Gelson's Del Mar

I was passing through the area with my family a couple weeks ago and needed a few things. Horacio stopped what he was doing to assist me in finding something I had been looking for. He was helpful and friendly. I went to check out with another friendly and helpful employee. Great service and selection. I'll be back!

FANTASTIC CLEAN OPEN WELL-LIT AND STOCKED location! I love coming in. It's a breath of fresh air (literally) and the management is exceptional, very upbeat and positive. FAR BETTER in terms of cleanliness and staff than Whole Foods across the street.

Shnazzy Grocery store! All kinds of cool stuff in there! Top-notch meat section! Employees are always friendly! This grocery store is definitely for the high class individual that doesn’t want to be caught grocery shopping we’re all the other standard issue humans shop!

That the store is very clean. However I wish you had a sushi chef, a deli counter and a Victor Benes bakery. We just moved from Newport and the Del Mar store lacks a lot of the services we are used to. Please add these services! Thanks!

People are always helpful and friendly. And Gelson’s continues to introduce new environmentally friendly products using renewable and compostible materials. Hopefully they can find a way to become plastic-free. I’d like to see them pressuring manufacturers.

Stacy was helpful and friendly, the store is clean and spacious, ample parking always available. Interesting variety of food to choose from.

Absolutely Great pharmacy; Anita has been an exceptional pharmacist for 20+ years. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and provides beyond professional service to everyone. Alicia, another wonderful woman excels at finding resources for any pharmaceutical question or need with a can do attitude.

Never a wait for a checker.Gelsons has hard t find items,I can't find @other stores. They have the nicest employees, and widest,cleanest isles, I've ever seen, anywhere.

I have no complaints. I only shop at Gelson's and I only use the pharmacy. Every employee is excellent.

Gelson’s Market is the covid escape for people who want nice items without all the crowds!!! The staff here is incredible, the aisles are wide open, food is fresh, well stocked, and although a little more expensive than the average bear, there are zero lines and you feel like they care about you. Never go to RALPHS again! Come here every time !

The Del Mar store was so surprisingly spacious and with a beautiful flower and gift area. I normally shop at the Pacific Beach store but will be heading to Del Mar in the future.

I love the refillable imported extra virgin olive oil and they also have an available fresh caviar too. We also saw some blue roses. Lots of items that are found here that cannot be seen in other stores. Very clean store with no crowds at all.

Friendly, helpful staff. Love to shop at Gelson’s for items I can’t find in other stores.

I asked that a half gallon of the fresh squeezed orange juice be held for me till I can get off work at 5 pm. They did it and I do appreciate it. The juice is so delicious.

Loved the store, they carry pretty much everything. You can even have a drink and a snack while they collect everything on your shopping list.

The closing of your pharmacy is a terrible disappointment. It will result in fewer visit to your store.

Interesting market a cross between a boutique type store and major grocer. Not any more expensive or discount market either. Gelson's has some unique gourmet items, and your typical Oscar Mayer weiners. I was drawn to the aroma therapy section of the store.
