my presents secret from my husband. And the staff are amazingly friendly.

Friendly customer service. Easy pickup. Wish they had there phone number on the signs outside their store in the parking lot to call instead of pulling up email..

Mari the seamstress for alterations is stellar in assessing the modifications required to enhance the garment look of perfection on the individual person.

Just a pickup and tailoring facility for Nordstrom but so convenient and friendly. Nordstrom has really figured out the customer service pivot.

Why would I ever go the Grove again? Incredible staff and good alternative retail experience.

Amazing place and well organized, if you purchased something online and dont want to bother going to the store where all the annoying people go here
