Von's has about everything you need except their deli is not that great.. sprouts has better kabobs and skewers & pre-made dinners to eat that night. Vons does has some premade dinners but they're usually salmon with potatoes or sandwiches, nothing that really you can put on the grill or air fryer like healthy steak or chicken kabobs or marinated salmon or brushed shrimp skewers like sprouts has. And sprouts has a much better selection dairy department for different cottage cheeses, creamers, & sugar-free ice cream and yogurts.

Love the Solana Beach store. Well stocked and friendly staff. Can always find what in looking for. Their Just 4 You program gives you additional discounts and rewards. The gas rewards are a really good deal especially if you tank up at a Vons gas station. There is one in Pacific beach. That's my hot tip of the day! Update-with gas prices up consider using your reward at Vons gas stations. Be sure to use Just for You! UPDATE: STILL GOOD! I like the early morning to shop!Update: all good! Update: still great. Clean, fresh, and stocked! Sometimes the butcher inventory is limited.

Overall great place to shop for groceries. Normally the lines aren't to long and if they are they go pretty fast. I Do not recommend the pickup and go option here, it's either a long wait because someone is not paying attention to the alert device, or your stuff is the last stuff they could find and I have to take it back.

Chrons always has the most fire herb. That shaz was straight up FUNK. I can barely see, and I absolutely love it. D-D-D-Danker than my bed sheets after a night of sweet passionate love 💗

The subway employee Antonio was excellent very happy and made the subway just the way I wanted... End he let me taste the new subway spice . Went over and beyond

First, let me apologize to the Von’s organization for judging their entire chain on the Encinitas store. That was a mistake. The Solana Beach Von’s is so much better that it’s like they aren’t even part of the same chain. It’s a large, clean store with a great selection and good prices. The meat department is very good, as is the produce. They have a selection of wine that could rival many of the larger liquor stores. Ever since we moved to Cardiff, we’ve been looking for a go-to supermarket for our regular grocery shopping. We finally found it in Solana Beach.

I love the selection of fresh items in the Solana Beach Vons on Loma Sante Fe Ave. Beautiful floral arrangements, 💐healthy plants. I'm not familiar with the Deli area. I get my "On the Go" lunch a few times a week created by the two Sushi chefs. Fresh, quick & tasty Japanese Fix.🍣 The Bakery is well maintained. Fresh Bread🥖 delivered daily, just ask for help if you want that loaf sliced!
The staff are always pleasant and helpful. They appear to have a good Team!

I can always count on Vons to have whatever I need. They have a wide assortment of items for any occasion. The employees are always willing to help me find my items. I also like having the option of self-checkout, which really helps the lines move quicker when it's busy. Their Deli is also very helpful (aka: samples). The pharmacy here is very pleasant and the people behind the counter are very helpful. Overall, very clean and welcoming location. Would definitely recommend!

The Solana Beach location is a VERY nice store. BIG, too. Neat, well organized and very clean. Some of the prettiest produce -- I don't think I saw any greens that looked even slightly wilted. Oh, and their watering system for the veggies even simulates thunder and lightning! I guess to make them feel at home 😄 This was also the most fully stocked store of any kind I've ever been in -- no gaping holes in the inventory or cleaned out shelves like you find EVERYWHERE in east county.

This Vons is conveniently located by the freeway and has always had a large selection of items. I am satisfied with the produce here although their fruit is not always perfect. The amount of Asian foods they have available is perfect and if I’m missing some relatively exotic ingredient, the chances are high that this Vons will have it. Friendly enough staff with access to self checkout makes this my go-to store.

Only Solana Beach would sell 16 dollar luxury pineapple

The bakery here is amazing.there are so many staff at the checkout and so many lines to choose from, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to complete my purchase! The Redbox is always well stocked! If you need a florist no matter the occasion, they have bouquets, arrangements and customizable gifts the staff can put together nicely for you!

Always love to have an opportunity to work with the best people in the world. The fact that the company is without a doubt the best of all grocery stores has always had an excellent quality of merchandise and the quality of their team! It truly is a great Family, Tribe,and is the perfect gift of all that I have learned to have the most of respect for. I don't hesitate to say that there are no negatives to the fact that this is an extremely important part of the community and the people who are just so intuitive and have a keen love of their customers to make sure they know that they will not have a problem letting the truth be known and that is when you shop and frequent the store for whatever reason is on that day. I have been here twice were staying in Solana Beach area and this the closest grocery store to us besides the healthy one like sprouts or whole foods I definitely recommend this place it has great prices very reasonable

This is the Hilton of VONS supermarkets! Every department is well staffed & well stocked. The store is massive - clean & well ventilated (some stores are claustrophobic & stuffy). The staff is always pleasant & helpful. The floral department & assistant are outstanding - a $10 bouquet of fresh flowers or roses lasts a week! and they make up fabulous designer bouquets. I feel so fortunate to make this my "local".

Irene in the produce section is the most helpful and kind employee ever. In general this is the cleanest, most well stocked grocery store I've ever been to. The Vons app makes couponing really easy too.

You should make Stan Rogers the permanent Manager. He's great with the customers, even the difficult ones. No one leaves the store without knowing that Stan at least cares, Even during the wine sale rush, he was calm and helpful. Why wait. Stan should be the manager now.
