Quality produce at reasonable prices. For example, today a 3lb Cabot cheese block was $15.50. Cherry tomatoes were $4 per pound. Large cucumber for $0.90, large fresh buch of scallions for $1.50. . overall very pleased

This is a great place to get produce. I wish they had more organic and local produce featured, but I feel that it is the best place to buy produce in the upper Valley.

Stern's a small,l very produce clean, produce/grocery store with a decent variety. I love that they have the zero wast bulk nuts and seeds and rice and beans. They provide brown bags if you'd like. Their produce is of great quality. The staff is so nice! They help you and are very friendly. When I was leaving one of the staff members asked if I needed help bringing stuff to my car. I love that they use used boxes for your food and dont waste plastic if they don't have to. They are small and don't have everything, but they have a lot and I'm happy with the prices. Much cheaper than the typical Co-op, but maybe a little more expensive than the typical grocery store, but with higher quality. Also, it's very clean! I will be coming here for now on! It's a White River Junction Jem!

This place is awesome. It's basically a produce stand but it's enclosed. The selection is really good, lots of great produce that even the grocery store doesn't always have, plus some other local goodies. Also, the value is incredible, for $10 I got a huge bushel of kale, tomatoes, an onion, and some tangerines, and some garlic. It's probably the best deal on produce in town.

So much yummy fresh produce! Great selection of items, many I have never heard of our seen before there's always someone there who can tell you about it and offer a way to cook it or recipe. Amazing prices too.

The store is small but packed with a wonderful selection and quality produce that is hard to find elsewhere. The staff is super friendly and they are ready to help you find everything you're looking for. Loved it! Will definitely come back.

This place is great; its mostly very local produce, just like the Co-op, but guess what? It is way cheaper; huh...

And the quality is excellent. Big and beautiful pieces of fruit, veggies, etc plus some dairy and tofu. They are always busy and sometimes the service is a bit eccentric but always very friendly and helpful; love this place.

Stern's is the best!
Their produce is the freshest around, and much, much cheaper than any grocery store. Their selection changes frequently, so you can try lots of different fruits and vegetables. They also have local eggs, dairy products and dirt-cheap nuts. I highly recommend Stern's for an affordable healthy lifestyle!

But keep in mind that they only take cash and are closed on Sundays.

Best fresh produce, excellent variety, decent prices and friendly service

Honestly one of the best places I’ve been in Vermont the fruits are fresh cashier is very kind and clean vegetable and fruits going back tmr after work

The lady at the cash register was super nice. The store is fantastic, I finally found a place that has green plantains.😭 I could cry!

Stern’s has a nice selection of fruits berries and vegetables at terrific prices.

The dairy case is filled the usual but also features Cabot cheeses and Vermont produced milk.

They have my favorite Asian food items too like different kinds if rice, spring roll wrappers, tofu, sesame seeds, won bok, bok choy, nori, ginger, Thai chili’s, the popular 3 crab fish sauce, taro corms, various eggplant and fresh shiitake mushrooms.

Nuts and seeds are very reasonably priced.

There are a wide variety of spices too

The best place around for fresh produce, bulk nuts/seeds and Cabot dairy products. Sometimes I visit them 4 times a week.

This place always has great and fresh produce. Decent pricing too. Since it's essentially a Farmer's market, it is sourced locally, reducing the farm to table distance as well.
